The good news is that the staff was very nice, friendly and easy to work with; there's a comfortable waiting area, and the work was completed when promised. My wife has used them for periodic oil changes with no problem, and I've used them for other work in the past, usually satisfied. The less good) news is that there was a bit of upsell pressure for optional $200+ fuel injector service (not a terrible thing; we're capitalists after all), and their overall prices were significantly higher than my alternative well-established repair shop 15 minutes away in Marble Falls. (I didn't know that at the time, and went to Grease Monkey for convenience.) The cost was still far less than what a Toyota dealer would have charged, and they upsell too! A couple of examples: The charge for changing the transmission fluid, including the fluid itself, was $512 (including tax). In Marble Falls the total would have been in the high $300s, including their most expensive fluid. Grease Monkey told me that my tires were badly worn and cupping, with a fairly fresh cut in one that exposed the steel belt. See photo they sent.) I don't recall hitting anything that would have cut a premium tire that badly, but it was an important safety inspection find. They strongly recommended (and I agree) replacing the front two for just under $440 per tire (same premium tire, installed, including tax), and recommended a road hazard guarantee for an additional 17%, which would have brought the total to about $500 per tire. (Every tire I've ever bought comes with a road hazard guarantee included, but theirs might have been a little more comprehensive.) I declined. The cost of exactly the same tire from the Marble Falls shop (installed, including tax) is just under $331 per tire (without the road hazard upsell). Interesting side note: There was a very cool unfinished 1941Chevy pickup hot rod in the storage yard, and I think I saw classic Chrysler Imperial tailfins sticking out farther down the row.

Never Again ! Car wouldnt run , I floored the accelerator, VSA light on and no movement. Set another date for him to come out and do the work, he came replaced brake switch, brakes and calipers. Drove it one block and said the work was done and car was running fine. Paid 669.00 . I drove the car it left me stranded with the same VSA light and issue, called them back they sent someone out 2 days later who determined that the first mechanic failed to bleed the brakes. 3 days after that Im getting ready to run errands... SAME ISSUE CAR WONT MOVE LEFT ME STRANDED after driving 2.5 miles. Had it towed to a mechanic shop cause at this point I dont want Nuts or Bolts to touch a fkng thing I own. The mechanics I took the car to determined that when the previous mechanic replaced the break switch he put a screw in stead of a grommet. The grommet is what presses the switch to allow the breaks to come back into position once you take your foot off the breaks. Paid thebnew nechanic who was very transparent and even suggested that they dont understand why they replaced all that and failed to mention that I need new Rotors ! or at the very lease had them resurfaced for 669.00 !!!
