Paula performed a very thorough and in-depth inspection on a house I bought in the Houston area. I met her at the house after the inspection and she walked me through the house pointing out all of her findings. She is incredibly thorough and great at explaining everything around the house from structural to electrical. Best of all is she is able to put everything into perspective given her experience to let me know if the issues are minor wear and tear or major that require attention. Definitely would recommend her to friends and family. read more

I can't thank Keith and Joshua enough for their very through inspection. We never would have found all that ourselves and have a punch list for the builder to fix before closing. I highly recommend Hite! read more

Keith was great! We did have a mix up with pricing but it was fixed without a second thought! We got our new build inspected and he was very thorough. Although there wasn't much, he still gave us a detailed list of what needed to be fixed and was very kind and informative when explaining it to me. Lastly, the man that answered the phone when I called about pricing had the BEST attitude and energy. Loved it! read more

Professional service! We worked with Paula for an inspection. She was very through in her work, provided us with a detailed list of items categorized in three levels. She was on time and gave us a call 1 hour before finishing up so we can discuss the results before she leaves. The report was ready promptly same day. Highly recommend. read more

Incredibly detailed inspection and very quick response time! Our inspector, Josh, thoroughly explained his findings and allowed us to ask any questions immediately after his inspection was complete. The inspection report was provided to us within hours of the actual inspection. Overall great service and pleasant people to deal with from the time we called to schedule the service through the inspection and report. read more

My realtor referred me to Hite Tech and I am very pleased. My inspector, Joshua, did a mighty fine job. He arrived early and did his due diligence. Although it was a triple digit degree day, Joshua came to work with his water jug and remained detail oriented! He walked me through the property and gave a very thorough inspection of what was up to code and what was not. I will definitely be going back to Hite Tech when I have to inspect another property and I will be requesting Joshua! read more

The Hitetech team is amazing. They accommodated rescheduling the inspection appointment during the same day and were pleasant to work with. Tyler was fantastic, very thorough, and very supportive during the walkthrough process. Wonderful team! read more

Super easy to book - booked Friday night for a Saturday morning inspection. alA thorough job was done on the inspection with an easy to follow report with links and recommendations on what type of person to hire for a fix. Discount with reviews. read more

Save yourself the headache and do not get a home Inspector when buying your home. Instead, I would use the $400 that you will pay for the inspection with Hite and hire an HVAC contractor, a roofing contractor, electrician and plumbing contractor to inspect your house- it'll come out to be the same price. We hired Hite Inspections to do our home inspection during the option period... the report didn't state anything about the furnace nor AC having issues besides that the AC unit used R22. A day after closing, the heat and AC stopped working. We ended up having to replace both units. We contacted Hite and of course they denied any negligence. Useless. They don't add any value. read more

The inspection and the inspection report were very clear. Providing the report through a web page with photographs demonstrated the issues found. The company worked around my schedule since I had a option period that would expire quickly. I am very pleased with the work performed and just so that you know, this is the second time I used them for that very reason. read more

Very thorough! I am so pleased with my inspection. The booking process was a breeze (as well as rescheduling), and everything was communicated to me promptly. I really appreciate the digital documents and being able to sign electronically. My inspection lasted 2-3 hours. I didn't know what to expect, but I am happy that The Hites searched every possible nook/cranny. They then spent about an hour afterward with me going over red flagged items. Lastly, pictures AND video accompanied my full report! So handy. Highly recommend as they are all very nice people both over the phone and in-person. read more

Marlon was great! He was very thorough with his inspection. The report that was given was very detailed and easy to follow.

Excellent inspection quality and customer service. Highly recommend. I have used different companies in the past and this is by far the best

My impression is that the inspector was not as experience as we expected. I'm very pleased with the costumer service at the moment of make the inspection appointment. We decided to have an inspection for the HVAC and he found several issues that should be detective by the general inspector. Inspector was very respectful and took the time to go through the house but he missed some critical points such as: - Mold in the attic. - Rusted water coming from the attic, in the left side of the house coming from the air conditioner rusted Pan. Im curios about the difference in the termites inspection. I paid for it and just received a simple note in the report. read more

Our inspector, David, was extremely helpful, diligent, and thorough in his inspection of our new home. As first time home buyers, we were completely new to the home inspection process. David made sure to explain every aspect of his inspection to us to ensure we understood his findings. Also, David explained what the impact his findings would have on our new home currently and in the future. David was extremely efficient in his process and was able to deliver our detailed inspection report before the end of the day. We would highly recommend Hitetech Inspections to any buyer, first-time or experienced, due to their professionalism, attention to detail, efficiency, and quality/thoroughness of inspection. read more

Paula of Hite Tech Inspections arrived on time and performed a very thorough inspection of all the aspects of the home, including a requested termite inspection. I wish that I could give them 0 stars. My real estate agent referred me to Hite Home Inspectors during the process of purchasing an investment property. I paid $400 for the home inspection and another $200 for an additional plumbing inspection (due to a winter freeze in Houston). Their inspection report showed no issues with the furnace or AC unit (only that the AC used an outdated version of freon, R22), but the day after my tenant moved in she complained about both units not working properly. I paid 3 HVAC contractors to inspect the units and all 3 said that both units were deficient, the furnace was potentially dangerous and both units needed to be completely replaced. I immediately paid around $6,500 for both units to be replaced so that my tenant would be comfortable. I contacted Hite after this ordeal and they explained that they do not open and inspect these units during their inspections - so they basically only inform you about aesthetic issues/not major structural or mechanical issues with your future property. They offered no compensation, culpability or empathy regarding this situation. Piece of advise - hire licensed tradespeople to do your home inspections when purchasing a property. I will never use a general home inspection company again and will only use licensed HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers and roofing contractors to do my home inspections. Their combined inspection costs would have most likely totaled the same and would have saved me a major headache having to replace both of these units after my tenant moved in. I would not recommend Hite Home Inspections to anyone in the Houston area. read more

Tyler Roberts performed a home inspection that was very thorough to include thermal imaging for my new construction home. I appreciate the level of service provided and the time taken to walk me through the report. The report is an easy read referencing relevant codes where applicable. Not only does he provide photos, but he also took time to mark the findings with tape, making it easy for the builder to locate/address issues. He was very patient while answering my questions and exhibited great customer service. I would recommend Hitetech House Inspections! read more

I have used Hite Tech several times now for buyers' inspections. They are always thorough, do a great job of explaining their findings in a way that doesn't scare buyers by pointing out items in need of immediate attention vs items to watch or maintain. And, they have great availability as we are generally able to schedule an inspection within a day or two. read more

My boyfriend and I are first time home buyers and as many people know the process can be overwhelming at times. The least overwhelming decision we made was booking with Hite Tech House Inspections for the Buyer Inspection. When booking the appointment Rachel was extremely helpful and communicative. Based on my request for a thorough inspector she recommended Michael Rasco. In the time between booking the appointment and the inspection we received many notifications from confirming the appointment to appointment reminders. The entire process was very organized! On the day of the inspection we received the notification received the "one-hour warning" text for the inspection walk through. Michael was finishing up as we arrived. David Hite also arrived to perform the termite inspection. We started the walk through with the exterior of the house working our way inside. Michael's explanations of the finding were communicated in a clear and detailed manner. He took the time to address any questions and concerns at arose. Another great thing about Michael is that he did not assume we knew what any acronyms meant. If Michael used an acronym he used the "expanded" terminology and then explained the definition/purpose of the term. It was clear to us, both David Hite and Michael Rasco are passionate about their craft. They are extremely knowledgeable and genuinely care about the customer. By the end of the walk through I was more than happy to hand over my money. We know we would receive a quality report by true subject matter experts. 10/10 would recommend Hite Tech House Inspection to anyone needing a home inspection in the future. Latest update, after seeing the superb quality and thoroughness of the Inspection Report my sister said they are calling Hite Tech Inspections out next time they move. read more
