Hands down the best fast food burger in Greenville. From what I've heard it is also locally owned which I love. The burgers taste homemade. The garlic Parmesan cheese fries are so yummy.

The inside is great and has nice colors. They greeted us when we came inside and was so nice. The sweet tea, fries, and bacon hip burger was great. They messed up the order a bit, but was great overall. 8/10

$.20c credit for no tomato. Amazing and unexpected.

Everyone deserves a second chance. Was driving by the area and thought I'd give HipBurger another run. Today I went with their best seller - Double HipBurger w/cheese. Fries and Strawberry Shake. First the good news. Look at picture #1. I ordered my burger the way it comes (lettuce, onion, tomato and Hip Sauce) BUT minus the tomato. My bill had a -.20 credit!!!! They took money off my bill because I removed produce. Now that's AMAZING!!! Love it. Kudos. Now, the bad. Last time I got a single, a double and chicken sandwich. I also did it fairly late at night and drove through and ate it in my car. This time it was lunch hour and I went inside to order, sit and eat. Service was quick and friendly. Burger LOOKED solid. Unfortunately, the dry, dry, dry complaint from my last review was simply confirmed. The ugly. The fries, my shining star of the last review (above avg) were horrible. Not hot, not fresh, and take a look at the size/quality of them. Silly little nubs of fries. Lots of brown and shriveled ones. Just blah. Finally the shake. Meh. A little too icy. Not creamy. Inconsistent strawberry flavor. Very glad I was coming home from a business trip because my company paid for this mediocre lunch which ended up in the trash less than half eaten. I wanted to save room for my next meal. Sorry HipBurger lovers. Too many other burgers around. 2nd time is last for me.

I convinced my daughter to stop here and let me try a double cheeseburger even though we'd just finished lunch elsewhere! I normally wouldn't do this; but I had to try one of their highly touted burgers. This is my conclusion: 5 star,5 star, 5 star! This the best one I've ever had! They have no close competition in my area! I love it!

Finally had the chance to visit HipBurger and it was definitely worth the hype! I went around 8:30PM on a Friday night and there was no line in the drive-thru, perfect! I ordered a double cheeseburger (based on the yelp reviews, I heard the single was a little smaller) and man did I make the right decision! It was DELICIOUS! It tasted like the patty just came off the grill and it was so hot I knew it had to be fresh! The bun was sweet, fluffy, and buttery! The toppings were fresh and I loved the hipsauce, next time I am going to ask for heavy sauce. I also had an order of the crinkle fries, they were also hot and fresh but could have use a tad more seasoning. Next time I plan on trying the garlic parm fries I keep reading so much about. I will say, for a burger spot, it is a tad on the pricey side but now i understand why I paid almost $9 for a fast food cheeseburger. Can't wait to come back and try the chicken options! #JassyJEatsApproved

    Double Hip. Delicious.

Great service. Burger prepared as requested. Fresh fries. Quiet and low-key with 80's pop playing.

I've stopped at this burger spot a few times. Mainly because of convenience and not taste. The burgers are good. Puts me in the mind of Wendy's. They have their special sauce which is good. They have various toppings for fries, like melted cheese, bacon and cheese, Parmesan. I've had bacon and cheese and the Parmesan before. They are good as well. Omg, their sweet tea and lemonade drink is always delicious! I've never been inside but it looks decent. Drive thru service has always been great. Never encountered an issue there or with my order.

Nice and simple menu without all the fuss. I like that they open earlier than most burger restaurants. The place is clean and updated. I got the hipburger with bacon and i did the upcharge for the garlic parm fries. I got my daughter the kids nugget and fries and I got my husband a to go chick deluxe and fries. The burger was good. The meat was tender and the bread was very soft. I do agree with people on the fries that it's not crispy at all. It's super soft and squishy. I prefer my fries to be crispy. The kids nuggets were really good. Meaty portions at a good price. The chick deluxe was just ok. I got it go to and by the time I got home, the cheese still wasn't melted and it doesn't even look like real cheese more like kraft cheese but I could be wrong. I do like this place and like that the menu is simple.

Came here because it was close to my hotel while out of town and the menu looked amazing! Let's get into it. Parking - has its own parking lot and a drive through. I didn't go inside just drove through today so nothing crazy. Outside of the place was so cute (see pictures ) Menu: They had assortments of food. From burgers( single , double, triple) , chicken sandwiches, nuggets, fries (cheese, chili , garlic parm and milkshakes! If you ever been to a whatabutger or in in out this is their child (no spicy ketchup tho boooo ) I had the grilled chicken and garlic parmesan crinkle fries. It was amazing. Tasted fresh. Was hot had some type of sauce on the bottom, totally didn't question it. But good. The fries were so good didn't need ketchup but my bag needed all the napkins from the fry greases on the bottom. If I'm ever back in town I would try this place again. Maybe the fried chicken sandwich next (the famous sandwich wars going on we shall see ).

I also ordered the sweet plantains, which are phenomenal! I could certainly understand why people would try the burgers because they look fantastic. The place wasn't packed, but it was fairly busy for the middle of the afternoon which tells me that this place probably does a really good business. Juan Pablo and Julietta were really helpful and friendly. They definitely made the customers feel welcome. Although it is a quick serve restaurant, the ambience is really cool. It does not feel like fast food nor does it taste like that. If you are looking for something that is just a little bit different this might be your place. If someone is not adventurous enough to try the Colombian options, they can definitely order the burgers.

The bun was soft and warm, holding everything together nicely without getting soggy. One of the standouts was the Spicy Ketchup--a must-try! It has just the right amount of kick thanks to the jalapeño, and it took the flavor of the burger up a notch. Definitely a unique and welcome twist compared to standard fast food sauces. Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was clean with plenty of seating. Only reason for not giving a full five stars is that the presentation was a little basic and the burger could've used just a touch more seasoning on the patty itself. I moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1985 and experienced my first Whataburger there on East Gregory…read moreStreet. Which was wonderful, because it was open 24 hours and was right near my favorite bar. Plus I was young. It was there that I experienced the Breakfast Taquito, which was introduced by the chain in 1983. Having moved to Dallas, TX in spring of 1986, I lived one exit up from a Whataburger, which also was convenient. So, the imprint in my head about the Whataburger flavors was pretty ingrained by the time I moved back to the east coast in 1988. Until Whataburger opened here. I have been for lunch a few times, but not for breakfast. And although this WB is very near to my favorite bar, I have given up howling at the moon and late, late night meals. Last week, I had lunch at a different Whataburger in Mauldin and was given a coupon for a free Taquito at any participating WB. But it expired within less than a week. Nevertheless, the seed was planted. I arrived at this WB and decided to order inside for carry out. At 7:56 AM on a Tuesday, I ordered 4 sausage Taquito's to go. There was not another customer in the restaurant nor in the drive through lane, so that was kind of interestingly dead. After placing my order, the two counter staff both disappeared into the kitchen and another customer did walk in, placing an order at the kiosk. What I found interesting was that she came in, was seen as the staff went to the back, but she went into the restroom. They departed the counter. She orders from the kiosk and goes to sit down. Zero interaction happened after that. I received my 4 Taquitos at 8:06 AM with this message: "Sorry for the wait, we like to make these fresh." I'm not sure when this other customer would be acknowledged because I left for work. I say this to point out how impersonable the experience was, especially in comparison to the Chick-Fil-A experience across the street. There, you are greeted multiple times and I believe the food is also made fresh, but it is lickety-split to get in and out of there, including the double drive through lanes. The food - so my benchmark was a fond memory of the sausage and cheese, tender goodness. The size of the Taquito is a bit larger than the McDonald's, but it is $3.69 per vs the McDonald's 2 for $3.00 "sausage burrito." The WB Taquito had a grilled flour tortilla that held a little bit of toasted texture and butter flavor. The filling was not quite as full as I expected, but the most noticeable difference to my memory and expectation was that the sausage was bland instead or savory and slightly hot as I remembered. Thinking that I might have distorted my memory, I looked it up on the internet to see had anyone else noticed a change in flavor over time. Recipes change. Ingredients change. In this case, many agree with me that the sausage has changed from a more round shape and savory to a more square shape and bland. Also, there was less cheese than memory served, where previously there was a savory, gooey umami combination of the former sausage and cheese but now the buttery tortilla was the dominant flavor instead of just being the carrier. I think of the Taquito as a portable breakfast. It is a convenient way to bring a sausage, cheese and scrambled egg breakfast into the car and especially easy to eat while driving. The key to a good breakfast taco is in the balance of the interior filling with the stability of the exterior tortilla. This was balanced toward the tortilla. Knowing WB, though, I bet you can get a double filled Taquito, which might be too much. Or get a plussed up version with a little extra for a charge. Maybe it is that Mandela Effect and my memory is faulty. Or maybe it is related to my hungry memory also mostly involved a good bit of beer drinking and that is behind me these days. Or, maybe they did mess with the sausage and the amount of filling to cut some costs over the years? It was just okay. I bought four, one for myself, three for my coworker children. Total wait time 10 minutes. Total tab $15.94. I'm probably not swinging out of my way to get here for a Taquito, but if convenient, may hit up WB breakfast another time.
