Great, interesting spot. Lots of room with big tables and big bar. Decorated super cute and you can see the machines through the window. The owner was very nice and informative. I tried an espresso martini and it was delicious. Also tried a flight of all the liquors they distill. A great experience and cool spot!

Walking in the space is very open, there is lots of different seating and the staff was awesome and welcoming for us new comers! I enjoyed looking at all the different decor and how they have their 1st barrel on display in a sectioned off room. There is definitely room to hold an event here in a different part of the building. It was pretty cool seeing the distillers sitting right in front of you. When we got there a small tour was being given, and we were able to ask questions ourselves just sitting at the bar. The staff was also knowledgeable which is always a plus. My favorite part though was being able to drink my cocktail from a seasonal holiday mug! Nice touch! Recommend and will be back :)

Came in with my bf to buy a few gifts and also did a tasting. Bartender was super knowledgeable and friendly! Super cute space! We will definitely be back!

From this tasting, now we know we aren't a fan of bourbon but that's okay. People have their own tastes. I would recommend this place however. The service was phenomenal. I never got his name but he was attentive and a very mellow human being. Thank you for being so patient and kind to us! We had the jimmy red corn head and we recommend it. The butter with the 24 month aged ham was truly delicious! This distillery has a perfect quiet vibe into it, and I really enjoyed it. If you're a big fan of bourbon, we would recommend this place. Even if you're not a fan of bourbon, I would still come here and at least try to cornbread.

The people were SO nice. They were in the middle of a tour and still let us just join in because I looked curious. The tour was so informative it was cool to learn and I am never one to listen on tours. This is definitely a go to place if you love bourbon (I don't enjoy bourbon and I am still glad I went)

Giving this one 4 stars although that's high in my opinion. Took about 10 minutes once we walked in for someone to come out of the back. We ordered a few samplers and espresso martinis. Martini was probably the worst I ever had, and the whiskey samplers were decent but nothing I loved. I liked the atmosphere, decent amount of seating and a room where they were selling products and tees. Bought a t-shirt which is super soft. Service was very average, not very friendly. We didn't buy any liquor because we didn't love anything. Much better distilleries out there unfortunately!

We came in on a Friday morning while on vacation, so it's hard to get a real feel for the vibe as it's not too busy at 11 a.m., ha! They have the classics cocktails, and my husband is now obsessed with the smoked bourbon. Espresso Martini was good. They do offer some snacks, but we did not get any. They have a little shop where they sell shot glasses and accessories for drink making. T-shirts are super comfy!

Great place. Go here. There's your short review. This place is impeccable. It is organized and everything was fun and delicious. Solid food choices as well as the snack we chose. I took home their gin; easily the most unique and delicious gin I have had in a long time. I look forward to mixing a number or drinks with it in the future. All the spirits were solid. The business and their products show the pride they have. If you pass this place up, you're missing the only truly great "spirits" that the notoriously haunted Charleston has to offer!

This was a great stop! Really appreciated that we were able to make our own tasting flight and the food menu was unique and really reasonably priced. Enjoyed all of the spirits (tried their rum, some whiskeys, and a gin). Our waiter was really nice and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend a stop if you're into going to distilleries! It's also a really sweet building and cool location (able to see the big stills right from the tasting room).

We stopped by for a quick tasting and were pleasantly surprised! The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable and even sat down with us for a bit since it wasn't too busy. I am a huge gin fan and really liked the Hat Trick gin--it was very well-balanced and refreshing. My favorite spirit was the southern amaro liqueur--I highly recommend trying it on ice cream! Will definitely be back to restock next time I'm in Charleston.

I had my first taste of Revival Bourbon at a friend's house last week. This weekend, my husband and I went downtown to support a couple of local shops. We started at High Wire Distilling. The shop was open and a very nice and knowledgeable gal answered our questions. Tasting wasn't available at this time but I'd already tasted the bourbon, so we bought a bottle of that, along with a small bottle of Revival Rye Whiskey and a small bottle of Southern Amaro Liqueur. We will definitely be back for tasting and a tour once they are able to completely open up.

Friendly staff and great cocktails. The smoked bourbon was great. Definitely a stop if you are into craft distillery

I loved this distillery and everyone in it. My friend and I had such a great time here! We each did the tour and the whiskey flight. While the tour is a lot of shorter than I imagined (about 10-15 mins) the guide was able to humor me and answer all of my tipsy questions ("How many bottles of booze can you get from a barrel?!") I ended up picking up a bottle of the 4 grain bourbon after learning so much about the distilling process and trying their cocktails which was delicious as well. Huge fan of this place. The answer to my question is approximately 250 bottles, depending on things like temperature, how long the whiskey sits and the "angel's share," etc.

The event popped up in January and I booked immediately, wanting to have a pocket Valentine's Day surprise. We arrived at our appointed time of 2pm, last available, and the gravel parking lot had plenty of spaces for us. I bet at night it can get packed, they have a local-bar vibe. We went in and followed the signs to the back. There is table seating as well as bar seating, and a nice dark wood funky vibe. Classic rock was playing not too loudly, and it seemed like they were running a staff meeting in the back so we couldn't do a tour. No problem, maybe next time. Our bartender welcomed us and offered table or bar seating, and of course we chose bar. There were several beer taps in the wall, with interesting-sounding names and descriptions that will have to be further explored at a future visit. We were here first and foremost for the tasting and pairing. Our guy gave us the list of the pairings, which was opposite order from the order they were served which was opposite the direction they were intended to be consumed. I enjoyed the chaos and we started with the house gin, featuring lavender and doing an incredibly herbaceous dance with the floral white chocolate. Nice pairing. Hubby is not a gin drinker and found it very floral and astringent. I bought a bottle. The next was the house spiced rum with a pineapple chocolate that was far superior to any Captain or Admiral. Spicy and smooth, a lovely slow sipping rum, or mix it up in a tiki drink or daiquiri. We picked up a bottle. Next, the bourbon. Hubs was not thrilled with their bourbon. He found it had a very acetone hit and while it was not objectionable, it would not be his choice. He is a bourbon connoisseur. I am not. I don't care for bourbon, but this was far smoother, less woody than expected. The dark chocolate would match with anything, really. Last, the rye whiskey. If I like anything less than bourbon, it's rye. But this one was surpringly drinkable, and I could see myself drinking it again. Hubby again picked up that acetone note that put him off the bourbon too. I don't know enough to define it. But tastes vary. We had fun and he wants to do more like this, so that's a W for the event, thanks for making it a fun Valentine's Day surprise! They sold me two bottles and I really like that gin so that's their W. The rest is for consideration. Gotta give em the full 5 stars. Keep your nose to the grindstone, Piggies, you've got a good thing going!
