Tevin Freese, the founder and CEO, personally reached out to me about the project, and I'm so glad he did. We had originally scheduled a time between 12:30-1:00 PM, but Tevin proactively called to see if he could come earlier. I couldn't be there in person right away, but I explained the job over the phone, and he and his assistant got started without missing a beat. After about an hour of work, Tevin noticed a haziness still lingering on the tiles and told me he wasn't satisfied with the results yet. He offered to run to Home Depot to get additional supplies, including an impregnating sealer specifically for natural stone -- something I hadn't even considered. His commitment to doing the job right was clear. By 2 PM, the difference was night and day. The tiles looked clean -- not just on the surface, but deep into the stone. I paid via Venmo, and the team wrapped up professionally. I highly recommend Tevin and The Carpet Alchemist for anyone needing tile cleaning -- especially if you have natural stone that needs specialized care. (I am pretty position I will not be purchasing anything from them now) If you are a store that sells only one product (i.e. flooring) please hire people with some knowledge in it. When I shop somewhere and ask an employee a question; I don't want to hear, "Maybe" or "I think that MIGHT work". If I'm going to spend our hard earned money, I must feel the employees know what they are talking about and not feeding BS. I did NOT get the feeling from talking to 3 different employees that they had ANY knowledge in the products they sell. I understand it is hard to find good help these days but please, don't just hire someone to just fill the position. Hire people with knowledge OR offer training classes for them to get this knowledge. The 3 employees I talked to day need the training ASAP.

Paid around $90k materials, and labor to have white polish limestone tile installed on the floor of…read moreour downstairs. Return to find everything covered in dust including the floors. Mortar splashed all over baseboards and doors. Areas with no caulk. Some areas with caulk were done extremely sloppy. There were uneven cuts around corners. One side would be a certain thickness and then another side would be another thickness. Worst of all they did not wipe the grout off properly from the tile. They left grout to sit on the tile and grout had etched our brand new limestone floors everywhere. They also stained it in many places too. Eddie had the guys come back and try and get it out themselves, but we're not able to. So the guy that we paid to professionally seal our floors, Eddie had to pay $4000 to polish and restore our floors. However many of the stains and etching still not able to get out! We are glad that Eddie one of the owners forked over the money to make it right. Eddie does seem like a good guy and he is professional, but his subcontractors just seems very amateur. we have had lots of marble tile installed, and I have never seen our marble etched or so many imprecise cuts or lack of caulking. They installed tiles with big chips in them without thoroughly inspecting. They couldn't even get a transition, right . The wood transition in our bedroom doesn't even match the other transitions. This is very amateur. I've never had a contractor not be able to match a stain. This is very basic knowledge in the industry to do. And he was asking me how to do it as the homeowner. I thought that's what I was paying you for. Also, they left empty soda cans, just laying around in our kitchen. Tile and debris from the dumpster just laying all over our driveway. All in all, this was an awful experience. The final product is acceptable, but there's still a lot of flaws. And of course, the time and money that it took to rectify the situation. I regret hiring this company and wish that we would've hired someone else . I recommend finding a company that has its own in-house installers and does not use these subcontractors.

We were re-flooring the entire home (a little over 2500 sq ft) with lvp and carpet. Luis was patient and listened to our needs before making suggestions. Even when making suggestions, he always deferred to what we wanted and was never pushy. Often he would have to wait while we met with other contractors and he never complained. Payment was easy and I appreciated the very detailed invoice. I felt 100% comfortable leaving a key with Luis and his crew! One day I came home to meet yet another contractor and I was blown away when I saw Luis on his hands and knees actually working with his crew! Usually folks just make the sale, send the crew and check in from time to time but Luis was working side by side with his crew and I was really impressed. While everything was ultimately addressed, it would have been better if those issues were avoided from the start. In the end, the finished bathroom looks really nice, and we're happy with the final result.
