AMAZING! Honestly, I could spend hours here and it still wouldn't be enough. I went in on a Friday night after work and there was only a handful of ppl in the store. LOVED THIS FOR ME. When I shop for anything, I just want to look around without feeling like someone is watching me, wondering why I'm taking so long, and/or asking if I need help over and over again. I love that this was not the case here. I ran into a few workers through out the store with whom I exchanged a smile and head nod but other than that, was left alone while I perused this enormous store. It fits the space perfectly (I am terrible at measuring, so I measured, measured, and measure, then blocked it off with painter's tape, daughter's suggestion). I don't remember the salesman's name, but he was so helpful. We measured, we looked at the various woods, I knew the finish I wanted and the hardware. I did not feel rushed, so I was able to take my time to make the right decisions. I will admit the wait time was hard, I wanted it now. But the wait was so very worth it! The desk is so beautiful, and I am very proud of it and how it makes my home office look. Sitting at my new desk, with things put away, within reach, I feel so much more productive. One nightstand had to be ordered and it matched perfectly. I also ordered four countertop chairs. They were the exact wood and color I chose and the contour seats and back are beautifully made. I looked elsewhere for comparable chairs/stools and felt these were a bargain compared to what I saw. This store is family run and Roy and his son were a pleasure to work with. It did take around three months to get the items I ordered but build time fell with the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays as well as bad weather in the Midwest. Very happy with my purchase.

However, after all that money, and anticipation, one of them was delivered without a power cord (the one with the hassock). The "White Glove" delivery guy advised me to call the Ashley parts department. You would think, at these prices, Ashley would have instituted a Quality Control position there. The two expensive leather power recliner couches I purchased from Haverty's are attractive to look…read moreat but horrible to sit on. There is a huge gap where the seat cushion meets the back cushion that makes both couches extremely uncomfortable and painful on the lower back. The huge gap is present while simply sitting upright or reclining. It's awful and so bad for the back to have a huge open void like that when you're just sitting upright on the couches. The stuffing on the couches and recliner armchair also compresses and leaves dented in areas. But the huge gap is the worst!
