When it came time to consider the end, the doctors were with me, sat in the floor while I considered my choices. once I knew there was only one choice, they worked with me and his moms work schedule. At the time I worked from home but she was in south Austin for work as a nurse. They stayed open late on a Monday while we spent our last moments with Zeppelin. I know how much I want to leave work on time but I never felt rushed by them. I still get teary eyed as I still go once a week to get my other senior pup his meds, it breaks my heart to go there as a reminder of Zeppelin, but it is also testament to how much we appreciate them that I keep coming back. But because someone left a message on their machine they told us they were "holding" the puppy for them. They had no idea what time the other people were going to be there. TL;DR If their dog training services are as decent as some of the reviews imply, the snake wranglers clearly know nothing about dog training, and why they would allow their brand to be impacted by these subs, I'm not sure what the rationale is. I scheduled two of my dogs for snake training the same day. Neither session was productive. They tried to introduce the dogs to 4 different snake settings in the corral. The first one they approached the snake and shocked the dog. After putting the dog into an excited and unteachable state, they proceeded to drag the dog around the property instead of letting it re-enter a submissive, teachable state. They dragged her around so much so that they yanked the collar off of her neck. Then she proceeded to run around the property. I contained her and brought her back. Then coming back, the snake wranglers were just interested in moving onto the next station they had set up and not concerned about the dog, the dog inputs, or assessing the feedback from the dog. Zero dog skills were demonstrated. My other dog didn't want to follow their leash commands because the snake wranglers weren't skilled with a leash. So they drug my second dog out to the first snake with paws firmly planted on the ground. No training occurred. Just people perfunctorily going through the motions Shock. Repeat dragging the dog. Then when they tired of dragging her, they brought the snake to the dog. She was not even aware. She learned to associate the shock with the wrangler's poor leash skills and perhaps his scent, if anything at all because she was so focused on him and not even aware of the snakes. And she's the hunter we find every night shredding and pulling apart frogs or small field mice (rabbits still too quick for her). She loves to rip apart small prey. We thought she would be the one to bolt and attack once seeing the snakes. Only thing more oblivious to the task at hand were the snake wranglers who didn't know how to focus a dog's attention. If looking for snake aversion training, go elsewhere. The training was perfunctory and pure performance. There was no training. About as effective as them selling you snake oil for your dog's ailments. A better name for this offering would be snake aversion Theater.

I would have realized there were lots of horror stories similar to mine and that the positive reviews come from people that like to have their cats groomed. I'm sure there isn't a lot of competition in the mobile cat grooming business so he has a fan club there. Dogs are definitely not his specialty, or people skills. He quoted me the most expensive grooming price I have ever had, and shame on me, I was getting on a plane and frazzled and didn't really look at it. Getting three doodles fully groomed is expensive but usually in the $5-700 range. Angel quoted me $1078 for all three dogs. This was mobile so I explicated an up charge but then again I wasn't really paying attention. Anyway the money spent isn't my main complaint here. I just want to spare other people and their pets from having any interaction with this insane person. The quote when I went back and looked said the following. *Labor: On site grooming. Nail clipping or filing. Shampoo and hydro bath. Hair cut or furminator depending on breed. Cleaning of the eyes. Cleaning of the ears. Cleaning of their anal glands. Initial rinse. Brushing. Final rinse. Towel dry face. Hand blow dry body. Trim Paw pads. Final brush and bluff. Free Teeth brushing (tooth brush and tooth paste provided by pet's owner). Her paw pads and nails weren't trimmed. She was very traumatized by the event. I got home the day after and she was not herself and slept for a couple days. My labradoodle also had the strange point between his eyes, different lengths all over, same with feet and nails. My oldest the golden doodle who is 14, looked like a couple hacks had been taken at him. None of the dogs looked bathed. Ok Mr. Strange. After reading through his reviews I saw plenty of this. One woman said he told her to put her baby in a dog cage. Lots of entertaining material on Yelp reviews for Angel. Not sure if the positive reviews are fake or just cat people. Action Pack is amazing but due to time constraints and convenience we tried ATX mobile. HUGE MISTAKE. My wife scheduled the appointment for 11am. He doesn't actually show up until after 12 and instead of apologizing he berates my wife telling her he is like the cable man and he only gives windows of time and can never commit to an exact time. He never mentioned a window of time during appointment scheduling and specifically confirmed 11 when my wife asked. He then asked how we want our dog cut and she told him we want her shaved short. He asks if we want her blow dried because his blow dryer is so loud that it can scare them and could be fatal for older dogs if they have heart problems. He then says he won't be brushing her teeth because she is old and they are probably rotted anyway. My wife tells him forget blow drying and teeth brushing (even though both were part of the package she was expected to pay for). Age of the animal was an input on the form required to get a quote and schedule an appointment. Shouldn't these things have been mentioned when signing up for a package including them??? After less than 10min cutting her, he texts and said he is done. He made some sorry excuse that she would turn away from him when he tried cutting her face so he couldn't finish. If all this wasn't bad enough, he had the audacity to still ask for $78 (only $20 less than the full quote)!!Poor customer service or a bad grooming job is one thing, but this guy was flat out, unapologetically, rude. My dog was having a serious allergic reaction and I didn't have my medicine for her. It was just after a holiday and many of the vet clinics weren't even open. I called them and the fit me in to see the vet even though they were really busy. The vet did a wonderful job with my dog and actually gave me information that my regular vet had not even told me about. Friendly and knowledgeable.
