Overloaded. New…read moreservice appt person has problems remembering things that were just told (what was your name again? which car? what was it again that you wanted?) Multiple mistakes in a row. Had the car in and the transmission line wasn't put back properly, had to get a master mechanic over in my driveway to put it back so the car was usable. Then had it towed to them and they did repair it for parts cost only, but for a family vehicle and tow it was strike one. Next it was the second time the brake pad sensor failed after coming out of their shop after they did rotors/pads. No memory of it happening before (i finally remembered after reviewing old invoices) Asked them to contact a local shop so i didn't have to have it towed over to them again and they got too busy to do it. Called again the next day and they did call the local shop but forgot if it was the front or rear sensor. I had already ordered both from napa so i told them to just credit my account for the next work we did together when we weren't on vacation and they said to just work with the new mechanic since i didn't want to work with them, i just laughed and hung up. Oh and the new text messaging system they put in isn't monitored and half the staff doesn't have access to it or it doesn't work properly so don't get excited thinking it will make it any easier to keep track of things...

I scheduled my pickup to be undercoated with Fluid Film, which is one of the services that Reliable Auto Center offers. When I arrived, they were prompt in taking my truck in. It was lunchtime, so I wandered across the street to a food truck (trailer, actually) that Troy's wife recommended (my Cubano sandwich was delicious, so I agree with her recommendation). After Troy pulled my truck into the garage and put it on the lift, he actually walked across the street to let me know his thoughts on the truck and the process before they did the work. That impressed me. While I was waiting for my food, the owner of the food trailer told me that he owns a snowplowing service and has known Troy for years, even calling him once at 3 AM when one of his trucks broke down during a storm. Troy came and got him back on the road quickly. Anyway, my truck was ready within an hour. The bill was reasonable and when I inspected the work that was done, I was impressed again. They were careful and thorough. I will definitely go back. In fact, if I lived closer by, I'm pretty certain that I would have Reliable do all the maintenance on my vehicles.

One who genuinely thanked me for calling and didn't rush me off the phone. He said to call back 45 mins before I was ready to come in and he would make sure my car would get worked on right away. I called back this afternoon and they took me right away. Rob at the front desk was very friendly and the waiting room was very comfortable. As a younger female, autoshops aren't usually the most welcoming places, but this was the best auto-realted shop I have ever been to. They even fixed my tire free of charge and encouraged me to come back if I needed any other work done. Excellent experience.
