The bid went from $1300 to $12,500. Talk about being taken for a ride by these folks! Only one other welder told me the staircase itself is fine. Bruce was the last welder I contacted. He was punctual, courteous, very professional and knowledgeable. He identified one problem area and proposed a fix that cost less than $300. He and another welder came the day of the appointed time and worked efficiently to apply the fix. Honest contractors are hard to come by these days, I would hire Bruce again in a heart beat! Juan constructed one is such a way that I could put my round mosaic tile in a welded pan with 20" legs. He knew exactly what I needed to do and he did it in 48 hours.
