Good: * Swimming -- I love swimming and this is the main reason I signed up * Location -- very convenient to my home * Time -- the evening time was perfect. Most bootcamps are at the crack of dawn and this time was much better. Bad: * Number of attendees -- the pool was crowded. We could only use 3 lanes and the first day we had about 8 people in each lane. The other days there were less, but at least 6. We were always running into each other and you really cannot pass because of swimmers coming towards you from the other side. They did sort swimmers, but there were just too many to make this work effectively and people did not really stay in their group or place in line. * The out-of-pool exercises -- I don't mind the exercises, but I did mind the timing. Jumping in and out of the pool was hard -- really high ledge -- especially for an older person like me. Also, the concrete was hard and slippery, so doing mountain climbers and pushups was painful. Finally, when we did get on the grass and haver our mats at the end of the class, we were not given time to put on shoes or even grab our mats. There were tons of stickle-burrs in the grass, so I wanted my shoes, and usually missed most of the first exercise. * The Saturday class -- when I signed up, I assumed the Saturday class would be at the same time, or close to it. Instead, it was at 8am in the morning and it was not even swimming. Their site does say Saturday is a land-only class -- I missed this when I checked out the program. Still at a completely different time of day, but understandable as it is really hot later in the day. So overall I would not sign up again. If they paid for more lanes and quit the constant jumping in and out of the pool and changed Saturday to a swim day, then yes, I would attend again.

Lights were dim and music was pumpin. -a whole mood rather then a bright loud, cold gym. I loved that they warmed us up, worked us out and cooled us down with a nice stretch to complete the Class. From the very beginning, Jessica paid close attention to my specific struggles and tailored the entire 6-week program exactly to what I needed. In just six weeks of personal training with Coach Jessica, I lost 7.9 pounds and 2 inches -- results I hadn't been able to achieve on my own. What impressed me most was her attention to detail. I struggle with knee pain and arthritis, and she knew exactly which movements would trigger my knee pain and how to modify them. At the same time, she pushed me hard when the pain wasn't there and helped me build strength safely. She constantly followed up, adjusted things as needed, and truly monitored my progress day by day. Her focus on proper form made a huge difference. She took the time to explain why movements felt the way they did, and because of that, I was able to improve my squat form and go deeper than I've ever been able to before. Beyond Jessica, the gym itself has always been an amazing place to work out. The community is supportive and welcoming. During my workouts, other members took the time to encourage me, and the staff and other trainers even reviewed my macros and meals and offered guidance and motivation. Leni lead my yoga practice for around 2 years, she is absolutely incredible…read more We practiced 2 days a week for 1 hour doing vinyasa yoga. My starting level was very basic and I was pretty weak. She always gave me alternative moves to still help me become stronger without ever making me feel inadequate. Over the years, she helped me become strong, not just physically, but mentally as well. She teaches you how powerful your mind is and helped me navigate the waters of meditation. When something was difficult, she walked me through how to really listen to my body and know where my limits were. The lessons I learned from Leni helped me birth 2 children and keep a strong mind and body for hours and hours of labor. And I still utilize these practices in my every day life! Also - she's just an awesome and hilarious human and you need to know her.

Because it's hard to start a regular practice, and inhabiting and stretching the body can be challenging, especially at first.
