The Sundowner is the best turkey sandwich in town.
Tim H.

NOT coming back. $38 (not including tip) for 2 sandwiches, no chips, & no drinks. Why 5 stars? Well, the portion was large. The ingredients seemed fresh & it tasted great. The kitchen looked clean from the register, and the staff was very kind. Other than the price, I just see no reason to give a lower review. I just can't afford to eat here again. High Nooner has been here in Spokane forever, and I wish them well.

High nooner sandwich with cream of asparagus soup

Just picked up lunch ordered the High Nooner sandwich with cream of Asparagus soup! What a great lunch and lady who took my order was super friendly and the food was delicious! Highly recommend 10/10! Did I mention how delicious the soup was!

My company always orders High Nooner for lunch trainings. What a great surprise for my first day with the credit union.! I ordered the Club Nooner, not realizing it was massive with three slices of freshly baked French bread. I should have only ordered the half sandwich. It's definitely enough for two meals. It was well sauced which is what I love. A good quality of turkey and bacon. Because the bread is so soft, the sandwich does tend to fall apart, but it's a delicious mess. My sandwich came with a chocolate chip cookie, which is an added bonus . I would definitely order from High Nooner again, and they deliver!

The food at this establishment was phenomenal!!! I ordered "The Cowboy", coleslaw and a fountain drink. My friend and I shared a cream cheese brownie. The sandwich was delicious! The tomato was cut in a way that made it so it didn't slip off the bread, a problem I commonly find. I complemented the ranch dressing that was included with mayo to create a creamy sauce. The coleslaw was top of the line, and there was enough served that I wasn't wishing for more after it was gone. The meal came with a complimentary cookie, chocolate chip. The fountain drink was served in a 24oz cup that didn't have a lid, which made it difficult bringing my refill home. The meal was brought in a paper bag allowing me to bring the leftovers home. The dining area was beautiful, the customer service was great and the food was delicious!

My sandwich was very good. I love a sandwich with sprouts. They are on the expensive side for a sandwich. My sandwich cost just under $18, and that is all I got. My Pic is one-half of the sandwich. It doesn't come with chips or drink for that cost. The inside is clean. The service is good. You order at the counter and they will bring it to your table.

The Unforgettable Nooner on GF bread! Heaven between two slices.

I've had my eye on these sandwiches for a while. Due to the hours it took a while to snag the goods. Boy am I impressed. This is the TOP sandwich in Spokane. Unforgettable Nooner. We were there today at peak lunch hours and got two GF sandwiches to go. Service was quick. Plenty of room to sit with large booths. A fast lunch spot. Sandwiches were heaven on earth. We've ordered two GF sandwiches, unforgettable nooner and the club. Phenomenal. It has been years since I've had a sandwich so remarkable. Will be a staple for lunch cravings in Spokane. TOP GEM of Spokane, Maybe the best sandwich in this LIFE: Unforgettable Nooner--Turkey, Avocado, Bacon, Sprouts, Tomato, cream cheese.

The best sandwiches in town. AND what doesn't taste amazing with BACON on it. High Nooner Egg Salad * Cream Cheese * Mayo * Bacon * Tomato * Lettuce on Wheat I've tried so many sandwiches from here, and they never disappoint. A half sandwich fills me right up, but why not get a full and enjoy the other half later. You can build your own sandwich too, and they have a selection on breads to choose from as well as a gluten-free menu. They have baked goods, like cookies and brownies, and variety of chips and beverages. You're next lunch outing needs to be here in downtown Spokane and close enough to grab your sandwich and walk to River Front Park. #lunchinthepark

Afternooner

Love me a good deli sandwich and this place did not disappoint. Afternooner was delicious and a 1/2 portion was plenty for one lunch. Hubs enjoyed his cheesesteak. The bow tie was solid but pretty heavy on the mayo/sauce. Will go back!

Turkey on sourdough with sprouts and lobster bisque! Get it

This place is a gem... walked in and was immediately greeted from the front door! Got a turkey with spouts and lobster bisque and I'd like to bath in the soup with the sandwich as a snack! Come here had my food within 3 minutes... not kidding

Matthew was very helpful and kind when I called in a pizza order to be picked up. They don't offer…read moredelivery but Matthew gave me some third party options; ie Grub hub and another outfit that was a local company. The large pizza was exactly that! LARGE! And delish! Both the house and Greek salads we also ordered were very good. I would definitely go back.

My family and I visited Geno's Pizza excited to try a new pizza place, expecting to enjoy a nice…read moremeal together. Unfortunately, what we experienced was incredibly frustrating, unprofessional, and deeply upsetting family night out. When we arrived, there was a line dancing class getting ready to start. We were seated and ordered two pizzas, cheesy bread, and a side of red sauce. We also informed our waitress that we planned to place a to-go order once our food arrived. We waited about 40 minutes without receiving our food. During that time, we watched people arrive and participate in the line dancing class. Eventually, another waitress approached us and offered to take our order. At that point I became concerned that our order had not even been started. She refilled our water and told us she was already clocked out. We waited another 20 minutes. We still had no food, and we couldn't smell or see any indication that our order was being prepared. We tried to get the attention of the waitress who had refilled our water, but she was enjoying her evening, drinking wine with a friend. We had no idea who was responsible for helping us or how to cancel our order, so we made the decision to leave. As we were walking to our car, the off-the-clock waitress came outside and threatened to call the police if we did not pay for our order. She claimed we had only been there for 20 minutes and had left before the kitchen could prepare our food. This was completely inconsistent with our experience of waiting approximately an hour. I sent my family to the car and returned inside to explain what had happened. The waitress stated that the restaurant had cameras so I asked her to review the footage to verify how long we had been there. I also requested to speak with a manager only to be told that the manager was not there. She initially apologized and offered to give us our food for free. However, after speaking with the cook and realizing our order included more than one pizza, she changed the offer to 50% off and assured me the pizzas were fresh. I paid for the order accepted her apology but when she placed the order in my hands I realized that the food was cold. When we got home we discovered that at least one slice of the pepperoni pizza was missing. What makes this experience especially upsetting is that we are an interracial family and being confronted and threatened with police involvement over a situation that could have been handled through basic communication and customer service was disturbing to say the least. I cannot speak to the waitress's intentions but the way we were treated left us feeling disrespected, unwelcome, and deeply uncomfortable. We understand that mistakes and delays can happen at any restaurant but what matters is how a business communicates with its customers and resolves problems. We were patient, we communicated our intentions, and we tried to handle the situation reasonably. Instead, we experienced poor communication, an unnecessary confrontation, questionable food quality, and a missing slice of pizza after paying for our order. This was not just about waiting for pizza. It is about how my family and I were treated when things went wrong. We went in hungry and excited to support a new restaurant and left feeling angry, disappointed, and disrespected. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Geno's Pizza, and we will not be returning. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously and addresses both the customer service issues and the way this situation was handled.
