I preferred the bam bam because it was filled a bit more but I didn't love the mayo based sauce on either. I would've preferred that on the side or, even better, an offering of salsa instead. I would've loved to review their salsa but only heard about it as I was finished up and it was offered to the couple sitting next to us at the bar. I was excited to try here but there were a few misses during our visit so we'll head to other local restaurants when we're in the area for a more satisfying meal next time.

The bartender was super sweet, quick to get my order to me, and made sure I had all I needed. There were 4 bartenders that I saw behind the bar at this event, all busy busy bees. This bar is on the lake, down off the frontage road, with many local lake customers. Its rustic. Don't expect anything fancy here. The locals are happy, and they welcome visitors. I'm going to find a night to visit this bar again, check what else they have to offer patrons, and I'll talk to more bartenders. She never apologized, wouldn't make eye contact the rest of the evening, and simply went back behind the bar as if nothing had happened. I understand that employees need to use the restroom too, but pounding on the door and speaking to a customer that way is completely unprofessional. A simple, "I'm so sorry to rush you, but I really need to use the restroom," would have been understandable. Instead, I was treated with disrespect over what was literally a short bathroom visit. Unfortunately, that interaction left a much stronger impression than anything else about our visit. I won't be going back to this bar again, nor will my friends.
