Kind coffee is my favorite coffee spot in Estes! First, the service is very great. Quick, clear and…read more- you guessed it - kind. The shop sits on Elkhorn Ave, kind of the Main Street of Estes. It has a front and back entrance, if you'd like to walk along the river to get there. There's a large public parking lot across the street as well. The barista made the cutest latte art for us! But it wasn't just appearance. The oat milk lattes were as delicious as they were beautiful! We tried some lattes at Inkwell yesterday, and Kind today. Kind was easily better, 10/10! It's a clean and cute shop. Good selection of coffee and breakfast and light lunch options. Also a small merch section - mugs, tees, coffee cups and canisters. We tried the salmon and cream cheese bagel with capers yesterday for lunch and they were great. My husband preferred the jalapeño cheddar bagel, while I was happy with the everything bagel. But the lattes were the real standout for me. The line was longest at lunch out of our visits, but it moved very quickly! The baristas were very welcoming and nice as well! Overall - Would definitely recommend!

As long-standing visitors of Estes Park, we've always gone to one particular coffee shop. Lately…read morethough, the coffee hasn't been as good and the wait has been way too long, so I decided to check out Coffee on the Rocks based on the positive reviews online and from people we know. It definitely did not disappoint. The coffee is top notch, an A+ in my book...and the speed at which they make it is also on point. I almost took away a star because during one visit they skipped forward through a Journey song, which is definitely a no-no for me, but I decided to let it slide... for now. They have a great selection of specialty lattes, and the deck ambience is hard to beat. You can feed the ducks, spot some deer, and just enjoy the wildlife along the river while you sip your coffee. We have for sure found our new coffee spot for our Estes Park visits going forward.

I'm pretty new to the world of coffee, so it was great to get helpful feedback on what to try. Both my drink and my wife's were amazing--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Mine came out at the perfect temperature for a chilly afternoon, which made it even better. One of the best parts of the visit was the park area behind the shop. It's a beautiful spot to unwind, take in the scenery, and just enjoy the quiet charm of the city. Sitting out there with great coffee made us fall even more in love with Estes Park. Highly recommend stopping here--whether you're a longtime coffee lover or just getting into it like me.

Scratch Deli and Bakery - This one was the Spanish with no meat. I think this was the best of the two.

The cashier was super friendly and let us have as much candy as we wanted, helped us pick menu items, and was very honest about wait times due to their busyness but was still quick to get our orders out as soon as she could. The restaurant has few tables so its more of a grab and go spot, but it is possible to sit at a small counter or select few tables. The sandwiches were all good, some better than others. Some people were happier with them than others. The specialty sandwiches got the best reviews.

All of their meats are cured in house and served on their fresh baked bread each day. They are vegetarian friendly and offer vegan and gluten free options. They also offer breakfast items like burritos. Be aware their sandwiches are loaded with ingredients and big. I could only eat half of my sandwich. I do appreciate the size though as you never know how hungry you are going to be after a long hike especially in this altitude. We went with the turkey sandwich and added cheese, all kinds of toppings and a spread. These sandwiches were very tasty and all the veggies on the sandwich were so fresh. Their baked goods looked so inviting especially the cinnamon rolls. I will have to come back! Service was efficient and helpful. Parking can be a bit of a challenge when they are busy. It was the perfect stop before entering the park!
