We stopped here after we had a great morning on the lake. There is plenty of boat parking which is nice. They have a large beach/seating area with bar where you can order food and drinks. Our food was delicious and the service was good. Definitely a place worth checking out if you are out on the lake and need something to eat/drink. read more

Nice place for drinks on pewaukee lake. This is defs a dive bar but they have live music on weekends and have really nice staff. Decent size inside but they have chairs right by the lake on sand (so wear flip flops) they also have a a beach bar right on the water! Great place to come during summer for some lake views and drinks! They have food here but I didn't get any. It is bar food. Burgers and sandwiches. Looked good but did not try! Came to this place for my first time with a party of 12 and I ordered a double cheese burger and fries and potato salad but my potato salad never came and my fries were rock solid. The cheese burger was great so I highly recommend it! Mary Jo (server) was very helpful so if you get the chance to get her it will definitely be a pleasant experience. When my friends food came out 3 of them ordered a BLT and neither one of them got bacon on their sandwich nor did they get their Mayo or bbq sauce. The view off the back of the building points right to the lake so the view can't be beat. I will be back for a redemption meal. read more

I have a blast every time I'm at the Sports Dock. This time it was the middle of winter and there was a certain Tolstoyan beauty looking out on the frozen lake. Everyone in the bar is Wisconsin warm and friendly, thawing the cold from outside. Drinks are strong, my Patty Melt great, and the frivolity and laughter representative of what life is all about. I wish there was a retirement home upstairs from the Sports Dock, because that's where I would love to spend my "golden years." read more

Great view of Pewaukee lake and tables in the sand. We enjoyed the convenience of ordering at the outside bar. My son enjoyed playing in the sand and feeding the ducks. The only downside is that my husband was yelled at by the bartender for wearing a mask when he went inside to use the bathroom. As an acute care nurse practitioner caring for COVID patients and having unvaccinated children at risk...this obviously upsets me. read more

A good bang for the buck, and a nice casual place ! The decor is up woods 1960's, the interior is rough sawn cedar in a nautical look. Exactly what we were looking for. You ever go to a bar and think "this place would be perfect for Bar Rescue?" This is one of those places. Awesome location, bar outside on the sand by the lake - recipes for an awesome bar. But then you sit down and the absolutely uninterested staff snap you back to reality. Was there Saturday morning in the summer to have a couple drinks and lunch before heading out onto the lake. Five bartenders sitting in a row, acting very inconvenienced for having to look up from their phones to help us. And who's picking the music here? I'm on a beach by the water trying to enjoy some sunshine - pick something that fits the bill. The 4 of us also agreed that might be the worst Bloody Mary we've ever tasted. Burger was good, so that's a plus. A few small tweaks and this place could be great. Just looks like they aren't interested in trying. read more

Me and my wife went there asked could we launch our boat there and we were told yes so we paid the $10 fee and one of the patrons told us that the right side of the boat ramp was where we needed to launch shortly after that we got our stuff out of our vehicle and put that stuff on the boat and as soon as we did that the owner Gina came out and told us we couldn't launch so we told her we had paid the launch fee and she said well I give you people your money back this is private and she treated us like that us being black and all with George Floyd's protesting going on so I guess she wanted to show someone how she felt about black people. read more

Ok. Smoking ban now in effect, this place is a great spot. It's nice on a summer day to get some bar food and a beer and watch the boats on Pewaukee Lake. I love the Italian sausage sandwich which Is topped with chopped pepperoncini. The burger is also good, and I hear they have a great Reuben special on Thursdays. The atmosphere is unpretentious; it's just your average bar with a nice view. The employees are all very friendly. You can even park your boat at their pier to dine with them. read more

The Sports Dock is a fun place to stop and eat if you are spending a day on the lack, they have a full menu in the upstairs bar/restaurant and grilled items and a partial bar downstairs near the picnic tables. The food is okay, my friend got sick from a grilled chicken sandwich so I steer clear of those, the burgers are good but I suggest waffle fries over regular fries because the regular fries are always soggy. We had a really rude woman take our order on Sunday but otherwise the service is usually good. The outside is dog friendly, all the dogs we saw were on on a lease so I am guessing that is the rule but I didn't see any signs indicating the rules. The docks get pretty crowded in the afternoon so you might not find a spot or have to circle back a few times. read more

Gina runs a great bar with some of the best bar food in the area. When they are busy there is a wait for food but always well worth it. they do amazing food for such a tiny kitchen. Great place to go in winter for lunch always quick and tasty. Also ask about the corn beef special it is excellent. read more

Love this place. Great food and family friendly. Plus you get to watch people try to doc their rental boats. This summer they stopped being a public launch and have in fact closed the launch to everyone however you can still launch at the public launch on the west end. Great burgers from the lower bar, awesome bar food upstairs. Get two Pewaukee sunsets and you'll be loving life. read more

Yesterday, me and my family rented a pantoon for my friend Gina's birthday. Around 2ish, we got super hungry and decided we'd stop at Gina's sports dock. My friend called ahead to see what we were supposed to do to dock the boat, we wanted to make sure we could dock anywhere. On the call she was super snippy and very disrespectful. When we got there, we were docking the boat, and everyone was laughing at us and was even recording on there phones, waiting for something to go wrong. I was very seasick, so I just wanted to get off the boat as soon as possible. Our aunt had to go to the bathroom very badly, so we asked if their was a bathroom we could use. They replied with, "I guess you can go use the portapotties or go upstairs." very very rude. When we went to go to the bathroom, they didn't know that the guy standing behind us was with us. A lady came up to the guy who was rude about the bathrooms, and she told him, "Yeah, we need to get them out of here as quickly as possible. They don't belong here." When we were done in the bathrooms, he told us what the lady said and we were dumb founded. We decided we weren't going to eat there and give them our money when they were being very disrespectful. We decided we were going to go back to the dock, and sk the boat rentals where some good places we could eat were. We went to Artisan 176 and it was so amazing. It was a higher end restaurant, and more expensive, so we ended up paying $200+ for our food. We we're so glad that we decided not to stay at the sports dock. i don't know if it was just us, or what, but they we're rude and I definitely wouldn't recommend wasting your money here if they start to become snippy with you because you don't deserve it! Honestly, I'd rather go to Mcdonald's then go to this place ever again, and that says a lot. read more

Woah! I had to go back and re-edit my score of the Sports Dock. We had family in for town and decided to swing by for drinks after dinner. Long story short our 50 year old aunt didnt have her ID on her so we were told to leave. This is a group of 15 people lead by very frequent customers! The female bartender decided to be a big jerk as well, yelling at our group to leave immediatly. She claimed that because all of our last names didn't match we couldn't be related and therefore we were using fake ID's. The logic was very...off. We didnt even have a chance to plead our case. Its unfortunate. I no longer recommend tis place due to their very poor customer service. read more

We paid for a year pass to launch our boat here and when we need to pull our boat in they have people parked right in front of the launch. So when we called to let them know a blonde woman came out and told us she cares more about the people that want to park there to eat than the people who paid to launch their boats. Even though we paid $100 to launch our boat and eat here frequently. Don't have a launch if you don't want people to launch their boats. Very rude, gave A LOT of attitude! read more

Have eaten here a dozen+ times. Tonight's steak sandwiches were exceptionally fatty, fries left a grease film at the roof of your mouth and the soda was awful not to mention warm. I have this grease film and a over bearing onion tang in my mouth. So nasty. I won't be back. read more

Friend of ours treated us a to a day on the lake and we stopped here for a brew and snacks. It was our first visit and without a doubt, the best burger that I have ever had.....little on the pricey side but worth every penny. Ample food and actually had a hard time finishing it all. Great view of the lake, staff was very friendly. Will definitely make it a point to go back and try their pizza. read more

I'm giving Gina's Sports Dock two stars because they have really good food, and -5 stars for service. Unfortunately Yelp won't let me do that. My husband and I were there on a Sunday mid-afternoon before an evening Packer's game. The entire time we were there we felt like we were inconveniencing the staff by ordering food and beer while they were trying to prep for a Packer party that evening. We started by sitting at a table in the bar area. When the waitress/bartender came over to our table (running) she told us that one of the girls didn't show up and they were really busy. Ok, no problem..We told her we weren't in a hurry and ordered a couple appetizers and 2 beers. While we were eating more staff rolled in but the attitude got worse. A waitress walked by our table and grabbed a basket with a couple shrimp in it and said "are you still working on this?". We were still eating. When we said yes she shoved it back at the table and moved on. When our beers were empty we set the empty glass and bottle at the edge of the table along with the empty baskets from the appetizers, hoping to order a second round of drinks. After quite some time an employee did walk by and ask if we were done with the baskets and took them, but never asked about the empty beer glass and bottle. Finally we decided to move over to the bar so we could see the football game better on the tv. We set the empties on the bar and waited a few minutes for new ones. The whole time listening to the staff complain about how each of them was called in an hour early because they were so slammed today. It appeared that the staff behind the bar made a point not to make eye contact with customers and certainly never greet them. It was made very clear that if you aren't one of the 'regulars' of the Sunday afternoon crowd in this bar, you are not welcome. You are an inconvenience that causes employees to come in early and potentially earn extra tips. In this case, they made very sure that did not happen. Bill $31.87... Paid $31.87 Keep it up you won't have to worry about coming in early because you're so busy. read more

Super slow service on a Thursday at 1 PM. Waited 50 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers and fries with hardly anyone there and left without our food as we couldn't wait any longer. The outdoor bartender was nice about it and gave us tokens for 2 free drinks for the wait that we can use on our next visit. The people before us all waited forever as well. We drove 125 miles from Illinois to stop here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Out of the five of us, 3 had bison burgers, 1 had regular burger and 1 had tuna salad. All of the food was excellent, especially the bison burgers. The waitress and the service was great. The decor is nothing fancy, just great food with fabulous service. read more
