4 Star Hotel with 2.5 star comfort. Oof. Thank goodness I got a last-minute deal on Priceline because there's no way I'd be happy paying full price for one of these rooms. Room: No bigger or smaller than any other hotel room anywhere else in the world. The laminate over particle board furniture gave Holiday Inn Express vibes. Beds were barely to a comfortable standard, and the pillows were next to useless to sleep on. I ended up sinking into them so deep that I began snoring according to my fiancée. Bathroom: You're kidding me right? A 4 star Hotel room and it has a tub\shower combo. I've been to Motel 6es with walk in showers. Noise: I hear everything. Footsteps above, beside and below me. No soundproofing has been done. Overall: Its a place to sleep. No 4 star luxury to be found here unless you consider a full valet lot and a restaurant to be worthy of elevating this place to 4 star service. The entire place is in bad need of a face-lift. Everything feels cheap and superficial, surface level luxury if you will. It looks fancy, but doesn't hold up to closer inspection. read more

Run down. You can hear the plumbing in the neighboring rooms which is annoying. But, the bed was comfy and clean. I have never been to a hotel that had mismatched body products... it looked like a Walgreens travel area with a plethora of cheap products that I am willing to bet Paris Hilton would never touch with a 10-ft pole. There was a lounging couch that was stained. I didn't want to sit on it, but my dog was okay with it. I don't know why I expected more from the Hilton brand but it's basically a motel 6 but up a level. read more

I can not express how grateful I am to the entire staff of the Pasadena Hilton who have been hosting us thru a very difficult time on Los Angeles. I wish i had taken down names, but every single employee was so gracious and welcoming. I want to thank also the valet crew who helped me when my battery died to bring in AAA to replace it. The housekeeping staff was very cheerful and un intrusive. The manager checks in with you via text message. I saw many people whose insurance company had placed them here, and they were equally impressed by how the Hilton hosted them, and looked out for their comfort. I also attended some meetings here and the food was terrific. Thank you everyone at the Hilton for being so wonderful to us. read more

The rooms are very nice and clean, the pool is also heated and we stayed until closing which is 10 PM, that's how warm it was. Albert was extremely respectful and nice and when the pool was closed, he let me and my friends jump in one last time. I stopped off for a cocktail after work. Very decent Old Fashion. Price after tax and service charge was $30. I added a tip. I have no complaints, but know what you are getting into, it's rather pricey. I probably won't come here again for a cocktail, but was glad to have supported a bartender's employment. read more

I attended a conference here and asked for an early check-in if possible and a quiet room. I was given a late check-in (6pm) and a loud room. My room was on and facing a busy street and directly adjacent to an ice maker. Twenty minutes after I inquired about checking-in (to assist in preparation for my conference/class) I sat near reception and watched a woman go to a different receptionist and check-in early. This is after the guy I spoke to voluntarily told me again there was no availability. To the guy working reception weekends that obviously (less than a fraction of a second) fake checked room availability - you can workout as much as you like and try to get as large as you can but you will always be unattractive because you most likely suck in many areas of your life which includes your job. read more

I still don't understand why zero stars doesn't exist on this app. I've slept in my car before and that was a better experience than this "hotel". From the second we got here, the very courteous staff.(and I'm not being facetious.) informed me that their system was messed up, and that anybody who booked a hotel room in the last three days was no longer in the system. I did take somewhat offense that they acted like they did me a favor by honoring the reservation that I had in my phone, however because of the delay, we ended up missing our appointment. We understand things happen and made the best of the evening. When we got back, like many people do when they stay in a hotel, we wanted some in room dining. However, we didn't realize that we were also getting an escape room with our hotel because we could not find the menu anywhere and were advised to search for a QR code that ended not being in the room at all. So we called the front desk and asked for a menu and politely they said they will bring one up. Approximately 2 minutes later we get a phone call saying that they were understaffed and that we had to go down five flights of stairs to pick up that menu. When I got on the phone and said that's ridiculous because this is a $600 a night hotel, the "guest services" rep's response was that the kitchen closed 10 minutes earlier, even though three minutes prior the same employee told us to go down and get the menu (and online it says they are open till 11pm (we called at 10:30pm). He then put me on hold for almost 10 minutes and I finally hung up. (We never received a call back) Here's a recommendation, focus less on looking hip and more on treating people like guests and you will probably get more than 3 stars. I would recommend a root canal or prostate exam over this "hotel". read more

I've visited this location many times but this is my first time staying overnight. Check in was easy and didn't take too long. I signed up for Hilton Honors program and received a bag with two water bottles. You can also purchase snacks, food, beverages next the the check-in area. Once I got to the elevator I thought it's pretty run down. It didn't look too clean either. I got 2nd floor and my impressing of this floor wasn't good. Dim light in the hall way/walking area and I was scared because I saw a half naked man in the hallway. I walked the other way and he went inside his room. Turns out my room is next to his, hahaha. The room is good enough for 1-2 people at best. The room looks clean but I wish there's more light toward the closet and the bed. I also found a safety pin on the carpet next to the bed. Thankfully I saw this before stepping on it. I guess the best thing is the shower. It's clean and bright. Water temperature is actually hot. I had an amazing shower after a long day of work. I didn't park here but valet is available on the first floor if you stop by at the entrance. Location is convenient. I won't want to pay over $200/night here. It's good enough but not luxurious. Decent size rooms for business overnight stays. Bathroom showers don't have much water pressure. Not a fan of their sliding bathroom doors that don't fully close properly. Beds on the firm side, pillows have no head support. Gym was clean. Pool was Luke warm, available pool towels. Cozy covered areas to hang out . I had a fairly enjoyable stay at the Hilton in Pasadena (California). I recently stayed here for a week while I was on a business trip, and coming here was a nice change from another hotel I visited during a different business trip to Pasadena. The service was excellent throughout my stay, and the employees here were always pleasant and professional. The hotel is very clean overall, and my room was always kept clean as well. The hotel was also quiet during my stay, and I always felt like I was in a safe environment. My room was on the sixth floor of the hotel, with a nice view. I had two queen-size beds in my room, and they were both very comfortable. I do wish they would have had at least one comfortable chair to sit in while watching TV though. My room also had a small desk, a small refrigerator, a safe, and an iron and ironing board. My room did not have a microwave, which was disappointing. My room also had a small coffeemaker, but I would rather have had free coffee in the lobby that was better quality. The bathroom was very clean, and was well-stocked with a hairdryer and other bathroom necessities. I was also treated rather nicely during my stay, with a few freebies, because I am a Hilton Honors member. Parking here is quite pricey, currently $21 per night, and $23 per night for valet. Although this is ridiculously high in my opinion, high prices for parking seems to be pretty normal in Pasadena. Parking is a little confusing too, and it would be nice if there was more clarity as to where their guests can park because a lot of parking spots in the adjacent structure are for folks that work at businesses nearby (not for guests of the hotel). Overall, I had a nice stay at the Hilton Pasadena, although I will probably consider other options when I'm staying back in the area. read more

Their pool was under maintenance for about a month now and wasn't told until after I paid and checked in, very unfortunate. Also I left my ring in my room and it was never returned I checked out and just one hour after I checked out I called them in a panic and they said I needed to fill out a lost and found report online and "wait" for housekeeping to get back to me. I never received the report so I called 2.5 hours later and they apologized about not sending the link, my situation was obviously not a priority to them. I asked if they could just send someone up to check and they said someone went up already and it wasn't there I asked if the room was already cleaned and they said yes it was already cleaned, so this is very unfortunate that it was not returned. I truly hope and pray a Good Samaritan will return my ring. read more

What a horrible hotel. The first room we stayed in was smelly and the fridge made a noise. We changed rooms in the middle of the night. The hotel advertised valet parking but when we arrived late at night the parking was full and we had to use public parking. The rooms are dark and depressing with inadequate light. The room was cold and heat would not go on. It looks like there is friable asbestos in the ceiling. Worst Hilton I have ever stayed at. Better a MOTEL 6 than this place. Staff are plesant but poorly trained. How could Hilton operate this hotel withoutout a major PIP. It disgraces the name. read more

I'm sad to see this hotel has a 3.ish rating. It was a great stay here and very central to old town Pasadena and wonderful brunch spots within walking distance. My friends live in the area and I met them Multiple times just walking to places during the day or taking a really cheap lyft at night to get anywhere (outside of Hollywood or normal La dowtown). I only give a 4/5 because almost every other Hilton I've stayed at post or pre pandemic offered govt package for free breakfast packages. This location had b/l/d service but no credit for any plan that I could find online when I booked. AND very small stand in showers with no tub in the room (which I prefer but if a small shower there should be a tub somewhere, if a Big ass shower, no tub is great) I felt like I was showering with my shoulders shrunk down in their shower I'm not even that big. Maybe footballish shoulders that makes plane seats feel small me shrinking my shoulder blades in the window side corner or dangling in the aisle.....but not your shower in the morning. However, I'm currently staying at a San Diego King suite exactly similar at SD/mission, that was identical in reservation I made weeks apart when I made my vacation plans, and they offer every deal for govt and veteran workers. I'm actually shocked Pasadena doesn't have bonus plans to help/serve/encourage state and veteran employees right now. But, staff was incredible and friendly. Very helpful in directions when you think you'll be lost or things in LA that have the same name! (Lol street vs avenue.) Whatever this staff has you covered. This hotel was great. read more

We recently stayed at the Hilton Pasadena for a conference. The hotel is about two blocks down/two blocks over from the convention center. It was very convenient to walk and also near many restaurants and a mall with H & M, gift shops, a movie theater, Bath & Bodywork's and Tommy Bahamas. The staff was super friendly from the check-in, to restaurant servers and housekeeping. We didn't have a car but there was valet. There is a small "market" with beverages and snacks. The "Corner Market" located inside has breakfast and happy hour and drinks until 11 pm. We had a kind room with a view over a parking lot and Pasadena. The pillows are great, the mattress comfortable as well. The bathroom was adequate but a little tight for the two of us getting ready in the morning. I would give this hotel a FIVE star due to location, guest services, sparkling clean, and comfort along with the on-site restaurant! read more

The rooms were nice however the management needs serious improvement along with Hilton main customer service line. I was moved to this hotel because the Doubletree Monrovia had bed bugs, so they gave me a letter to give to Hilton Pasadena so that they would pay my entire stay including the valet parking. I notice my credit card was charged 3 weeks later for $25 for the parking and when I contacted Hilton representatives they agreed that they have the same receipt for $0 for parking that was sent to me when I departed. They called the manager at the Hilton Pasadena and they told them that it was not true and only for room. It gets better- I took a picture of the letter that clearly says parking is included and Doubletree will pay for it. I told it to the rep and he told me to send it to him. I sent the document and then 3 days later I get an email form Hilton Corp that they don't have any information on the claim, you know the one that was just opened!! Seriously Hilton your service is going downhill. I had to write an email reply explaining how my anniversary was ruined because not only that I found bedbugs but when they sent me over to the Hilton pasadena it was for one day and then I had to return back to the doubletree??? I should have gotten a full refund for the time wasted with moving back and forth. The banquet food was delicious, the dessert was just amazing with 3 pieces of sweet cakes! I've stayed at this hotel twice for short stays, one overnight and one for 4 nights. Bed is super comfortable, TV was nice and big, rooms are very clean and modern but dark. I needed to work from the room and it was a bit dark for that even with the window open and all the lights on. Front desk staff was SUPER friendly and gracious, even accommodating me with a room upgrade when I checked in a bit earlier than expected. But the shower had NO water pressure at all - worst hotel shower I've seen. I assume it was the low flow showerhead. Walls are very thin so I could hear every bump, loud conversations and vacuuming above and next to the room. I could also smell cig smoke through the vents at certain times :( Doordash will deliver to your room, no problem. Parking is in a garage behind the hotel and it's a little creepy to walk there at night (but Pasadena is safe, no worries). Parking price seemed high for what it was. But the location is great - easy to walk to Paseo Colorado with a Starbucks and several restaurants. Not exactly a 4 star experience but a solid 3.5. If I had paid full price for the room, I'd have been very disappointed. read more

I've been staying here for the last two months and every time has been a good experience except for today. They put me on the second floor. As I write this I can hear my neighbor's shower and mind you there is a joining door between our rooms. I personally think that it looks low class and belongs in a motel. I dont feel comfortable with this. It's also a bit noisy because the lobby is right downstairs. Besides this, all other stays have been great. Hotel is clean, valet service, convention area and they have a bar right in the lobby...the vibe is cool. I'll start off my review like everyone else... "I've stayed in five star hotels all around the world..." Lol. Anyway, this Hilton property deserves FIVE STARS for my weekend visit. A calming design color palette, newly renovated rooms, that were very clean, a sparkling pool. I can give accolades all day. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all patient and friendly. It was nice to visit this side of the property, as I used to work in the attached business office building. The parking lot is still the same. Haha. I just might make this my home away from home when I want to get away, but not go too far. read more

I generally do not have high expectations for hotels. If they can meet the bare minimum of providing a clean premise with suitable conditions for a hotel room, I am okay. While it was impressive to see the sealed sticker on the door implying that proper sanitation precautions had been taken to prepare the room, I still found it pretty underwhelming that a Hilton hotel with its presentable and beautiful area to have a subpar parking structure. When I entered the structure on the side street, there was a sign that suggested we keep the parking pass to have on our way out the next day. I drove through the first and second floors to realize that those were reserved spots for particular people. The second floor led the way to the lobby with a clear sign, lighting, plants for the presentation and an overall clean, classy look. I was shocked to arrive to the third floor where there were spots for visitors but an unfinished elevator door and a dirty stairway with a doorknob entry that I couldn't touch without a disinfecting wipe. It's about presentation sometimes, and the hotel failed. Even more confusing was the fact that we left the hotel and there was no attendant taking our tickets. I understand that we're paying to park in the structure overnight but I still found it inconsistent and unworthy because of the lack cleanliness and organization for the visitors. What about those who cannot walk as comfortably down a flight of stairs and depend on elevators? Another suggestion I would make would be to add clear signs to the lobby. The ballroom is the first room that you walk into (if I'm not mistaken) and we had to do some searching until we found the front desk. Hope my review can be taken as advice to better their presentation. The location itself is wonderful and it has great potential. read more

Overall, completely disorganized- confirmation number would not show I had a room online prior to coming, upon check in said room was ready but then had bellhop go double check physically, charged me 4 nights of valet even though only had one car for one night (valet had some other random keys with my name and room number on them), texted me that the card on file expired but when I went down they said it wasn't expired, couldn't figure out how to charge my card for check out and had to make multiple transactions. Other friends of mine staying in hotel also had fair share of issues. Room was also not very nice. Would not stay here again. read more

The rooms are exceptionally clean and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is located within walking distance of the Paseo colorado and other good places to go eat or shop. Decided to do a mini bday vaca for the boyfriend. We picked this place, since it was close to downtown area but you still need to drive to get to it. We booked the hotel online, which was easy and did early check in via phone. Our room was ready when we got there so walked on up and got right in. We got the king deluxe room with a full balcony, that overlooked the roof and the city skyline. The room was good size, with a small couch and desk with chair inside. Tv mounted on the wall. Bathroom was nice to have an updated shower instead of a tub. Everything about our room was good, we even had a mini fridge which was nice so we can keep our drinks cold. The only thing about this hotel is they charge you for parking. We decided to just valet it, since it was a few bucks more. Besides already paying a pretty penny for the room, the last thing I wanted to do was pay for parking at the hotel I was staying at. read more

When visiting the valley or surrounding area... There isn't any other place I would ever consider staying than at the Hilton in Pasadena. It's the peace of mind for me. From trusting the valet agents to safely park my modified Raptor to the ambience at the bar to the comfortable bed. I don't ever worry about anything like I would staying at other hotels that will remain nameless. Management is always on top of their game and everyone and everything is organized. The agents at the front desk are always welcoming and helpful. The bar and dining options here are excellent. It's very accommodating to large groups of working professionals as well. I've never had an issue or the slightest complaint when staying here. I consider it a home away from home. read more

This Hilton is palace compare to them !!!! Rooms are really renovated. Good shower and good water stream. Shower was classic. Not in bathtub that most hotels has. I hate bathtub shower!!!!!!! This Hilton has normal shower, I was pleasantly surprised! Room had a great view on Downtown Pasadena. TV worked! Breakfast buffet was great! Fresh food, tasty croissants, requested 2 sunny side eggs for me and 2 for hubby. Berries was good even tho it was probably frozen but tasted really good. It's not the most beautiful Hilton in the world, but if you're staying in Pasadena, it's one of the best options. Here are a couple of highlights: The pool atmosphere is meh, but it's a large size for comparable hotels in this area, and best of all, it's HEATED (and really heated! not like some of the other places I've been around here...looking at you, Sheraton) The staff is fantastic...friendly and attentive. Very responsive to food requests at their restaurant (I even had to send something back twice because of a miscommunication re: 2 separate allergies...they re-made it twice without question, and promptly) Also, I had to call down to the front desk about someone playing their music at Rave-levels at 3am...within fifteen minutes the volume was reduced and I could get back to sleep. Walkable central location...it's very close to the Paseo, but easily walkable to Old Town or Lake Ave. I know this review sounds more like a 4-star, but I'm giving it a bump because of the great staff. read more

We checked in here at 4 am on a Saturday morning due to a maintenance emergency in our apartment. We got a room on the 12th floor and found it to be clean and nicely updated with a walk in shower and hard floors in the entryway. It did the job and Hilton's policy of allowing us to be considered an early check in for Saturday rather than a late check in Friday night was helpful in our situation. A few cons: - It's valet only and the valet is a bit of a mess when they're busy - The rooms are equipped with the eco friendly toilets that allow you to select how much water to flush. We found that both times we used the low water option, the room ended up smelling like sewer shortly after. And yes we followed the guidelines - Sunday morning there was an EXTREMELY loud gathering of some kind. It may have been a nearby religious gathering as it included a lot of super loud chanting and yelling. This lasted from 7:00-8:00 am. So much for sleeping in. One final note, before valet parking and the early check in fee, the room and tax was well over $300. I'm not sure if it's usually this high or if we were charged a premium because of the large wedding they hosted Saturday night, but we found this price to be pretty out of line for a middle of the road Hilton hotel. To their credit, we were in an emergency situation and they provided the best option for our needs. read more

Before COVID, this hotel was my home away from home for work travel. Back then the restaurant and bar staff was a regular part of my experience. Fernando, Humberto, and Lisa were always so friendly and always made me feel right at home. I hope when allowed they all are able to return. The COVID update is that the hotel is clean and feels quite safe. You can now self park at the hotel. There is no room service and no cleaning of your room unless you ask for it and give them a three hour min. window to make it happen. (Which I think is great.) They have packaged food and beverage options (including beer and wine!) adjacent to the main registration desk and a microwave to heat things up. If you need a place to stay and feel safe during COVID times I think the Hilton Pasadena is a great option. read more

Ummm not mine it was Soo dusty now that made me think if they cant even clean the phone?...
