Pretty damn good for a little old local fish and chips spot! They do catering, but I've never tried that service out - I'm just here for some butterfish and chippies when I'm feeling lazy. Prices are nice and cheap, which of course is important when you're talking takeaway food. They do butterfish, garfish, whiting, big juicy prawns, calamari and of course the classic old 'seafood stick'. A pack with fish, chips and tartare is pretty reasonable - $6.50. There is a bunch of standard takeaway salads, essential for washing down the fried foods: Greek, tabouli, coleslaw, garden, pasta, potato. My big thing with fried food is clean, crisp oil, and this place does that well.
The other side to the store is the yiros, burgers, steak sandwiches and hotdogs. I've never tried any of these so I can't offer much advice. Except that some of the more wacky yiros ideas have me a little suspicious - 'Aussie' yiros, 'Hawaiian' yiros and 'Seafood' yiros. Yeah, I dunno.
