Amy will literally just accept your pet in just to euthanize it. I had a friend who told me about…read moreher experience bringing in her dog, Amy thought the dog acted out too much and said the pup wouldn't be trainable and would most likely be euthanized. 1. How do you just say that to someone? 2. How are you working at a shelter/intake/care facility for animals and you think this is appropriate to say and then do? 3. She is breed sensitive and hates anything she doesn't know without any care for their well being. This place is AWFUL - stay away 4. Look at the other comments here they say everything too. AMY should be let go and never allowed to be around animals :/

Horrible, horrible experience with Amy. During our phone call she made up lies about Oregon Humane…read morethat didn't even make sense. She told me a story about how they took back the same dog 6 times but then also said they don't take pets back?! What?! Those things contradict! It's clear she is just lying about OHS for clout. She also admitted she has BREED PREJUDICE for German shepards, but also "covid" and "Rez" dogs. Yeah. She discriminates based on breed, age, and BEING FROM A NATIVE RESERVATION. This person has no business running an animal shelter and SHOULD BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY. Also I saw their sign says family friendly but she cusses every other word. She got really defensive and claimed to be helping but judging by her demeanor and reviews on other sites, she's just helping herself feel like a good person by putting animals down and giving herself a big salary. I will be contacting Pixie's board soon to ask to have this person removed and I encourage others to do the same. Disgusting behavior and attitude. She should be ashamed.

My friend has…read moreworked/volunteered in animal organizations for 20+ years, so her recommendation was similar to Tiger Woods recommending a golf instructor. I wasn't going to question it. Not surprisingly, Dr Carr was initially unavailable, so I went on a wait list. After a few months, we were invited to join the Buckman family. I cannot put into words the love, quality of care, patience, and expertise of the *entire* staff--with a special shoutout to nurse Melanie! Also, I could not hide that I was a very anxious new mom. I was afraid my ignorance would in some way harm Buddy. Dr Carr and the nurses were as gracious, kind, and patient with *me* as much as they were with him. More recently, Buddy has been dealing with gastritis and skin allergies. I quickly discovered that there is an onslaught of information (and possibly misinformation) available from Dr Google. It is a tremendous relief to put the laptop away and have complete faith in Dr Carr's treatment plan.

They give accurate estimates with a high/low range & haven't exceeded it once. Every staff member loves animals and it shows. They care. It's not about getting every penny they possibly can. They are knowledgeable, transparent & excellent in communicating. I find the staff pleasant and engaging, genuinely kind. Our babies love going here, and we are happy to have such a wonderful place to take them for their needs. It is honestly, repeatedly the best place I've ever taken my little loves. Street parking, never had to park more than a block away. Pricing is fair. I'd recommend this vet office to anyone and everyone.

We recently welcomed a furry bundle of joy into our home, and have found ourselves overwhelmed by her overly-enthusiastic approach to living life. Our little angel is all teeth and claws, and boundless energy! Wonder Puppy group puppy training classes are amazing. We are halfway through their 9-week course now, and already feel we've received valuable return on investment. Trainers Katie and Matt have shown genuine interest in our puppy's well-being and progress. They have a remarkable ability to connect with both puppies and their owners, anticipating any of the crazy questions we might ask. The classes cover a wide range of essential topics from basic commands like sit, stay, to more advanced topics like loose-leash walking and impulse control. Wonder Puppy ensures a positive experience for everyone who walks through their doors, offering personalized guidance and support. I really had no idea puppy socialization is so important. Wonder Puppy enables a safe and controlled environment where puppies can interact and play with one another. I've already seen the value in these socialization experiences as my puppy is beginning to calm down, and to learn appropriate behaviors... most notably, how much is too much? Seriously, those little teeth and claws are really quite sharp! I appreciate the well-maintained and clean facility at Wonder Puppy. There is ample street parking in the neighborhood, though beware of the homeless camp located on the next block. Use common sense when securing your vehicles, and be sure to keep any valuables out of sight or bring them in the building with you. My husband, my puppy and I have all benefited tremendously from our time at Wonder Puppy. It's been a really positive experience, and I'm hoping the lessons we've learned will serve us for many years to come.
