They were going to install a new alternator in my vehicle and advised that they would let me know if I needed a new tensioner once they inspected it. After inspection they said a new tensioner was needed and it would be 3 hours labor for a total of $576. I called 2 other places (including a dealer) and they both said if you are replacing the alternator there really was no additional labor to replace the tensioner pulley as it only has 2 bolts. I actually called Macs back and discussed this with them and they wouldn't budge off their price. Long story short I took it to another shop (pretty big outfit) and saved $475 (This was the Troy Location)

The specs I gave them were EXACTLY the same as was given to several other contractors. Custom Garages of Va's Quoted $ 93,000. The others were out of state in Pa. And were one half the price at the mid $ 40's. They May do good work but the customer is getting totally ripped off by them. Stay Away !!
