I talked to a couple of movers, and I didn't get good vibes (they were either way expensive or they just felt unreliable for whatever reason). But Roma not only was less expensive than most of the movers but they also were very interested in my business, even though I didn't have a lot to move. I estimated it would take about two hours, and the person I spoke to not only gave me an estimate of three hours (which I was fine with, since I lived on the third floor and I know wrapping and positioning furniture for moving can take a while) but said he wouldn't charge me more if it took more than three hours. It took almost exactly two hours, which is what I was charged for, and I couldn't ask for three better guys. They didn't just work hard, they worked fast, like they were in a competition to get my move done as quickly as possible. I would recommend Roma to anyone and everyone that's moving. These guys are wonderful. They're friendly, they walk you through exactly what you need for them to do, and they work their butts off. I've moved somewhat frequently, and I've never had a bad experience with movers fortunately. But these are the first movers I would give five stars to without hesitation. I cannot recommend them more highly.

I received a phone call from Alex at 7:43am, informing me that they had a couple call outs the night before, and they would have to cancel our move that day. He informed me they could do the move Monday, and asked if that would work for us. I said no, that Sunday would be acceptable. Alex informed me he would forward that information to the office and someone would be in touch. That was the last I heard from anyone at this company. I tried to reach out to him on Saturday evening to ask if they were going to be able to move us Sunday, and got zero response. Moving is a large stressful ordeal as it is, get a real professional moving company instead of dealing with these clowns. Their contract totally covers their ass with regard to the customer canceling, but offers no protection for the customer when and if they totally dissappear on you. Everything we own was packed and ready to go for our Saturday morning move, and we are left to try to find another company, on very short notice, to move us ASAP because of Alex and Roma Movings total incompetence, and lack of professionalism. Read the other bad reviews and sprint away from this company. At least they were never able to destroy our personal belongings like all the other bad reviews have stated.

Don was professional and sincere to convince me to get a sales rep inside to do a free onsite quote. They not only beat the price of the competitors, but everything arrived safely and intact 2 days after picking everything up. Their staff was professional and kind. The service I received was unprofessional and resulted in significant damage to my property due to the negligence and lack of experience demonstrated by the three-person crew. Despite a short five-minute drive between locations, the moving truck took 30 minutes to arrive. Upon inspecting my belongings, I discovered that my items had not been properly padded or secured during transport. Specifically, the dining room table base has substantial holes on two sides. Additionally, a wood sofa table fell apart during the move. It appeared that an unsuccessful and undisclosed attempt was made to repair the table before I saw it, which I find purposefully deceitful. The crew failed to disclose any of this damage until I pointed it out myself. Furthermore, I was disappointed that the crew attempted to take the 65-inch TV box, for which I specifically paid $125.00. Please review your records and confirm, your company Easy Movers Inc. did provide moving services for my family.

The men who served as my moving crew worked hard and were completely professional and capable. A couple of things went wrong, neither of which I could blame on the crew. I called the office the next day to complain about those things, and the response was a perfect example of customer service done right. I am not going to arouse suspicion by describing what went wrong and I am not going to create expectations by describing how they offered to make up for what went wrong. But if you hate moving half as much as I do, you need the professionalism of these good folks.

I moved from Ballantyne, NC, to South Park, NC. They didn't complete the move until the next day. They had to return to the residence because they lost the hardware from one bed. Also, they left items without wrapping. The next day, when they came back, once they had installed it, one of the guys asked for pay, and my card was declined because of my change in the zip code. There were three workers here, and there was no supervisor. Ok. So, when my card was declined, I called my husband, and he tried to give them a credit card number over the phone. They could not take that, and they became hostile. The guy insisted that he wanted the card physically. So, they said my husband needed to come here and give them the card. He was at a job site and could not leave. So, the guy started yelling at me and threatened to take my stuff. He walked room by room, looking at what he could take. They were three guys against two women. I said to the guy to leave my house. He refused to leave because he wanted to take my stuff, so I ran to the door to stop him from taking my belongings. My cousin called my husband, crying and looking at the situation. The guy was trying to intimidate me, so I called the police, and he decided to leave, but I stopped him because he had taken my stuff and was waiting for the police. The guy was out of control. My husband talked to the owner, and he told him to leave. We paid the bill for the move on Saturday morning, which was over $5000. I feel now traumatized by the situation. I feel like I was assaulted in my own house. You know how much stress it is to move from one place to another and care about your belongings. That's because we hired a service that says it is " professional." That was a big mistake; they are not what they say. For this horrible experience, I never recommend this company. I appreciate his persistence and I understand that mistakes happen and people deserve a second chance. So this last week he met up with me and did a great job!! I was very pleased and would recommend using him!
