There's something to be said for a place that is stylistically immaculate in both its decor and menu items. I've never heard of half the inventions on the menu (avocado gnocchi? yerba mate juice?) but the ones I've tried --and I've tried a lot-- are delicious and reach a depth in their flavors that is otherwise hard to find off the parrilla. Plan to stay a while when you come. It's not a grab-and-go kind of place (although there's a bakery next door if you do prefer that option). The decor as I mentioned before, is amazing. Mixed textures, painted walls, shelves filled with trinkets slapped with the restaurant's logo. All in all, a magical place for anyone who appreciates beauty in all forms and flavors.

A fantastic juice bar in San Telmo. The organic flavors may be a bit pricey by local standards but hey, if health is wealth, gotta pay the price, right?

Cute atmosphere. Great menu. I ordered the Detox and green juice. It was delicious. I'll be back again to try more items.

They recommend 10% tips. In my opinion very rude. Tips is something customers will pay for IF they get good service and a good experience.

The best place to enjoy healty and tasty food in BA in my opinion. Wide range of different dishes both for lunch and dinner. They make a lot of juices, smoothies etc. One of the better places for juice/smoothies I have tried, ever. A bit expensive maybe, but worth the money. Their portions are huge normally :) But one thing is annoying when you get the check. They recommend 10% tips. When can restaurants/bares or who ever who runs a business understand that tips is not something you should recommend to people to give. Tips is something customers will pay for IF they get good service and a good experience. (Just to make it clear, the people who work here gives good service as far as O have experienced)

As a vegan visiting Buenos Aires I tried many vegetarian/ vegan restaurants and this place definitely stood out. Very relaxed atmosphere, cute decor, and friendly service. They also have non-veg options. I came on a Saturday around 1pm and was seated immediately. There's outdoor and indoor seating. I started with a latte and they had two vegan milk options. I had the vegan sushi rolls and vegan quesadilla. I could barley finish the quesadilla after the rolls, but when you have the option to get a vegan quesadilla you go for it! Overall yummy and satisfying.

Pictured is the Italian eggplant & the bagel & grilled egg sandwich. However, I don't think you can go wrong with any of their dishes.

Delicious! The place is pretty pricey, but they give you a lot of food for your money. We originally wanted to do a brunch here; however, the price was a little too steep for us. We ended up getting lunch instead, which was outstanding. The ambiance of the cafe & location deep in San Telmo is the perfect escape from the rest of the city. They are doing a lot here with fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations that you often don't see in Buenos Aires. Don't miss their breads and bake goods either. Our walking tour ended here and we were free to dine, explore, etc…read more The Mercado de San Telmo is an indoor market place that has many small dining options, antiques shops, fruiting veggie stands and souvenir shops We weren't hungry so we decided to peruse the shop and see what they had to offer. My friend purchased some fresh figs from a stand - she said that they were good. After perusing a few more stores checking out some of the antiques, clothing and artwork we found thw place to just be uncomfortably hot. It was very busy early on Sunday afternoon so the crowd was substantial and with no air-conditioning, it was very warm. So we left soon thereafter. Perhaps if we were in the city longer, it would be worth returning amd spending a little more time looking around or getting small bites or drinks. You may want to include on your list of places to visit to decide for yourself.

Topping the list of things I wanted to experience in Buenos Aires was San Telmo Market (aka Mercado…read morede San Telmo), a national historic monument and market hall that's been around since 1897. Because I also wanted to experience the Sunday street fair (Feira de San Telmo) outside its doors I came, initially, on a Sunday. Big mistake. By all means, enjoy the street fair on a Sunday but by no means try to enjoy San Telmo Market that same day. By late afternoon, when I tried to enter the market hall (consisting almost entirely of food and drink purveyors), the place was so packed that one could barely move. The sole place I found with any space was an unoccupied stool in a wine bar so I plopped down and drank wine for the next 90 minutes, not an entirely bad idea. Getting food - let alone navigating myself around the place - seemed a task beyond my abilities. I left San Telmo Market vowing to return on a day when I could walk its aisles, see all of the places to eat and drink, and sit down to enjoy a meal. I did all of this on a weekday afternoon with success. The hall is filled with places to eat and drink (and really, not a lot more than that) and checking all of them out was fun. You could find similar food elsewhere in Buenos Aires but then you'd not be sitting inside a historic market hall. Make time for San Telmo Market but if you go on a Sunday, don't say you weren't warned.
