Working with Mark at On the Fly pet sitting has been so easy and convenient. Mark is incredibly…read moreeasy-going and it is easy to tell that he has a genuine love for animals. I have a 4 month old puppy and a five year old dog who have very different needs. I find watching my puppy pretty challenging sometimes but it is never an issue for Mark! My dogs love his yard and I feel like they are getting their own little vacation when I'm out of town. Another huge plus is the price - I've normally paid around $55 for each dog, but Mark charges $55 for two dogs which is a huge cost saver for me. I highly recommend using Mark's services if you are going out of town and want your dog to be comfortable and happy!

Finding Mark was life-changing! We have always boarded our two dogs at typical boarding facilities…read morewhen traveling and it would be stressful for us, and our pups. We always chose places with video cameras because that was really the only peace of mind that the dogs were doing ok. It was a little depressing watching them sleep most of the day away in their pen, though. Our pups would be so anxious when we'd pick them up. Im so grateful that my husband recently found Mark's business online. Mark boards a couple of dogs at a time in his own home, or if he is booked, he will come to your home for walks/feeding/playtime. We've had him watch our pups both ways and couldn't be happier. He is very loving with our dogs, professional, accommodating and a great communicator - couldn't ask for more!

5+++++! If I could give more than 5 stars to Happy Cat Retreat, I would. Stan is absolutely…read moreamazing! We were evacuated due to the Cameron Peak Fire & Stan made space for our 2 cats immediately. They had never been away from home and I was a basket case worrying about how they would handle this new stressful situation. Stan took the time to text me & send photos and videos of how they were adjusting. Our female is ultra-shy & wouldn't come out of her box. Stan made time every day to talk to her & give her extra strokes. The fact that she let him hold her is testament to his calm & loving personality. We can NEVER repay Stan for the special love & care that he gave our cat kids in our time of need. THANK YOU, Stan! You are a one-in-a-million kind of person!

They were able to squeeze us in at the last minute, despite it being a holiday weekend and booked us for the maximum they had available (5 weeks), and were flexible on us checking out early or finding options for a longer stay if needed. We ended up finding a home and checking out in 3 weeks. They are very sensitive to each cats individual needs and get to know each individual resident. I was able to visit my cats weekly and could tell they were very comfortable with both Stan and Mary. My one cat who had never left our family home since she was fixed at 8 weeks old (about 7 years ago) LOVED Mary and felt very comfortable there, adventuring around the cat room during our visits. My other cat who hates to be touched grew fond of Stan and amazingly let him pick her up and put her in her carrier at check out. I was just thrilled with the care my cats received and the positive mental state they were in every time I saw them. No issues with kennel cough or anything else. All the cats here seem so happy and comfortable. There are a few long-term residents who are always happy to to welcome you and accompany you on a tour. I highly Recommend!

They followed our medication regiment exactly how we asked and they even turned on the music to help the pups be calm during fireworks. You can request hikes for your dog too. BUT. One of my favorite things they did is that on a day that was way too hot for a dog, they chose not to walk our dog. It makes it so easier to vacay when you can trust where your dog stays. 10/10 would recommend here !

I've been doing a bit more business travel lately, which has made the question of what to do with…read moremy dogs (3 standard poodles) a point of stress -- no longer. Creature Comforts is a nice facility in west Loveland, practically in the foothills. Most importantly, it is run by people who love dogs, which was very apparent when I picked my dogs up. Sure, they were happy to see me, but were happy and bright -- they didn't seem stressed at all (and yes, there have been occasions where I've come home to find clingy, seemingly attention-starved dogs when I've picked them up from other boarding facilities in Ft. Collins). Some other nice details: * they have a larger "family" kennel that can accommodate multiple dogs from the same household, so my 3 poodles were able to board together at a very reasonable cost. * The kennels are truly indoor-outdoor kennels so that during the day your dogs have free access in or out -- they are not cooped-up in the kennel the majority of the time as you will find at other kennels that do not have this indoor-outdoor access. * There is a caretaker on-site 24x7 -- with a breed that is prone to bloat (a medical emergency that often occurs in the middle of the night & that has considerable morbidity/mortality if not treated quickly) it is good to know that someone will be there, and that with my pre-authorization they will be taken to a vet to get help. * They will give you dogs medication/supplements at no additional cost -- quite a contrast to the place that not only was going to charge extra for administering meds, but wanted a note from my vet saying that my older poodle was safe to board. * For a very reasonable ($2.50-$3.50) cost, you can set-up short, well-supervised playtimes or walks around the property for your dogs. Having a choice was really nice, since my older dog does need to get out for exercise, but has back and neck issues that make me worry about her playing with other dogs. The younger dogs are rough-and-tumble types, so the playtime was perfect for them. * They keep track of how your dogs are doing. You'll get a little report card when you pick your dogs up with notes on things you might have worried about while you were away -- whether they were eating, how they behaved, whether they played well with other dogs. If you have occasion to talk to the owner, she'll know how your dogs did during their stay, too. * Check-out was very organized -- all of the stuff (beds, blankets, toys, food, medication, etc.) were neatly piled in the lobby when I walked-in to pick up my dogs, washable items having been freshly-laundered.
