we called roto rooter about our toilet being clogged…read more they told us it was a free estimate. after he inspected the toilet, he advised us that we needed a new toilet then he charged us $200. which we paid. then he got our permission to go out and buy a new toilet before we knew it, after everything was said, and done, then we owed another $325.00 the receipt didn't even explain what all the different chargers were to equal this amount of money. first, we paid $200, then later it was another $325, without anything being itemized on the invoice. we have no idea of the type of toilet he bought, or any other expenses that were incurred i believe that we totally overpaid for the services, and got taken advantage of. we would greatly appreciate getting some of our money refunded back to us, for the lack of communication, and no breakdown of the different costs on the invoice.

No charge. So Tad came out Friday and the heater was shot. Once he took the cover off I could see the water spewing on the inside when we turned the water to hot. The water damaged the copper and materials inside. We needed a new one. He provided the option for 2 kinds of tankless heaters. We chose the bigger one that has a 10 year warranty and a free flush after a year. We didn't know the heaters needed to be flushed every so often. A representative from Hesperia Water District came to the house to say our meter was running…read morenonstop. We did troubleshooting wherever we could by shutting off water to the house, the toilets, the irrigation system....everything. We called one plumbing company but they said we needed leak detection which they didn't offer, so we zeroed in on Olson Plumbing and Leak Detection. Their website said there was no charge for leak detection, so we figured we couldn't lose. Not only were the two brothers Cody and Jeff at our house within 40 minutes, but they spent two hours searching every tap, wall, and pipe....to no avail. They finally started checking water pressure at hose bibs because there were no leaks to be found and lo and behold, one was registering 130+ psi which pinpointed a blown pressure regulator. The two brothers kept assuring us that they wouldn't quit until they'd diagnosed our problem and they weren't kidding. They got the city's water meter to quit spinning and we got a professional repair without having to even pay for all their diagnostic work. Since they'd scoured our house from top to bottom looking for leaks, we're now making plans for a bathtub to shower conversion since they do work like that too. Prompt, friendly, tenacious, knowledgeable, and professional, these brothers are our plumbers for life! I spent 45 minutes on hold waiting for Hesperia Water District to tell us how they knew there was a problem at the house, and I was told it was because our water bill was so high. The next day our 2 month water bill posted in email.....$5,000! You read it right FIVE THOUSAND dollars. Water is liquid gold in the High Desert. Now we throw ourselves on the mercy of the City of Hesperia regarding the bill and hope the bulk of the water trickled back into the aquifer.
