For years, I have shopped at the store. Their new procedures to leave the price tags off and adjust the prices daily is a sign of unfair trade practices. Perhaps a bit deceptive but definitely a poor business model. Perhaps the manager should develop a new business plan moving forward to maintain consistent prices or they could put the prices back on the merchandise and note when there is a sale. The justification for the price changes..well, they change as also. Perhaps consider a new system to build trust with your customers. read more

Excellent selection of new and used home construction supplies and various home goods. Decent prices but some of the inventory is outdated or damaged. Great option for flippers or DIY enthusiasts! I've always found great helpful folks at the Jones Rd. Restore location ~ especially CiCi who has gone above & beyond each time I'm into shop. She assists with pick-up /delivery coordination, adapting to any last-minute changes, all with a smile!! I have been in this store several time over the last year and noticed that the prices were ridiculously high for second hand stuff. There was only a few people shopping both times we were there. If they want sales/ shoppers, then they need to LOWER their prices. Go check out the HOPE Chest at 290 & Barker to get a better idea of what things should be priced at. They are always packed and people are always buying stuff. They get the stuff for free (donations) and know how to price the items accordingly to move inventory. I think Habitat thinks they are competing with Lowe's and Home Depot stores. Get real people, you get the stuff for FREE, your prices should be 75-80 % and lower off retail. WHO THE HECK IS IN CHARGE OF SETTING PRICES? In case you haven't noticed, your store is slowly going out of business . Get a real manager. read more

Went to drop off a Christmas tree that was in perfect condition for donation was greeted by one of the rudest people I have come across by the name of misty and from my understanding she is an assistant manger. Was not aware that anything donated needed to be in a box or bag she treated my husband and I like we were dumb. Had we known trust me I wouldn't have made the drive up there without the box. I like the concept of a goodwill type home remodel store but the prices are outrageous! Crusty yellowed dirty light switches for $4, same for the receptacles. Everything was above or close to the price you'd pay at a store NEW it's absurd. Very disappointed and would not go back. read more

Great concept for a store. I've gotten scrap pieces of wood, caulk, knobs, a sink, some small tiles and a few other items here. Staff is usually pretty helpful. Only negatives are that I think some items are a little over-priced considering most things are used and some items (like the knobs and scrap pieces in the back) are unorganized. But there are a lot of very reasonably priced items that are like-new and MUCH cheaper than a new one at a hardware store. read more

Purchased a faucet and sprayer that was labeled as "tested" that leaked profusely. The plumber that did my installation said never to buy from here- I could've spent less for a better fixture at lowes or Home Depot. Lesson learned. read more

The Jones road location is over priced. They are a resale shop not a retail store. They sale old moldy flood items for insanely high prices. I've been to other location and they are not like Jones rd. Who ever is in charge of pricing should be fired. read more

I've been to several Habitat for Humanity stores- and among them, this store usually has the broadest selection of items. I place it somewhere between a hardware store and a Salvation Army store. However, of them all, this place has the most used furniture and cabinetry. Many of the others have new donated stock or overstock pieces- not this one. You don't come here looking for paint or palettes of laminate or anything like that. This one is almost all stuff that needs repurposing. If you need something like new paint or overstocked fixtures or something like that I suggest the one on 610 south- or the one in Mesquite, Tx. My main issue with this location is that there sadly aren't any deals to be had here. The prices they want to charge for all of their stuff seem to border on outrageous to "just barely a decent price." I just don't get it. If it wasn't so close to me and if I wouldn't keep kidding myself that one day I will walk in and find something great at a good price, I would never come back. Sadly, I'm a glutton for punishment and generally show up at least once a month to see what has rolled in. And I'll continue to leave empty handed, I'm sure, perplexed at why everything is so expensive at this second-hand home store. read more

I have visited the store several times . Bought couple things but found the prices a lil high for donated merchandise. Today I was looking for a particular style of door. Having missed one that was perfect for, only needed a surface restore for $40. They had the style and size but the bottom 3" was totally water rotted away. Could pull chuncks barehanded. A lot of man hours to remove and replace with good wood. They wanted $55. Ridiculous pricing. Evidently their merchandisers do not understand the ideal of turning over merchandise. I think that is bad business. Priced too high and will not dicker to turn over inventory. I could make way more money for habitat Restore. Don't know if I will visit again. You can actually shop Lumber Liquidators sales and beat Restore prices. That should be a wake up call! read more
