My amazing husband does a great job of fixing things around the house. This time was a leaky bathtub faucet. Our 40 year old house gave him a good fight and he ended up breaking the copper pipe. We had no water and called in the professionals. I have two go to plumbers that I always call, Hitt is always on my list. Both companies I called were busy and we had to wait a few hours before we heard back. Hitt was able to arrive first so they got the job. The plumber arrived and once he saw the job he seemed pretty irritated, and quickly told us we would be paying him overtime. I honestly wanted to tell him to leave and wait for the other company. My husband wanted him to stay. He started the job and it was a snowball effect of things that went wrong, a few of my personal items were broken. The faucet was fixed within 3 hours. A brand new handle was installed but our old bathtub spout was not replaced. When I asked if we were supposed to get a new spout included with the $200 part bundle, I was told by the plumber he did not have the right part on his truck and we could "do it ourselves". The very next day I called the office to ask about the spout and also told them what had happened about my damaged items during the appointment. I am not an unreasonable or unrealistic person. I understand things can go wrong, people can have bad or off days, that's not an issue. I do expect a company to stand by their work and right any wrongs. Hitt plumbing went well above my expectations of valuing me as a customer. They handled everything very professionally by returning my phone calls and setting me up with another appointment to install the tub spout. They also replaced my damaged items with more than enough compensation. I have to say they impressed me and I appreciate their customer service so much. Any company that values their customers like Hitt is definitely a company that I will continue to support. hit plumbing over charged me more than double on part of a repair. when I tried to reason with Mr. hitt, he became enraged while getting off his chair and pointing his finger in a stabbing like manner. I relented my attempts because I could clearly see he was adamant and more about his refusal. I didn't get more than two sentences out when he started his tirade. he was exceptionally high.no estimate was given. I was desperate because I had a very bad water leak in my bathroom that was pouring water in that wall into my garage. I was at their mercy to have it repaired. I highly recommend that you don't hire hitt plumbing and seek another plumbing. also,They are not union plumbers. if they were, one would have a better chance of solving my problem because they would have to answer their union local. read more

I received a verbal and email confirmation from my home owner insurance to use Hitt Plumbing as a dedicated service for my plumbing issues. I then scheduled an appointment to get a plumber to fix my slab leak and I informed the Customer service representative that I am calling from my insurance company ( I also gave him my confirmation code). He said we are all set to go for the appointment. The plumber did come on time and then informed me after he did the leak detection that he will need to charge me for his services. I contacted Hitt to inform them of the situation and they had to research the issue. They then informed me they no longer work with the home insurance company and will need to charge me full price. The customer service representative was also new to the job so he gave me the wrong information. I was pretty upset but was forgiving. So I wanted to give them a second chance to continue the job to fix the leak. I called at least 4 times to get qoute and each time they told me that the boss is not available and will call me back. After 2 weeks, there was no response. I guess I am being ignored and just wanted them to tell me they can't do the job. Hope other people get better customer service than I did. read more

I was having issues with the water coming into the home and called HITT PLUMBING to come have a look.They arrived before their allotted time in which was cool.I met Mr.Rob and Mr.Bradley I must say that the two are a crew.MrRob did all of his checks with the pressure gauge on the 2outdoor spouts got a reading of 110psi on both spouts.He then informed me that he can replace the pressure release valve for me, in which was a relief to my family and I.So then he and Bradley got straight to it.Real professionals with skills.The piece was installed and working in 20 minutes with operational pressure of 65psi.You just can not find such skills as those guys.I will always use and refer HITT PLUMBING when I need help.THANKS A BUNCH 2025 March 17 Mr.Nicholson 5 stars HITT IS A HIT! read more

My apartment complex needed to drain their sceptic this morning, unfortunately for me, it happens to be under my bedroom window. Aside from them yelling "This is disgusting" loudly and repeatedly outside my window at 9am- The company allowed a MASS spillage of sh!t and toiler paper to create a lovely poop river under my units windows. For 4 hours, I had been breathing in the baking toxic waste fumes in 108° heat. Then, I saw them leaving, so I went outside to ask if they were going to do something about it, you know, pick up the literal crap they left....He replied, "We don't have anything to do with it." You bet your butt I called my property management immediately! As someone with cancer/weak immune system, I'm disgusted at the professionalism and lack of care. To allow anyone to breath this in and find it okay? To think you can just leave this? No. ACTUAL CRAP *Update: They "cleaned" it, thanks for hosing it 3 feet away. Honestly would have given a good review. However I believe in good customer service. Tenants came out to fix a leak without prior approval. They fix the leak issue and charged 3 hours + parts. I called tech to find out the high charges only for him to respond so rudely. I could not even finish a sentence. Would not recommend. read more

Had a 40 gallon water heater from HITT Plumbing on 7/3/2020 and I wan impressed with the work Sal did. He set everything up with new water and gas pipes and new valves for each of them. BEWARE of Hitt plumbing in Apple Valley... here's why: My appliance warranty company (HomeServe)... sent out Hitt plumbing recently when my water heater bit the dust. Hitt plumbing's "plumber" reported to my warranty company that it was my pipes that were leaking and NOT the water heater itself, which, oddly enough, the water heater was to be covered under my contract. Surprise, suprise, now the warranty company gets off the hook! It couldn't have been a LEAK...my garage had lots of water in it as it flooded the platform it sits on and the garage...I've been paying HomeServe for 5 YEARS now, never needed or used them, until this issue and it wasn't right that Hitt was giving incorrect reporting! I was already told by my homeowners insurance company's plumber (who came prior to the Home warranty 3rd party plumber...Hitt) that it WAS my water heater and that I should not only have the unit replaced but to do the hardware as well. Let me tell you...I didn't have a clue as to WHY the Hitt plumber would do this to me, turns out...my neighbor down the way said the SAME thing happened to her but instead of reporting that she didn't need the water heater, he said he'd say she DID but he'd need to sell her the plumbing kit for 650.00!!! the parts for the unit...You can buy those parts at Lowes or Home Depo for 40.!!! and if you need a pan under it, thats another $15. - $20 bucks, far cry from 650!....why didn't he scam me??? He KNEW I wasnt the girl that'd fall for this scam....he sold my neighbor his sales- pitching plumber B.S. that gives plumbers a bad name!!! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. Was outback chopping wood for this short winter, when I noticed drain water coming from just above the house foundation below a drain clean out. After checking inside for signs of leakage, which I was grateful there was none, I identified the leak is only while the sink and dishwasher are draining. After speaking with Chad, I notified my homeowners insurance for advice and also as a just in case scenario. Brad arrived for the diagnosis part and confirmed the location and source of the leak. He nailed the location as the sanitary tee fitting, through the wall. I arranged an appointment, the crew arrived promptly, cut the stucco, found the location of the leak and completed the plumbing repairs. The stucco repair followed a couple of days later, he also arrived promptly and made the hole disappear. The whole job was completed under the estimate and we're completely satisfied with the prompt professional service from the folks at Hitt and the subcontractor Phil Ferguson plastering. read more

They showed up and completely re did all my plumbing under my sink and installed a new facuet. When they finished the job, the plumbing was ran in a more efficient way and freed up space underneath my sink. As far as pricing they came in, at what I feel was fair pricing. Yesterday, we had 2 courteous, professional plumbers come to our home to repair a dripping faucet and a toilet that kept running. They did a fabulous job and explained all options to us. (They even tolerated our cat that wanted to help them do the job.) While they were here, we asked them about replacing an older kitchen faucet someday. They had a replacement faucet in their truck, and took care of the entire matter right then and there! Their total charge was very reasonable, in fact it was much lower than my husband had expected. I have used the services of Hitt Plumbing for many years and for the most part been very happy with their work. I recently had an experience with them that caused me to reconsider. I thought I had a leak in my kitchen plumbing and called them to come out. I thought this because the water pressure seemed low. When the person came out he found out that the aerator was clogged. He took the little screen out and replaced the aerator without another screen. When I asked him what the charges were - he said no charge. He was in the house for a couple of minutes. A month later I get a call from Hitt Plumbing saying that I owed for the call - $95.00. I sent them a check. For that amount the screen should have been reinstalled. Not happy. read more

After suffering a complete disaster with another plumber, we were in desperate need of a "good" one this time, so we called Hitt and they are amazing! They were able to send out a guy that same day. Robert came out and it turns out, he was the same guy that did the plumbing "fix" on our kitchen sink a year ago (which we completely forgot about but with any renovation job, your mind kind of goes out a window). Robert is so friendly and professional and such a pleasure to work with. Not only is he an excellent plumber that really knows what he is doing, he gave us a very fair price, even when we added on a job at the last minute. We were amazed that he actually had the parts he needed to complete our job, but the additional one we gave him as well. I used Hitt Plumbing during a remodel of my master shower. The plumber was nice enough but the job was sloppy. The shower head was crooked which I fixed my self. When I got the charge for the services I noticed that the parts charge was excessive. $192 for $52 of what would be retail at Home Depot or Lowes. I called to find out if this was normal practice for them and was told someone would call me back. I never received a call. I will not recommend them or use them in the future. read more

We've been using Hitt Plumbing for the past year or so. They've been reliable but their prices are too high for me. They only install expensive plumbing fixtures such as MOEN. That's great, it's durable and long-lasting, but a bathroom faucet will run you $96.00 and a kitchen faucet will be $123.00 (that's just materials, not labor). They won't install cheaper types or brands. I used them for our apartment complex in Apple Valley. It's an older building, but for the faucets Hitt replaced are nicer than what I have in my own home. I'm not a plumber, but I am a successful real estate investor, and those expensive faucets are not going to command higher rents. They'll probably last longer, but you have to consider the time value of money when you have investments. When I questioned Matt (owner?) about my latest invoice of $862.50 he was actually upset that I was trying to get more details about how he came up with that figure. I hired hit plumbing 6 weeks ago. A plumber of theirs came out, snaked the line, then started to charge me 125.00 It was altered to 175.00 I paid and gave the worker a 20.00 tip. The plumber said that He will give a 3 month warranty. I said great. 6 weeks later it did the same thing. I called Hitt plumbing and they said they normally charge 125.00, They will honor the warranty and send some one out. Then They called back to say there will be another 175.00 charge. After their forman told me he has no idea why I was charged the extra 50.00.All of a sudden they decided to charge me full boat. I called another plumbing company. they are on the way out now.. I am retired from a service business and was very successful in my life. I know how to run a business. It amazes me how company's get along not honoring their work and what they promise. read more

Skip fixed 3 problems in 2 completely different areas in under 2hrs. I needed my water heater shut off valve relocated and he was able to get around the unit without even moving the water heater (mine is located in a very small cubby closet), replaced old style valve and installed a run off line from my pressure valve on top to outside the closet, all in accordance with how my inspector had explained, but I did not even have to tell him, he automatically did his work to proper code. Skip also got up on top of my roof and installed a proper drain on my A/C unit. Very reasonable price, and even broke down parts and labor on the bill.
