I hired Jack to completely redo and fix my home in Greeley that was trashed by my renters. He worked on the house for a month and now it looks like a brand new home. Jack showed up in time at every meeting at the house and listened to me carefully, patiently noting down all the repairs I needed him to do at the house. He gave me detailed estimates and invoices for all the repairs. His estimates were close to the final invoices. He also gave me a discount and did several little repairs in the house without charging me extra. He completed all the projects in time and made sure that the home was ready by the date given to him. He regularly communicated with me over texts and emails of all the work that was being done and consulted with me on all the important aspects of the repairs. I totally trusted him with all the decisions and was not disappointed. He worked on the house like it was his own home. I highly recommend Jack and wish him all the best for his business. Thank you Jack for your kindness and for going above and beyond your job description to help me with the house. Truly professional!

Ana Can Help! is the newly-launched housekeeping business of Ana Gómez, a native of Durango Mexico…read morewho recently moved to the Hillsborough area after running her housekeeping business for 15 years in Boulder, Colorado. Ana is what our mothers and grandmothers used to call a real housekeeper. Not a cold "cleaning service" that shows up and does just enough and no more, often sending different people time after time, Ana offers the personal touch. First, if you're lucky, you get Ana herself who is smart, English-speaking, and sunny as a summer day. Second you not only get a clean house or office, but you get extra household services that Ana will do for an hourly fee as an a la carte add to regularly scheduled services: laundry, ironing, shopping, pet-sitting, window washing, cabinet clean out -- you name it and you can add it to your regular cleaning. And as if that were not enough, Ana's husband Erik is a skilled carpenter, plumber and handyman who's as comfortable fixing a leaky faucet as building you a new closet (which he did for us, beautifully). Honestly, I hesitate to put Ana Can Help! here on Yelp. After all, this little dynamo can only have so many clients. If you're smart, you'll get in on the ground floor. Ana Can Help! serves the Hillsborough, Durham and Chapel Hill areas. You can also book her for special event and party clean-up.

I sent photos and Matt said the cost would be $85 per hour for labor plus materials. He estimated it could take up to 4 hours for the job, which we thought was excessive, but agreed to hire him due to the great reviews. He thought alltogether it could run from $350-$400. Being a business owner myself, I assumed he was quoting on the high end but would actually charge me for what he said - labor and materials. The job done by his one man crew was excellent. I must say the quality was great which is why I am giving three stars. However, the guy was at our house for just under three hours. I got a bill for $400. We priced the materials at less than $40. When I asked for a breakdown of the bill, he said it was three hours of time at the home, plus an additional hour to go pick up the materials, which comes to $340 and then exactly $60 for materials. I understand the upcharge on materials since they potentially did not have a 2 x 4 and some plywood on hand (though I find that hard to believe) and had to go get them. But then to upcharge and add an additional hour just so he could charge us on the high end of his quote is poor business practice. I verified this with other companies. He should have explained ahead of time that there would be an automatic one hour charge to pick up materials. I would not use this company again simply because of their poor business practices.
