I recently bought a battery here and when I went home to charge it, it never turned on. When I went to exchange it for another one at the store they told me it was my fault, without even looking at it. It was a $5 item. I will never give these people my money again. read more

Low quality items, rude staff. They do not stand behind the cheap products they sell. No thanks! read more

The worst smoke shop in Cornelius. Bad product selection and horrible customer service. Got sold faulty items and couldn't get my money back or even an exchange. read more

This is my second favorite store to go to, I usually frequent the one in charlotte since it's closer to my work. Wonderful staff, well educated on there products. I normally come here every other two weeks to stock up on my lost Mary vapes. But they have a lot of other products as well. read more

Store has definitely gone down hill in the past few months. Katie and Montana are the one star, they are the best but the lack of selection and store policies are kind of ridiculous. Alyssa, the district manager, is cold and hasn't listened when I've come in before. read more

Horrible business and the people that work here might be worse. Sold me a defective item and wouldn't take it back as a return. Person at the front told me to kick rocks. Take your business to the better smoke shop right down the street read more

I come into High Life almost everyday to buy something, they always have new products every week, an they always seem to switch it up, the manager an staff are super nice an always greet me when I come in! This is by far the best smoke shop in the Huntersville/Cornelius area, best prices, great customer service, an a all around great place to go! read more

Bought a rechargeable vape, never charged. Had it for 2 days and they wouldn't exchange or give any refund. Wanted me to pay for an entire new product when theirs didn't ever work properly to begin with read more

I've come here 3 times for vapes/d8 crate and each time the staff seems really annoyed that I'm there. I get it's work but I get a bad vibe when I walk in there. Honestly I go to apotheca now which is up the street everyone there is always so nice and they have most of the same things as highlife. Just don't bother with this place they don't seem to want you there anyway :/ read more

SLEAZY DISHONEST BUSINESS WITH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Unless you want to be STOLEN FROM, do NOT shop here. After a promised refund never posted to my bank account, I spent HOURS on the phone, in the store, and emailing back-and-forth with managers and owners only to be told they would not be refunding my money. I am currently in the process of filing in small claims court. Will never shop here again. read more

Great selection of vape and tobacco products. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Always a few customers inside whenever I go, but the staff takes care of everyone quickly and never leaves me waiting long. Prices are reasonable and I appreciate their $5 off purchases over 25$ read more

Shopped here on and off for years with no issue until recently. Stay away from any vapes or anything with electronics. I was sold a cheap cartridge vape pen that didn't work out of the box and was refused an exchange or store credit the very next day when I returned it. It was only $10 so I chalked it up to being a cheap Chinese POS, so the sales lady did an excellent job selling me on an exxus snap which was $40 but came with a lifetime warranty or so I was told. The device itself was fantastic until it broke. I went to the location and politely explained my situation hoping for a simple exchange and was told that I had to do the warranty through the manufacturer and oh by the way it's only a one year warranty. So not only was I sold a warranty that the company I bought the product from promised I was lied to about the coverage of said warranty. I explained to the sales lady that this was an inconvenience to me because it would leave me without a vape while I waited for a replacement. She was rude and told me to pound sand it so many words. I will never go back or spend my money with a company that refuses to stand behind the products it sells. Furthermore either the sales person could have offered me some kind of compensation, even a partial discount on a new product of the same style and didn't in which case the customer service is lacking OR there really was nothing she could do in which case the management doesn't trust their employees judgement or integrity in making customer service decisions. Either way I'll stick to literally any other smoke shop in the area and will encourage my friends to do the same. Stay away from their cheap Chinese junk read more

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER WITH THE RUDEST STAFF EVER. My house just burnt down and I told them I could show a photo of my ID. They still refused to sell me anything. My dad then came in with his ID and credit card and they still refused to sell us anything. By the way I am a 25 year old Product Designer, I have worked for some of the largest hemp and marijuana companies in LA. After this horrible experience I went down the street to Apotheca who couldn't have been more friendly. They have so much more of a variety and the kindest staff. read more

Usually an awesome experience, had one bad experience with an employee who does not work here any longer but besides that every time I go here it's great! Great customer service and nice employees with the best selection to chose from, much recommended! read more

I'd give no stars if that was an option. These guys have no clue what they're talking about! I'm a beginner with vape and they almost destroyed my lungs. They started me out at 50mg! I think they thought it was pretty funny or they were getting high off their own supply as they were laughing pretty hard. Either way they probably wouldn't be chuckling from behind the counter. Just sayin. No one knows which vape juice is good for which device. It's a hot mess there! Never again. And either will anyone I talk to. Peace out Highlife! read more

Y'all dope asf no cap. Chill staff that knows there shit. Fave smoke shop ever. Had problems with my torch I got there and they replaced it right away. Y'all the shit read more

First off, they lied and sold me a counterfeit Magic-Flight Launch Box. I have proof of this happening. Also, the fake Launch Boxes are known to have many workability/safety problems. Check out their website counterfeit list. http://www.magic-flight.com/counterfeit-page.php So my "brand-new" Launch Box never really worked that well, but then just stopped working completely. Then when I went back to complain. The girl behind the counter opened it up, and I swear to you, ACTAULLY ADDIITTED TO ME THAT SHE KNEW IT WAS FAKE (she knew this because she had sold them/seen them before), but I would have to wait because she would have to call her manager of course. No response for 2 weeks. Went back in again. I was then told (by the same girl) that they check all their products before they place them on the floor to be sold. So basically that I must of broken it by myself and they couldn't do anything for me. Can you believe that? She also told me very nonchalantly that they "unfortunately" (her word), sell quite a few "fake" items. I am not exaggerating or making ANY of this up. So please check out the website above and think twice before you make any large purchases with this store...I leave you with a quote from Magic Flight's website... "These counterfeit Boxes sell for much cheaper, perform poorly, and in some cases can be detrimental to your health." I trusted these people and I will never make that mistake again. I honestly hope you think about it before you make any large purchases from this company. read more

I pull up today with the best looking girl in town. she buys me a puff bar which are usually fire (my favorite flavor is pomegranate). they were out of it this time sadly. she buys me a lush ice and strawberry but I let her keep the strawberry and I'm currently suffering with the lush ice because its dog shit. take it off the shelves read more

I went to this store for the first time yesterday. My friend was in town and wanted to stop there so we did. The employees were very passionate, knowledgable, and helpful with everything in the store. We ended up going back a second time in the same day. Everything they have is a very good price, especially compared to most shops of the same kind. A tank that someone tried selling me at a vape shop in Boone for $38 I got here for $23, and on top of that they have a 10% student discount. Definitely check this place out! read more

one of my fave places to go when i'm home!!! christian and sara were so helpful~ customer service can't b beat

this company is really bad they sold me a 200 $ water pipe and the piece broke not even a week after i bought it .i pulled the down stem out and the piece and it broke.I had never dropped it or bumbbed it i was very careful with it .so it must of had a hairline frachter when i bought it . i called the store (HIGH LIFE) and the woman informed me Quote=(Glass breaks what do you want me to do about it?)as i responded i would like to get eahter a discount on another peace as of obvious manufacture defect and she said no ,I cant give everyone with a defect a refund or and type of discount at all.she was verry rude . I will never go back to this store and i plan on tellling everyone i know about this issue they should not be selling hairline frachtered peices to anyone!they shouldn't be selling broken products .DO NOT GO HERE NO MATTER WHAT! ....VERY SHADDY BUSINESS!! read more
