I was robbed of my time and money. The plumber that was sent charged me $200 to open my living…read moreceiling because water was leaking from my bathroom from the upper level. The money wasn't the problem- it's what the plumber said to me. He didn't want to tare up the drywall in the laundry room, which is next to the bathroom where the leak was coming from. There was a musty smell coming from the laundry room so it made sense to me that he should remove the drywall. He didn't want to do it, but it was okay to pull a few pieces of drywall from the ceiling and charge me $200. When he opened up the ceiling, the same musty smell was coming through the ceiling. He said, "this smell is really bad, I need to get out of here." I think your problem is the tub. He referred a water mediation company to do some mediation work since a part of the ceiling was saturated. He had the audacity to say, "The water mediation company will be able to diagnose the problem. We will come back to fix it if you want us to." Are you serious? I called Kinnett, a plumbing company, to get a diagnosis and fix the problem. He was either incompetent or just didn't want to do the job. In all fairness, the company offered to send someone else after the mediation work was done. I didn't want to risk getting another lazy or incompetent plumber so I called Reddick and Sons. They sent a seasoned plumber who determined the problem after the mediation company removed the drywall in the laundry room. It turns out that I need a diverter.

Eric said he had a tool that could snake this drain and he'd charge us nothing if he couldn't get it done. The price he quoted was a little steep, but since he gave us the guarantee or free offer, we took him up on it. Eric came right on time to snake our 74 year old tub drain. He pulled out a nasty hair clog as promised. When he was done he and asked us if we needed anything else while he was there. We are very happy to have our tub drain clear after years of having it back up. The price we paid was a little high, but much cheaper than replacing the old pipes. And for the money I was happy to have an honest plumber who knows what he is doing come out right on time and deliver. He did the job as promised and we are happy customers. Thanks Eric.

I just have to say it bluntly - 2 guys came in, I showed them my laundry room, flooded from an old,…read morebacked up drain. My shop vac was to the right of us as I was using it to get the water up the day before. I told them I can use it myself, they said no no sir, we have our own shop vac we'll use to get the water up. They said verbatim "we'll take care of the water." Well, they did not. They cleaned the lines doing the hydro jet and apparently got my dad to cut them a check while leaving my laundry room and the adjacent bathroom, flooded with nasty-soot filled water. It's amazing how they didn't check with me prior to finishing, they just told my pops who's 77 and struggles to get downstairs they were finished, and we took them at their word. I guess if they checked with me, I would have asked them to suck up the water, hm starting to make sense now? Don't cut corners: if someone says one thing to me directly, makes me trust them only to avoid following through, makes me want a chunk of my money back. Then, when I called and spoke to Malinda to get answers as to why they left the area flooded and in worse condition, they had the audacity to say it was like that before they got there and that I needed to call I sanitation specialist because they don't deal with that. It ain't your fault Malinda, but damn how do you make a mess and not take responsibility for it? I appreciate your companies response time in getting out here, but my before and after pictures speak for themselves: you didn't finish the job properly, and the two guys who came out knew they weren't done but took advantage of me in that I was not the one paying. They lied to my father, said they were done and left. Now I'm stuck with puddles in my carpet outside the bathroom. Shake my damn head. Thousand bucks for 30 minutes of work, and they couldn't do what they said and get the water off the floor. There's more water and sewage in places it's never been, appreciate the warning. Why would you guys assure me you'll do something, only to not do that one thing. Now you guys suggest calling another company to clean the mess yall made. Who does that.. it's evident you do not care about your customers.

A few months later, I needed to replace the guest bathroom toilet and I called Julio who performed the job, although when I told friends how much I paid for the job, they advised me to get a second opinion next time as I overpaid for the service. This week, the same guest bathroom toilet had a leak coming from the water tank (after it was installed in March 2023) and, as always, I called Julio to take a look at it. He came to our place on the same day, provided the initial assessment of the issue and went to get the part needed for the repair. At that point, the issue was a minor leak, and there was not a crack on the water tank or anything major. I did not have any issues when he mentioned he was going to replace the entire flushing assembly for something that seemed relatively minor. When he came back to start the repair, I asked him to provide me with the estimated price for the job. The price he provided me was unreasonable for the simple issue he diagnosed earlier, and I told him that I appreciated his time but that I would need a second opinion as I did not expect to spend hundreds of dollars for that type of repair. This was the first time I questioned his price estimate for a job, but he did not like that, and he made sure to tell me that in a very unprofessional way. I was disappointed/surprised by his attitude, but he decided to perform the service for a more reasonable price. After this unfortunate experience, the toilet continued to leak, so I called someone else, who fixed it for free as it was a simple issue to resolve.
