We had such a bad experience with exceptionally rude receptionists and "upselling" at larger companies (ServPro) just trying to get an estimate for mold and water damage, so it was refreshing to work with Ansony. We noticed mold and water damage in a corner of our home and Ansony was able to come out to give an estimate shortly after we called. After a few weeks of us dealing with insurance, we noticed some additional damage elsewhere in the home. We reached back out to Damage Squad once we had things squared away with insurance to have them check out the additional damage and they came the next day to reevaluate and update their estimate. The changes were very reasonable--Ansony understood our budget and made it very clear what was necessary to address (i.e., mold) versus what could wait (i.e, more cosmetic things). So we signed the contract that day. Damage Squad came the next morning. Incredible. It's hard to find someone you feel like you can trust for home improvement, but Ansony clearly knows what he's doing and I never felt like he was trying to "upsell" or overcharge us. I felt like he genuinely made decisions and recommendations as if our home was his home, and he and his team treated it as such. I usually only go for providers with many reviews, but my gut said go with Ansony, and I'm so glad we did. Would 110% recommend Damage Squad.

Andrew came recommended to us by our realtor, so even in the COVID pandemic he came over to check it out. We thought maybe he'd have to open up our floor, and expected this to potentially run us a lot of money. He was able to diagnose that we didn't have any major issues, with minimal disturbance to the floor, within 15 minutes of being here. He had obvious knowledge of the era of home that our house was and the nature of how they built it in order to determine that the floor would be fine. With this company they kept finding things to charge me for which I did not like. I also used them to have mold removed from around the hvac system. They showed me before pictures of the mold but did not show me pictures once the mold was removed. I had to ask. Due to the fact they sprayed some type of foam to help prevent mold covering the areas where the mold was, it was hard to see if the mold had actually been removed. My house still has a musty smell when you use the AC. I'm really not sure what was done.

John went above and beyond by cleaning dirt and grass away from around my septic lids, he inspected my system, and took the time to educate me on the operation of my system and how to keep it healthy.
