Mark even showed me that one of my rims in the front is bent, and asked if my ride was shaky when I drive (and it was VERY shaky) so he switched my back tire to the front, and put the bent rim in the back - which made a SIGNIFICANT change in the shakiness of my ride. They offered a friendly greeting and indicated they would have someone get working on my car immediately and that it shouldn't be more than 40 minutes. About 20 minutes later, they came to me with the keys and a bottle of water. The job was done and there was NO CHARGE for removing the screw and fixing the tire. It was awesome service and I hadn't expected it to be free. Just saying, it was a GREAT experience. I've had good experiences with several Firestone Complete Auto Care shops over the years, but this was such a good experience that I wanted to give them a shout out. They also chatter scratched one of my wheels with the tire bar very badly on chrome rims. Then charged me 150 dollars for the install and made me reinstall the 3 lug nut covers that weren't broke. So now im out 150 for the install and ballance 200 to replace the 1 broken lug cover and replace the scratched up one and probably 250 to 350 for another wheel.

I took my vehicle to lambs automotive today and spoke with S. Guerrero. They were having…read moreconnectivity issues, so it took a little longer for the inspection, which I completely understand. Things happen. When I asked, why is my hood up and what are they checking on? He stated that there are other things per state guidelines. They need to look at that's part of the process, but he was not sure and that the inspector would know.. after I talked to the inspector. He said it was only emissions related for state inspection now and the service advisor stated no they have to check multiple things. Make sure nothing's leaking and everything's working under the hood. I looked on the DPS website and for the state of Texas it states what is evaluated, which is the emissions computer, gas cap, ready to monitors, and a check engine light, which is all checked through the OBD port. There is no reason to open the hood. I will never go back to this lambs automotive because if you lie about something small as a state inspection, you'll lie about something big like actual issues with the vehicle.. this lambs automotive furthers the stereotype about repair shops lying to the customer.
