This spot is in the heart of downtown Apex. Walking in, it was pretty crowded at 4pm on a Saturday (probably the last warm day of the year), but the line moved to quickly. They have a good number of draft beers on tap-enough to fill two digital boards at the bar. It looked like they also have snacks you can purchase, like chips and even gummy bears. It was a little too loud inside, so we walked out back to their patio which had 6 picnic tables. The only downside (which didn't have anything to do with the business) was the woman sitting next to us who was puffing away on a cigarette. They had lights strung up so there was a nice "feel" to it. Street parking is a mess to find, so drive behind here/the fire station and you'll find rows of parking spots.

Disclosure: not a beer drinker. Came in with a group of 10. We were in downtown and wanted to check out HighCraft. I ordered their cider since they were out of rose and Prosecco. They have beers to purchase, grab and go, selective wine list and merchandise. Small space, high top tables and seating at the bar.

A local watering hole in downtown Apex, NC. Out of all the establishments in the city, this brewery is open the latest. Though not much for food options, there are myriad beer and cider options. There are some snacks available for purchase though. They also occasionally host events and food trucks, which can be found on their website. If driving through the area and need a place to kill time before an appointment or reservation, this is good place to go.

HighCraft has their second location in the space previously occupied by The Beer Dispensary. The draft beer selection was a great mix, I got an IPA and my husband got a milk stout. If you don't see anything on draft, they have bottles and cans. I also really liked the decor. Welcome to downtown Apex!

Perfect atmosphere to do some work! Service was great and they had a decent selection of beers. If you go on Tuesday, you get a $2 discount.

We both had tots, and agreed they could've been cooked a tiny bit more, but I still enjoyed mine. They have lots of beers on tap, but the are all their brews - would love to see a few guest taps. I went with a glass of wine - half off on Friday.

Pretty awesome, right? We happened to visit on a night when the live rock band Hired Guns was playing, which made the experience even more fun and energetic. The menu offers a solid variety of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and appetizers, along with a dedicated kids' menu. We ordered the chicken sandwich, Caesar salad, and traditional wings, with sides of tater tots and fries. The chicken sandwich was especially memorable--perfectly crispy with a slightly sweet flavor, tucked into a soft bun. The salad and wings were fresh and flavorful, and it's a bonus that you can turn any salad into a wrap. Cocktails were just okay, but that's understandable since Tap Station is more of a beer-focused spot. My husband really enjoyed sampling their IPAs! Service was quick and friendly, especially impressive given how busy the place was. All in all, Tap Station is a fantastic hangout for groups, families, kids, and even pets. We'll definitely be back!

The waiter was really nice and attentive and brought everything to our table. He even noticed I didn't have a drink and offered me a cup for water. I ordered the Mookie burger on gluten free bun and this is my favorite by far. The caramelized onions compliment the cheese and sauce. They take extra precautions for the gluten free burger. I tried the sirarcha aioli sauce with the French fries and it is great for a spicy addition. I can't wait to try more of the sauces. The rosemary french fries came out fresh and hot. The rosemary is really a nice addition to the fries. This is a very casual dining experience with booths and tables. They have outdoor seating but we ate inside.
