Had a wonderful dinner at Terrace Room and would absolutely recommend it. The restaurant itself is…read morestunning; beautifully designed with a modern feel, and the harbor views make for an incredible atmosphere. We started with the meatball appetizer, which was outstanding. The meatballs were incredibly light, tender, and flavorful, and the accompanying focaccia was just as impressive. It was fresh, crusty, and perfect for soaking up every bit of sauce. For my entrée, I ordered the rigatoni. The house-made pasta was cooked perfectly, and the slightly spicy tomato sauce had just the right amount of heat. The generous portion of sausage made the dish hearty without being overwhelming, and the portion size was spot on. My wife ordered the ravioli, which was served in a rich and creamy sauce that was absolutely delicious. Like my dish, the fresh, house-made pasta really stood out and elevated the entire meal. Between the beautiful setting, excellent service, and outstanding food, Terrace Room delivered a fantastic dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

I made a 6:30pm reservation and noted the occasion, and the staff sweetly sat us right by the window with a stunning view of Lake Michigan. I started the night with an Aperol Spritz. While their menu doesn't explicitly label items as gluten-free, I had called ahead and knew they could accommodate me. The appetizer options were a bit limited, so we shared the Brussels to start, followed by the corn and tomato risotto for my main, which was delicious. Our server was relatively new but incredibly attentive, even making sure to double-check with the kitchen that everything was safely GF. They offer multiple gluten-free options for mains and desserts, including GF pasta. We shared the ricotta cheesecake, and our server also brought out a complimentary chocolate mousse with orange slices and a birthday candle. Don't let the unlabeled menu scare you off--the staff is wonderful, the food is great, and you can't beat the lakeside view!

What an amazing dining experience…read more Every once in a while you find a special place that you'll never forget, for me No.6 is one such place. Let's start with the ambiance, it's very tasteful, give the ferm that it's trendy without being pretentious. The staff are amazing; Jay was an amazing and knowledgeable server, guiding me through the menu and specials for the day. He teamed up well with Robin. Together they ensure patrons leave satiated and satisfied. I started with a pre-dinner cocktail trying the amazing Iberian Cascade (white port, soda water, orange bitters and grapefruit and orange zest). It was sweet but refreshing. I next moved on to their cucumber martini which was DELISH and hit the spot for me. For my dinner I ordered Elk Medallions, medium rare. Cooked perfectly to temperature, tender very flavorful with a pear, brutal and caramelized reduction. It was paired with roasted potatoes and asparagus. It was heaven on a platter. I absolutely love red blends and they had a French red blend L'Agnotique Rouge which the subtle sweetness brought out more flavor in the elk meat. A meal this good would not be complete without dessert and I chose to enjoy a triple chocolate macadamia brownie. OMG BLISS! After I was finished the amazing chef came out apologized for a slight faux pas on the menu and asked how I enjoyed the meal. I hope the smile on my face told have her the answer. I would drive at least 100 miles out of my way to dine here again. This restaurant is a can't miss with a stellar reputation. I've asked several locals and the consensus was consistent that this restaurant is well regarded. Thank you for a most memorable dining experience.
