Our realtor recommended Lon L'Heureux to us. Lon did a tremendous job for us. He had floors put in on several rooms, worked framing out the new bedroom and some remodeling in another bedroom, and oversaw electrical, plumbing, painting and tiling work. His team was excellent. While the work took time due to the availability of some construction materials, as soon as they were available he had his team doing installations within a few days. Also, his team cleaned up nicely once the work was completed. It was clear to me from the beginning that Lon has lots of experience. He asked the right questions, made several excellent suggestions, and made all the changes we requested. We always knew in advance when one of his team was due to come out to do work. He charged very fair prices. We strongly recommend his services.

I called several plumbers and some did not even bother getting back to me. Nice Guy Plumbing promptly did. They were able to come to my home within a matter of two days and address the problem. I feel relief having found a plumber that I can rely upon in the future and that I feel I can trust in not overcharging me. My kitchen sink drain issue was a happy accident in that I have now found a trustworthy plumber.

Justin of Rosewood Electrical has been my electrician for years now and I hope for many many more!…read moreI just entered the realm of Electric Vehicles and called Justin. He guided me through my options, we talked about where to put a 220 outlet in my garage, and the fact that the aluminum wiring in my 1970's house is problematic for charging an EV - something the dealership did not mention. So glad I hired Justin to do this job! He installed copper wire from the breaker box all the way through the basement to the garage for my new outlet. (The rest of the house outlets and switches are already pigtailed thanks to Justin). Justin is an excellent electrician. He is very knowledgeable about electrical issues in older homes, personable, calm, efficient, clean, and very fair in his pricing. Call Justin, you'll be glad you did!

Paul from Boulder County Plumbing is outstanding; completely in a league of his own…read more The quality of his work is evident at every step of a project and with the way he puts piping together it's almost a shame that drywall has to cover the work. I appreciate not only the attention to detail that Paul has in his work, by the eye he keeps on maintainability as well. Items that he's worked on for us are always arranged in such a way that they can be easily serviced in the future, whether that means being able to conveniently drain a exterior line or have access to snake a drain pipe. Paul understands the entire picture of what's happening on a job. He absolutely saved our basement remodel project last year and I simply can't thank him enough for all the great work he's done in our home. I would recommend Boulder County Plumbing to anyone and everyone - and I'd never call anyone else for my own work. Even the town's building inspector was asking for Paul's number. ;) Thanks Paul, for everything.

My house is a mix of eras, from original construction in 1950 to an addition from 1979 to remodels of much plumbing oriented rooms, kitchen and 2 baths and laundry room in the early 2000s. Factor in a rather unique yard irrigation system from 2009 that hooked into the old plumbing, many systems have had problems. Mark was recommended by the contractor who did much of the upgraded rooms, the baths in particular. As parts have worn, he has been ready and able to get us out of many a bind. He has never been intimidated by my low dirt crawlspace. In the past, I had a plumber look at it from the entrance door and simply refuse to go in to fix the pipe involved in the problem. Mark, like my electrician and most but not all of the irrigation techs who have looked, went in and took care of business. It is not wet, it does not smell, there are no large animals, just a few spiders. If you are a workman in this field, it should not be scary. Mark's work inside the house has always been efficiently completed, neatly cleaned up and he has gotten it right the first time, every time. He always returns calls when I have a problem. He has been a solo plumber on our household jobs. He has an answering machine for requests but does have a cell for emergencies. He is not available weekends though, so for a really desperate emergency we once had on a Sunday, I did have to call one of the overpriced rescue companies in town, but just once in the 15 years he has worked on this house.

I originally contacted Travis based on his reviews on Yelp. a source I have come to rely upon. I…read moreonly had a small job I thought, replace a bathroom type ceiling exhaust fan that was in the laundry room of the house I had just recently bought. A malfunctioning exhaust fan is an odd problem to handle because electricians don't want to deal with duct work or anything they consider HVAC and HVAC people want to work on/replace furnaces or air conditioners not exhaust fans. Through Yelp I found and contacted Travis at Handyman Plus. He made an appointment and showed up right on time. The "broken" exhaust fan was not actually broken it turns out, nor was the switch which seemed to do nothing. It's a type of continuous running whole house exhaust fan unlike anything I had seen before. The wall switch which appeared like it might be broken wasn't it's just the way this fan operates. Travis got me all the information I needed to look up this fan and learn how to use it. A few weeks later I had a medicine cabinet I wanted installed in our master bathroom. As the wall area to be opened also housed the electric line to an outlet I asked Tarvis to do the installation. Again this was a small job, not the scale of work sought by many people in an up economy. Travis made an appointment, texted me when he was on his way and did an excellent job installing my cabinet; without hitting the power line or electrocuting himself. I'm really pleased with the work but more pleased overall with Travis of Handyman Plus. He is professional, thorough, capable and resourceful. I would not hesitate to call him for much larger jobs.
