From the moment you walk in, you're surrounded by gorgeous stained glass windows and thoughtful touches everywhere you look. There are several inviting reading and learning rooms, plus a dedicated children's section that's perfect for little ones. Outside, there's a small but lovely garden with plenty of seating; ideal for enjoying a book on a nice day. I especially loved discovering the board where anyone can post a book review. It's a great way to engage with fellow readers and get new recommendations. My husband and I make it a point to support local businesses and community resources when we travel; signing up for a library card and following their event calendar is one way we connect with each new place. This library is truly a treasure, and we highly recommend stopping by whether you're a resident or just passing through!

So like honestly, Rivera is super slept on. Sure it is older than Orbach, but does Orbach have…read morefootrests underneath the tables?! Rivera does! During finals week when everyone heads back onto campus to study after dinner, I guarantee that you will not find a table in Orbach until at least 10pm. Rivera? Go during finals week at 6pm, there will be a lot of tables open. Sure it's only open until 2am during finals, but by that point, you're practically dead already unless you're on addy or hella caffeine. Either way, you should treat yourself to the nice refreshing walk or drive over to Orbach at 12am when you know the seats will be open up. Alright, I gotta get back to studying for finals~

This place is usually packed floor to floor during finals week and midterms, too. Nonetheless, there is ample quantity of seating on each floor. A major flaw about this library is the incredibly dim lighting in some areas, so it's harder to concentrate when working on homework or studying. However, in the morning and afternoon, there is natural lighting that streams through the second floor windows, which somewhat makes up for the bad lighting in this library.

The space is bright, organized, and thoughtfully designed and every section feels purposeful, from the cozy reading nooks to the tech-friendly study tables. One thing that I find here that is truly awesome is their bookstore. For me, I've bought several books here that I used for scraping in my travels and I absolutely love coming here to buy books for cheap that I will just end up scrapping. You'll find most books are no more than one dollar and amongst all the local public library bookstores that are offered, I have found this one, the largest and the cheap cheapest. Love it! Just be mindful, they only accept cash when making payments. In addition, you can print things out, but you will have to pay using cash only. The library also offers great programs with creative workshops that make it more than just a place for books, but a true community hub. You can find a monthly calendar located inside of different events that are ongoing. Parking can be very hard here when busy. I haven't figured out why they haven't opened the parking structure that's adjacent to it. It's been sitting empty for a months now. I always dread when I'm gonna be going to the library because parking is very hard here so just be prepared spaces are limited. It's one of those rare places where you can slow down, think clearly, and leave feeling just a little bit better than when you walked in. Bathrooms super clean!
