Stopped by to see if they could open the side doors on my van that'd been stuck closed for a week. Eric (Weaves) came outside to check it out, went back in for some tools, and not only popped it open in a few seconds, but fixed it right there in minutes! Then he explained why it was happening and how to keep it from happening again. I asked how much do I owe him and he said nothing. My mouth dropped. All that for just some good will? Wow. I remember people used to do that years ago, but who does that now? Apparently this business does. I was so impressed that I started to ask about a couple other things I'd like to get done to the van, but he said they were booked out 'til August (It's mid-June now), so I'll get the pressing things done now and save the others to contact them later this year or early next when I have time to deal with it again. These folks at the Marble Falls facility took care of my Prius and they did a great job. Of course, the damage was more extensive than I expected but they took the time to explain the why(s) and whatfore(s) of every single line item and there were no surprises. These folks have repaired my vehicles numerous times over the years. We have always been satisfied with their performance an communications. I recently took my insurance agency recommendation for a small repair on one of my vehicles and was disappointed. They had trouble predicting when it would be ready. But I got it finally and the repair was done ok. They missed a tail light bulb that needed replacing. Hillcountry will get my business from now on. If I could give zero stars I would. Had my car for hail repair for 2.5 months. Told me they couldn't get to it for two weeks when dropped off and that's fine but 2.5 months. Never any contact on their part, I had to call for any updates. Owner is extremely rude. Insulted me personally because I was unhappy with the service. When I did get my car back the back window did not have any tint like it should have. Now have to take it back in to get the tint on. Absolute worst customer service ever. If you are on the fence about where to take you car to get it repaired- GO HERE! I cannot say enough good things about them. They completed the estimate for work completely and thoroughly. They went so far as to call my insurance themselves on my behalf. (my insurance wanted me to use their preferred shop). The work was done on my car in a shorter amount of time than they quoted me, and pick up was easy and quick. On top of all of this- they did an INCREDIBLE job repairing some hail dings on my vehicle. I can't say enough good about this place! From the estimate to completion, everyone is very professional and the repair was perfect! My car has 360 sensors and required bumper removal. Everything worked perfectly post repair. I also had some door dings repaired - you cannot detect the difference in the doors and the car is beautifully cleaned when you pick it up. I just want to say that Hill Country Collision will always go out of their way to help you in any way they can! I needed something retrieved from my car that had been totaled by my insurance company. They took the time out of their busy day to get it out of the car for me before the salvage place arrived. They are friendly, reasonably priced, and EXTREMELY courteous. I took my Audi A8 here to see if PDR would fix my boo-boo. Larry said he could try, but that I wouldn't be happy with it and may as well get it properly done. He took his time to explain the issues involved. He gave me an estimate both ways. I got another estimate from a chain, and it was higher. Hill Country Collision had my baby good as new in the time promised and for the price quoted. I'm glad my neighbor recommended them to me, and I will recommend them to others. Can't say enough good things about HCC. First off, having to use a collision service is always bummer...and I've had the unfortunate luck to have been in 2 hail storms in 2 years! The first one was super major and I was so uptight, however the sweet family and hardworking team at HCC made my car just like new and took all the stress away. They were professional, courteous and friendly. Because of my wonderful experience, I returned again for their help this May. Once again, they took excellent care of me and my new car. It's just like new again. And, as I got to know Larry & Amber better I can say I am so proud to have them a part of our wonderful community! I had a fifth wheel hitch installed by a shop in Austin that was installed incorrectly damaging the bed of my 2020 F250. I tried some local body shops and they all wanted to replace the bed and paint it versus trying to repair aluminum. I really did not want 1/2 of my new truck repainted. Took it to Chris at Hill Country and he was honest that it might not be possible to repair it but he certainly would try and felt reasonably certain he could do it. He stayed in touch daily with text or call. Upon taking the hitch out he found more damage and took pictures to support the repair and show the hitch shop the damage they caused. Once repaired they applied a spray in liner and it looked better than new. He reinstalled the hitch and showed me how a hitch is to be installed correctly. It was clean using carraige bolts vs bolts and washers as previous. I could not be happier with the Hill Country Collision / LineX team and recommend them highly. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Took my vehicle to them in early July after having been involved in a wreck. There was quite a bit of damage and I requested an estimate so I could decide if the car was worth fixing. Was told they were busy, but they would work with me if I decided to proceed with the repairs since the car was being used to commute to work in Austin. It took almost 3 weeks to get an estimate. Although the estimate was considerable, I decided it would be feasible to repair the car and would cost less than replacing it with a comparable car. Since I had no collision insurance, told them I would be paying for the repairs myself. Was told I would need to put 1/2 of estimated repairs down before they would start work. I promptly gave them a check. I just got the car returned after waiting for four months to get the repairs done. Sure glad they worked with me, otherwise it might have been sometime in 2022 before I would have gotten the car back. When I got the final invoice, the repair cost had gone up $4200 from the estimate. I expected the costs to rise some, but $4200 dollars? Outrageous! To top things off, the car stalled on me the very day it was returned. in Austin and I am now having to have the vehicle towed for additional repairs. They obviously did not do a very good job of fixing the vehicle. I will never, ever do business with this company again. I feel I was mislead, outright lied to, and taken advantage of. read more

These guys have shot us a fair deal twice now. They did extensive repair in our Chevrolet Van and did quality work. Once was a deer strike in the front and once was massive damage in the back. They worked with the insurance company and held them accountable for is. Older but well maintained Toyota. A smack took out the bumper (plastic) and left light and a good fist size crunch to the hood / left front fender area. Other shops wanted to replace metal hood and fender while my belief is that factory material and metal chemical under treatments are better than new / after market parts. No one else agreed to hammer out and repair except Larry. He saw it like I did and what a job. Still trying to figure out how he made it better than what I expected could be done. Painting, polish out, stripping, blending and a inside detail all for same as the remove and replace approach. Short turn around time and we were on our way. Glad this talent still exist.
