I made the trek to this shop, and not am I glad I did. The young man working there greeted me as soon as I walked in. I didn't know what to expect so I asked him for help on herbs for certain things and he was able to offer his recommendations and made me a complimentary cup of tea, which I thought was so nice! I went to the tea wall and grabbed some herbs and tea blends. They have such a big selection and I love it! They also have a ton of hemp items, which I'll look into for another time! The shop was well stocked and organized, there were so many things to look through. You can really take your time and just admire the art and jewelery they have on display. The gentleman who helped me was really nice. I can see myself becoming a regular here ave trying some things out!

I just experienced the main sales floor, but I can say that this place is merchandised so nicely and it's very well kept. On top of that.... It smells really great inside. I take my mom to the hairdresser next door, and I had a bit of a sore throat, so I stopped in. On the suggestion of the sales individual, I tried a cup of their apple cinnamon tea. The tea was warm and it was overpriced at 5 bucks. While I was there I asked a lot of questions that are probably different or more elementary than most of their clients. While the clerk was very knowledgeable, he wasn't very nice and I really felt uncomfortable during my visit here. This place may be a bit too trendy for a regular degular, gender conforming, meat eating, black girl from NYC like me. I had to request everything that should have been standard offerings. A bag for my purchases, something to sweeten my tea, as well as a receipt.... Which he was glad to tell me that they don't provide. "This is a paper free establishment," he said with obvious pride. What he didn't mention is that there was no receipt even emailed to me, which I thought was going to happen. While I was there, I purchased a gift for someone who would appreciate these offerings, but $50 plus a tip later, I know this place isn't a space for someone like me.

I'm a huge fan of the Aldi system. Once you get inside their processes, it can work very well for…read moreyou. Start with having a quarter for a shopping cart. You'll get it back at the end when you bring it back to the cart corral. Inside the store, they have about 80% of the things you need for a full shop. Very little variety in brands or sizes or styles, but they have the stuff. Meats are already cut and wrapped and priced. I think their steaks are a fabulous deal and I've never had a bad one. Veggies are great though the avocados are typically very underipe. Tomatoes, celery, apples, all great! Dry and canned goods, they've got bunches. Brands you've probably never heard of but it's pretty close to the same quality as the brands you have heard of. At the register, you'll be bagging the groceries yourself. Bring your reusable bags, buy bags from Aldi (not cheap) or you can use their cardboard boxes for free. They have been accepting credit and debit cards at the register for a while, which is a big plus for me! [Review 12967 overall, 283 of 2020.]

My lips cannot lie. I love Aldi. How can you not love a store that has affordable options?…read more Aldi always has lower prices on vegetables and produce compared to other stores. And they also have a few items on "produce of the week" and then you can get a really amazing deal on top of their inexpensive prices. Depending on the day of the week you come, you might have to carefully inspect your produce that is not in the refrigerated section. But I am finding that I have to do this at all grocery stores now. The chicken here is actually made by Tyson but because they don't label it with that, you can get it at much affordable price. The milk here is ALWAYS priced cheaper than compared to Wal-Mart. If you don't mind generic brand of cereals, less than $2.00 a box and most are less than $1.50 for a full size box. My son doesn't mind and he enjoys picking out his own cereal. If you are not familiar with Aldi, they do not carry a lot of different brands. It is how they can keep their costs down. And if you are looking for authentic German products you can find those here are as well. The bratwurst and sausages here are really quite good. And I really like their brand of paper towels and paper plates. So cheap and the quality is amazing. Just as good as the more expensive national brands. All in all, I love Aldi. I can get healthy choices for my family and all at affordable pricing. On a journey of trying to eat less processed food and Aldi definitely helps by not breaking my pockets in that process. Bring a quarter for your shopping cart and bring your own bags. If you forget your bags, you can buy bags from $0.10 - $0.79, depending on the type of bag you want.
