    The fun windows!

Such a great hotel! Beds are spot on, showers are glorious, and it was the perfect overnight before we catch the train to Cinque Terre. So glad we stayed here instead of by the airport because restaurants near by were so yummy and easy and it is a simple walk to the Duomo in the AM.

I consider myself very lucky to have stayed here during Salone del Mobile. The hotel has very contemporary and cosmopolitan design- the only complaint is that you can see the same concept anywhere in the world in the slightly upscale and modern places in big metropolitan cities. It may be comforting to some, to us, as hotel designers and guests, we were lacking more energy, meaningful art and local context. I really enjoyed coming back to the hotel to happy hour when the lobby area by the bar had some trays with complimentary little appetizer bits and bartenders could mix you up a really good cocktail. Cudos to bartenders- I saw them at work, and they do amazing job. I saw some classic cocktail they prepared with care for other patrons and I was truly impressed by their craft. They were not those trendy ones, but the classic ones, that are butchered and overlooked in other places. My favorite has become campari spritz with proesecco and candied grapfruit served in a wine glass with a straw. We were also truly impressed by breakfast buffet. You really could get your money's worth for 14 Euros: eggs, hot meats, cold meats, salmon, cheeses, yogurts, fruits, pickles, wonderful fresh breads and pastries, juices and coffee. All in huge variety and excellent quality. As far as rooms go, we were really pleased again. The rooms were on the small side, but very nicely designed, to the very last inch, with closet and all kinds of storage. All lighting was wired by the wall switches and here comes the only complaint- the lamps very plentiful and thoughtful, but it was hard to remember which switch powers them off, so we ended up clicking on different switches blindly until desired lamp went off. Perhaps a little legend for guests would be helpful? Overall I would really look forward to staying here again when in Milano- the location is short cab ride away from the Duomo area, or short walk to the metro station to get to other places.

This review is for the rooftop bar only, as I did not stay at the hotel. However, the front desk staff were very kind and helpful in steering me to the roof bar, even though it was closed. There, you can get one of the best views in all of Milan, and a drink should you desire. VERY nice space with outstanding views!

Their coffee is offensive to all of Italy. Completely unremarkable food that isn't worth the price. -For how big the room was, the shower was SO small. The handle was insanely temperamental and it's a few centimeters between getting burned to death or frozen. Overall I would not stay here again or recommend it.

Cold room in the winter The max temp the room can go is 24C when we called them to increase the temp they just said No! rudely. The room is cold even during the day and not needed to say coldest at night. I come from the US, and among all the hotels I went, this is the coldest among all!!! 2. Unfunctional radiator The radiator which warms the room is behind the curtains to when you close thecurtains at night, the warm weather would go outide. So cold nights!! Useless!!! 3. 2 twin beds sold as king bed They charged us for king bed when they put 2 twin beds next to each other. You cant even sleep in the middle as it is so uncomfortable. 4. Small sized trash cans We could not even find the rooms's trash can at first so small can under the table and dont let me start on the can they put at the bathroom sooo tiny.

After the onboatd announcement, two days before disembarkation, we quickly moved to reschedule our stop in Bologna. We decided to go to Milan as it was unaffected by the storm. We found two rooms in this moderately priced hotel in the Greco area north of the city, a residential area. Nice property with a lovely courtyard and a good breakfast buffet. Our first night, we awke to a malodorous smell resulting in difficulty breathing and burning eyes. We rushed out of the room, and my daughter ran to the lobby to alert the night manager. He was skeptical until he opened the door and was overcome by the smell. It turned out to be a leak in the refrigerator. Had we not awakened, the situation could have been deadly. The manager opened the window and assisted in moving our belongings to another room. After rinsing our face and eyes, we three settled into our new room for a few hours of sleep. One might think, the hotel would offer a reparation for the situation, but there was none. Certainly, a complaint to IH Hotels will be forthcoming. 71

The room had a huge wet stain that smelled of animal pee and mold right at the entrance. There was obvious water damage on the ceiling. We asked the desk and they sent someone to clean the spot which made absolutely no difference. Way overpriced for such a terrible hotel room.

When I called they would turn it back on. The bathroom had a good amount of space and was in perfect condition. There wasn't much noise. There are a few restaurants nearby. We even found a Peruvian restaurant within a 10 minute walk. Overall it was a great stay. I didn't much like the food at their restaurant but their breakfast buffet was pretty good.

The staff are really good especially the host at the restaurant. Yes, the hotel restaurant and bar staff is really great with awesome customer service. We had a family dinner here and he gave the most utmost attention not just to us but to every customer thay dined in. The best part he did it alone. Food didn't disappoint either, compliment to the chef anf kitchen staff. Since we have a big party, the chef gave us complimentary dessert and coffee service. I will give a 4 star if they could renovate the interior, other than that our stay was great thanks to the awesome Hotel Staff.

When we arrived, our room wasn't ready yet since we had arrived early for checkin, so we had to wait a bit. We were pretty hungry at that point, and since our room wasn't ready, the app for ordering food wasn't working for us. But the guest relations team stepped in, took our order personally, and made sure the food was delivered right after we got into our room. Honestly, they couldn't have handled it better. The location is also great, with a beautiful view of Milano Centrale station. Without doing any research, we were able to hop on the airport shuttle and get dropped off just two minutes from the hotel, which was incredibly convenient. Breakfast was amazing too. They even had a DIY juicer, which I loved so much I actually wanted one for my home. I'm not even a dessert person, but I tried the pastries and they were so good. Upon arrival they took our luggage and check-in was an easy process. The benefits came with a free room upgrade so we decided to wait for a two twin room. We arrived around noon and left to explore. When we came back around 4pm, our room still wasn't ready so we went to their spa. They did send our luggage to the room though. Their spa is absolutely amazing. You already have access to the facilities if you're staying there. They were closing them December 1-10 for maintenance so we were only able to enjoy them for November 30th, but still used the facilities to the fullest. We booked two massages too. My favorite was the salt room. They also had a pool, saunas, and steam rooms. The privacy was next level, it felt like we had the whole space to ourselves. I also loved the abundance of snacks and water. I booked the relaxing massage and had an incredible experience. If you have time, I highly recommend a massage here. As for the room, it was huge. It was very "modern" 90s. The light switches weren't intuitive. I loved the bathroom! It was also very spacious. We had a courtyard room (Room 342) so it sorta felt like we had a room with no windows based on where the window was placed. The beds were fine. We made the most of the room and enjoyed our stay. The complimentary breakfast was phenomenal! There was a HUGE variety of choices for all types of breakfast from sweet to savory to all around the world foods. We adored breakfast. We ordered our coffees (love that they had non-dairy options) and then enjoyed the buffet. The hotel was so charming during our stay, not only because the incredible staff, but because they had all their Christmas decorations out. The tree at the lobby was so beautiful (someone had a photoshoot in front of it). I'd recommend staying here for a night.
