I was at the mercy of finding a reliable and legit repair company for my refrigerator. I came across High Tech Services and of course took the time to read the reviews as I just recently dealt with a bad company SoCal Tech in North Hollywood that was actually referred from LG company. I sent a request quote to High Tech Services and had in mind that I will get a response back the following day, Monday. Within about 15mins I got a response from Adel and provided their availability and my husband even called and spoke to him regarding our fridge issue. Adel was very knowledgeable and showed that he puts his customers first and he even made it sooner to have his technician come out and see what the issue was and see if it can be repaired. His tech came out first thing Monday morning and communicated quickly when I reached out for any other questions. I am glad I was able to have their service to check out the issue on my fridge. The tech was professional/gave his business card and honest about the repair and what costs would be vs. thinking of buying a new fridge. I'm still without a working fridge at the moment but relieved to know what exactly the problem is with my fridge. They came out quickly to do the job. They were on time and were friendly, knowledgable and efficient. Adel also noticed some wiring that was not to code (that a previous handyman had done) and corrected it. He provided me with pictures of what needed to be done (in terms of wiring in the attic) and post job. He is a real professional. If you need an electrical contractor they are the best. My only criticism is that they didn't clean up after the job (installing a bath fan). They left the box for the fan and plaster debris (from cutting a place in the ceiling for the fan) for me to clean up. read more

I am a retired Engineer that typically fixes any electrical problems around the house. We've had a non-working Air Conditioner since last September that we chose to wait until before this summer to have repaired. I troubleshot the problem to a shorted compressor and over the last 2 months we've had no less than 5 people come in and give us estimates to repair the AC. Two technicians told me it was a bad capacitor and changed them. Although I was hoping this was the problem because it would've been a cheap solution, the fixes didn't work and after this I never hear back from the two technicians (left several messages). I got another guy that charged me $100 to troubleshoot the problem, which he did (told me it was a shorted compressor, which I already knew). He was supposed to give me quote, but again, I never heard back from him. Then I got serious and contacted COSTCO, which gave me a quote of $9000 to replace the AC unit. This was a lot more than I was willing to spend, so I called High Tech Services. Sam and Josef came in and within 20 minutes told me what the problem was and that they would give us a quote to replace the compressor and another to replace the entire AC unit. Sam was apologetic that they couldn't fix the problem the same day. The next day he sent me the 2 quotes and we opted for replacing the AC unit because it wasn't much more than replacing the compressor and we would get a 5-year warranty. The next day they came back and within 2 hours they had a working new AC unit for almost 1/3 what COSTCO has quoted us. They were very professional and friendly. I asked them to take a look at 2 other problems that l was having with a continuously running air vent and a range hood vent. They troubleshot these two problems within minutes and did not want to charge me for their time! These guys are amazing! They are great troubleshooters, very professional, polite and reliable. I have already recommended them to my next door neighbor who needs a certified technician to install a replacement AC unit under warranty. I e-mailed Adel on a Sunday and got an almost immediate response. I liked how he communicated. By the end of the day I had arranged a visit from him to my house for Monday morning. He showed up when he said he would. I had a fairly freaky issue with the electric on my dryer. Voltage was not being delivered properly to the dryer and it would not start. The readings showed 240 volts, but would drop lower at odd times. Adel knows enough about electricity and how it should work and he sorted out where the source was. If I could give Adel 10 stars I would. I'm not saying that everyone will have this experience, but I put a message out to him asking for an estimate and he wrote back saying he could swing by in 15 minutes. I couldn't believe it. I have been looking for an electrician for several months and then Abel took care of every electrical need in one day. I had many projects that needed to be taken care of over a period of time and he just took care of each job, it was a lot!! I had a very complicated electrical project that I had two other electricians here trying to figure out, and Adel solved it. Called up first thing in the morning, spoke to Adel, told him that we had a stuck pull chain fan switch and wanted to change it out, if possible, to become remote controlled. Adel and his team were incredible. The recessed lights that we got were put in perfectly, and we love how the work turned out. They also did a great job repairing a breaker panel and installing circuits for appliances that the previous owner of our place had done poorly. We feel much better about all of our electrical components after Adel and his team did their work. We were out of town and came home to no AC and a 90 degree house on Labor Day! We tried several HVAC companies including the one that had just done some repairs on our fan unit. We either got no answer or no one was available. After speaking with Adel at High Tech Services, he offered to be here Within 1/2 hour. He spent at least an hour replacing the starter, cooling down the overheated condenser and really trying to figure out what the problem could be. He was able to get our AC working and suggested that we contact the guy who had recently replaced the fan motor because the fan was bent and needs replacing. For coming out here on a holiday evening, I was afraid that we were going to have to pay an outlandish fee for the work. Adel was honest and his fee was very fair. If the guy who replaced the motor won't fix the problem, I will be calling High Tech to do so and I will definitely be contacting them in the future for HVAC, electrical and appliance issues. read more

I asked High Tech to come out to repair my dishwasher and oven. Very friendly service, with a quick turn around time for an appointment. The service call is free, at which point they give you an estimate for the work. My oven needed a new computer. Adel (the owner) gave me a couple of different options for the repair. I went with the more affordable option, being that this breakdown is taking place so close to the holidays. The repairmen who came out to do the work were friendly and polite, quick, and very helpful. They even helped me clean behind the stove because I couldn't reach! Excellent service all around. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. We had a problem with the jets in our bathtub. There was no power going to the outlet. They responded to my inquiry in less than an hour and came to my house that night to assess the problem. I suggested they come the next day, but they just wanted to stop by that night to see if they needed to order any parts so that they could have them for the next day. They didn't need any parts, left and came back the next day as promised with a crew of 3 people. It took them several hours and a lot of work to fix the problem as hour house was actually wired incorrectly, but they walked me through everything that they were doing and kept me updated as they went along. They got the power supply back up and running and cleaned up after themselves. I realized the next day that one of our outlets had no power. I texted the owner and he was at our house within 30 minutes to fix it and was very apologetic. 2 days later, my refrigerator went out. Again, I sent them a text at 7am. They gave me a window of 10 - 12 that same day. They arrived at 9:59am and had it fixed by 10:15. I can attest they are great as electricians and with appliance repair. read more
