Nice location near Milano Centrale although it is a walk from the Centro Storico where the must see attractions are located. We were upgraded to a larger room which came with a king bed. The room was recently refurbished but there were minor issues like the bathroom door lock being on the outside of the door. The executive lounge and breakfast offerings were quite extensive and there was plenty to choose from. On site bar was okay but not great. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. read more

Great location, good food, unfortunately it's not safe. My wife and I came here on our honeymoon. We hid our emergency cash in my suitcase which we planned to exchange for euros after a quick brunch and walk around town. Left a do not disturb sign on the door and left briefly. Came back to the room to no cash and no help from the front desk. I understand that people can claim that money was stolen and that they have to protect themselves, but being told to wait 2 days for an internal investigation or call the police is very unhelpful for honeymooners that will be much worse off without our cash! If you come here, hide your money better than we did or go card-only I guess. Don't expect much from management if something goes wrong. Update: was told by front desk that I "must watch too much TV" and it was insinuated that I'm trying to scam them. No offer to make things right in the slightest and no support of any kind. Never got to speak with a manager either, which seems appropriate in a case like this. Avoid this place if you want a hassle-free trip. read more

I arrived here from San Siro and was disappointed when they did not have a parking lot/garage. I had to use a 3rd party garage that had a bunch of tiny parking spaces. Fortunately, I was able to drop my bags off before I went to hunt for a spot. The check-in counter had a long line but was able to check-in after about 15 minutes. My room was ready and we arrived to a smallish room. The room had a safe, refrigerator and a hair dryer. The WiFi worked good and the room was air conditioned. On two occasions, I smelled cigarette smoke and my eyes started burning. Somehow smoke was migrating to our room. I notified the front desk but no action was taken. This place is not walking distance to the city center but the Milan Central station is a five minute walk. There is a subway ride to the Duomo that costs 4 Euro and is only a ten minute ride. Located within a walking distance from the Milano Central station, not a bad place to stay for one night. They have an executive lounge but since I arrived very late, I didn't get a chance to check it out. As a diamond member, I had a choice of regular restaurant or lounge for breakfast and I was recommended to try their regular restaurant. I think they have lots of Chinese customers here as I saw several Chinese food at breakfast buffet. Room wasn't that big. Adequate for one night. I really could care less for two twin beds in my room. I can't sleep in the middle, just had to pick a side. Typical European style... I woke up with several mosquito bites in the morning and when I mentioned to the hotel staff, they acknowledged but only said it is the time of the year... read more

As a Hilton Diamond member, I spent my points for a free night here and was upgraded to a huge suite. The room exceeded my expectations and the delivery of my Hhonors benefits was top notch. My room was on the Executive Floor right across from the Executive Lounge. The lounge serves a complimentary breakfast daily and has a happy hour with light snacks and liquor (including beer, wine, and prosecco) in the evenings. One the best things about Hilton hotels in Europe is the way they treat loyal customers to the brand -- U.S. based properties could learn a thing or two. The room was modern and very comfortable, with a tiny balcony and windows that opened wide. The bed was one of the best I slept on during my entire two week trip throughout Italy and France. The linens were high quality and there were plenty of pillows. The bathroom was also modern but on a small side, but the spaciousness of my suite made up for it. I had an in-room mini refrigerator, large desk and workspace, and a sofa. It felt like an apartment. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming, with good multilingual skills. Check-in was a little slow but it was because a large group of flight crews had just arrived via taxi and they all had individual rooms that required multiple check-ins. The common areas of the hotel were clean and well maintained, even if they looked a bit dated. Milano Centrale (the main train station) is less than a block and a half away and a is less than 10 minute walk by foot, making this an excellent location if you have an early train to catch. I was very pleased with this Hilton and would stay here again in a heartbeat. read more

$1,000 mistake. I put in my arrival date incorrectly on my internet reservation. When I realized my mistake, I IMMEDIATELY called the hotel to correct the mistake and they told me to shove it up my a**, that they were keeping my $1,000 and I could take my 75,000 Hilton Honors points and shove those up my a** as well. I called Hilton corporate and they told me that the Milan Hilton told them to F*** off. So I paid $1,000 for a very expensive lesson. NEVER STAY AT A HILTON. read more

Having been to Milan previously, we decided to use the city as our staring point and a transit point for the rest of our trip. As such, we decided to stay at the Hilton, as it is within walking distance to the central train station. As Hilton Gold members, we were upgraded to a nice room, and had access to the lounge club... and our choice of breakfast at the lounge or in the main dining room. The hotel is decorated nicely and the staff was friendly and attentive. After checking in, we settled into our room for a few minutes before heading to the lounge. The room itself was nice and spacious, and had a few different seating options. The toiletries are standard Hilton brand (Peter Thomas Roth), and the room had a kettle and tea bags... which was great. We also really enjoyed having a balcony. The lounge is not huge, but there was plenty of seating and an array of snacks throughout the day. It also offered soft drinks, water and a coffee and tea machine. They also provided wine and beer at certain hours. We opted for breakfast in the main dining room, which was a great choice. Unfortunately my wife wasn't feeling well... and while I was having something to eat, I ended up having a conversation with Stefano (the manager). Without even asking, he sent up a whole tray of breakfast to the room (as part of our complimentary breakfast). This was an amazing gesture and truly unexpected. Hotel pricing was also very reasonable. If we are in Milan again, I would not hesitate to stay here. read more

The check-in process was not good. One person working while another seemed to scurry back and forth for something. It took much longer than it should. The room was large though it needed updating and a thorough steam cleaning. The carpet had seem better days. There is a safe in the room which didn't work and when we called to have it fixed they took care of it. The person who fixed it reeked of smoke. As a Hilton Honors diamond member we were granted access to the Executive lounge. It was great, stocked with goodies and the service was excellent. The concierge, who was working when we checked in, was not pleasant. We asked about parking and he gave directions to the parking (which is not owned/managed by the Hilton) very quickly. When we repeated it back he gave a frustrated look and gave us a map and wrote it out. Overall a less than positive experience for the Hilton brand. read more

What helped us select this hotel was the proximity to the Centrale train station and we are fans of Hilton. Our room is a very nice suite with lots of space, especially for a European hotel. The food has been excellent at all 3 restaurants. The executive lounge has all you can eat and drink (unlimited wine with many choices + soft & alcohol drinks)from 6-8pm. The breakfast buffet was very complete with bacon, eggs, fruit, pastries and Lavassa coffee. The hotel restaurant was excellent, I had a breaded Veal chop that was a 10/10, my wife enjoyed her risotto. The service at Hilton Milan was also 10/10. Any request that we made was taken care immediately. When we checked into the room,it smelled of cigarette smoke, they had no similar rooms available, but they brought an "ionizer?" that cleared the smell while we were enjoying the free executive lounge. Taxis have been readily available outside the lobby and the taxi prices have been cheaper than UBER. We are usually hard to please, but Hilton Milan has lived up to our expectations. I think the rating for this hotel is a bit on the low side, so let me right the wrong with some pictures of food. The complimentary sweets are a nice welcome gift, and the offering for room service is not too bad either. I wouldn't call it cheap, but it's definitely of great quality, with always fresh ingredients. I enjoy coming back to this hotel every time, not only for the proximity to Centrale. I agree that you only truly take advantage of the perks with status, but when you do, life is good. I quite enjoy the Executive Lounge, and the complimentary buffet is top notch. Freshly squeezed orange juice and cooked on the spot omelets are a great way to start the day. And to burn it all down, the gym has all you need to avoid the "do you even lift?" type of looks. Finally, the laundry service is far from being cheap, but the results are impressive, your shirts come back smoother than new. In all fairness, I've had a couple of mishaps here and there. One time I felt I was vicariously smoking my neighbor's cigarettes, and another time the phone was not working (when you really feel lazy and can't move a finger to order food). The courtesy of the guys at the desk more than offsets the few off incidents, and again, you can't beat the location. In five minutes you're on a train or subway to virtually any direction you want, and taxis are everywhere. I feel like giving it 5 stars to bring the overall rating to a fair 4 stars. I think the primary reason to stay here is due to the location right by the train station. The neighborhood is a little dead at night but a short walk will get you closer to the action. Thanks to HIlton Honors, we had a beautiful suite with a huge bathroom. Plus, the room service meal we enjoyed was truly quite good after all-day train ride. Nice enough hotel. Took a bit to check in. Air crews using honors check in. I was told being a diamond member I got an upgrade. I didn't. Cold ac in room. Comfy bed and pillows. Noisy outside and I was on 7th floor. Lounge was decent. They let too many guests in so cheap families were in there with 4-5 guests each trying to make dinner out of snacks and free beer and wine. I usually stay at Hilton hotels because I am a "Gold" member because I stay a lot when I travel. I told to myself that I would never stay at one again because of this experience. Not only did they not have my reservation, I had to wait 1 hour for my room to "be ready". Once my room was ready I went up to the room, and It smelled like rotten eggs. So I called the front desk so someone can check it. After they checked it, they changed my room to the room above. The new room was fine, and I did not have a problem ...yet... So I went along with my day, went to bed that night, and woke up to ants, yes i said ANTS in my sheets. Again called and complaint, got a new room, and got a dirty room... Yellow toilet paper, Klennex on the bed, and wet sheets.... I was to disgusted to even stay, I have asked for my money back, and got nothing back. I ended my Milan trip then in there. I do not suggest this place to anyone, and spend the money somewhere else. read more

This was a nice hotel .5 miles from the tran station so you could arrive to the hotel within a 10 minute walk. Can we say awesome! Rooms are average and the breakfast was decent. We went about 30 minutes before they were closing down and mostly everything was gone. They also ran out of syrup for waffles. Nonetheless the room met our needs, was clean and comfortable. I've been to better hotels... But I've definitely been to worse hotels as well ! I loved my stay at the Hilton because it's so conveniently located, close to the train station. But also because of the spot-on service with added benefits (the Professional Concierge with his Italian comedy act, etc.). The rooms were nice, but perhaps a little small. I loved the anti-fog mirror in the bathroom ! I wouldn't put 5 stars here, for 2 reasons: the Executive Lounge was great, but the waiter kept making noise in the background while we were attending a conference call on the terrace. Also, paying an extra 20€ per day to get a wi-fi connection in my room is still hard to digest for me, after going to many hotels where it was free. But that wouldn't prevent me from coming back ! read more

I would not book here. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Insensitive Management. My fiancee's grandmother fell critically ill and was hospitalized in a Intensive Care Unit. We explained the situation via Agoda to Hilton Milan, providing proof, but they refused to provide refunds, credits, or offer anything at all (including a message of sympathy). I cannot speak to the quality of accomodation here, but I can share regarding the insensitivity of management and unprofessional service and dealings of their customer service. This Hilton was perfect for us! An easy walk to the Milano Centrale train station and subway system, with elevators for handicapped travelers. Our room was great, with very comfortable bed and nice walk-in shower. The included daily breakfast buffet was huge and excellent. We especially enjoyed the numerous free cappuccinos. We have stayed at this Hilton because of its proximity to the Milano Centrale train station, it was a 10 minute walk. This Hilton is an older property but it's still clean and rooms are bigger, executive lounge is not as good but it's still convenient with a rooftop area to see out , but nothing fancy, the breakfast was great, all in all very satisfied and would recommend when in Milan , the hop off hop on bus tour stop is across the train station and we purchased the tickets from the lobby. We ate at the lobby restaurant which we normally do at every stay at the Hilton mainly because from our experiences they always have the local dish on their menu and sometime we don't get the chance to try a local place due to our busy schedules and they are always pet friendly. Finding a great hotel overseas can be a challenge. This is a nice hotel at a reasonable price and breakfast is included. The location is close to the central train station but plan at least one hour drive from either airport--LIN or MXP. Taxi from airport to hotel (MXP) was $116 or just over 100€. The shopping district and Duomo are about 30 min walk from hotel but I recommend train or taxi. Staff is very helpful and friendly and hotel is kept clean. Would recommend staying if in town to sight see or shop. read more

This hotel is definitely rated below where it should be - I am giving it five stars instead of four because the ranking is so out of whack. I was weirded out by the reviews before I got here, but my experience has been positive. The room is very nice and HUGE (executive king suite). I got the room using points, and for 41,000 points, I thought it was a pretty good deal. I am a gold member, so wi-fi is free for me (I agree that it would be annoying to pay for wi-fi). The breakfast at the executive lounge was ok - nothing to write home about, but hey, it was free, and (!) there was a cappuccino machine. Free Wall Street Journal delivered to your door. The neighborhood is a little dead, but it is by the train station (easy bus shuttles to the airports), and it is a very short ride to the Duomo by metro. Our room came with nice bathrobes and very soft slippers. I think the only thing that didn't work was the light on the makeup mirror. The only other strange thing is that I got a $35 charge as soon as I checked in - perhaps as a deposit? - which has never happened, to my knowledge, when I have stayed at a Hilton using points. I wonder if there have been problems in the past at the hotel because there were multiple forms in the room from Hilton asking for feedback ("If you're not satisfied with your stay, let us know and we'll make it right"). Also, I am not really sure about the adapter comment - my adaptors worked fine. The staff were friendly. The person who checked me in was very kind, and when my husband checked in an hour or so after me, she remembered who I was and welcomed him warmly as well. A good hotel with nice amenities. I would give it four stars simply because it was not life-changing, but again, I am giving it five to raise the average closer to where it should be. read more

Stayed during fashion week so it was chaotic and expensive. The room was fine but be aware- this hotel Is FAR from the airport. My fault- I didn't realize when booking. You are close to the train station and there are buses to the airport regularly, but know that it's a hike. Although I would give the hotel four stars, I would give five stars to the staff- Fabio in particular. He went above and beyond to fix what was ultimately my mistake. He is definitely an asset to the company. One of the other gentlemen at the front desk gave me a great restaurant recommendation. This Hilton was perfect for us! Very close to the Milano Centrale train station. Our room was lovely. We were on the Executive floor. The lounge was wonderful. We had a good hearty breakfast every morning - a great start to our days. Happy hour with wine and a light dinner. Lots of cold drinks and an espresso machine. Even my picky teens were happy. Our room was enormous. Way bigger than I'd ever have expected. Bed was very comfortable. The only downside to the room was a small bathroom. Disappointing on many fronts. I would not suggest this hotel for business travel. The room only had one outlet that could use an adaptor. The Wifi cost 20 Euro's per day unless you are a Gold or Platinum level member. I am a Silver level member which got me zero. The hallway carpet of our floor was very dirty and the walls really beaten up. Essentially, the hallway was not cleaned or maintained. There is no valet parking and the nearby garage does not accept credit cards. The coffee in the restaurant tasted burnt. This simply does not appear to be a well run property. read more

Bit disappointing. Everything is clean and modern but rooms are small - almost oppressively so. The staff are rather snooty and stuffy. Maybe they don't get enough tips. The hotel is clearly designed for business people travelling on their own but wanting a decent size bed but they probably would have done better to make the bedroom a bit bigger and settle for a smaller bathroom with a shower rather than a full size bath. Plenty of tv channels, wifi which was free (I think). Couldn't face the standard hotel breakfast so we jumped on the tube and ate breakfast at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II instead - much pleasanter. read more

This time they did not upgrade me I still didn't get access to the lounge. Service is bad you call the front desk you're going to wait the better half of an hour before anyone answets.
