At the end of your round you can sit on the raised back deck that overlooks the course and parts of Healdsburg and enjoy a drink and some snacks. The practice range has been brought modern with computerized golf tracking machines that you can use to work on each club use or you can play distant courses virtually while actually striking the ball. There are even hosted events for the practice range. The prices are good and the events and instruction classes fill up fast. Don't miss out on this gem. You just feel good after you play this course.

I rarely played golf here, because the course was always in poor shape and it's only 9 holes. Well, that changed about a week ago. A buddy and I were looking to get out for a quick round and he suggest Healdsburg. Sure, why not I thought. I was very surprised at the current shape/condition of the course. Very nice. I even went back for another 9 a few days later to get in some work. The course has some challenging holes. I think there are only two holes where you aren't dealing with elevation. Staff was very helpful, nice. Also something you don't see much anymore. Before they send you down to the first tee, there is a box with scorecards and pencils...but also plastic ball markers, a divot tool and tees. The round with cart was pretty reasonable and pretty quick if you go early enough. Good job HGC!

I must say this is a gorgeous track with top notch facilities. The course if tough but fair. The greens are absolute perfection. Fairways are manicured. I think having mandatory caddies really help with the upkeep. Our group's caddies were Keith and Eric. Each caddy manages 2 bags. I suppose you can get a caddy for yourself, but I haven't played in months. This was just a chance to hangout with friends that I haven't seen so my game was below average. We played from the middle tees which is 6,156 yards with a 71.0/138 rating/slope. Pretty respectable for member's tees! After the round we enjoyed a nice Riesling wine accompanied with cheese and various small bites. I recommend sitting outdoor so you can take in the spectacular view. Their locker room is top notch complete with showers, steam room, toiletries and friendly staff to clean your shoes. I hosted numerous business meetings and events there as well as friend & family meals. The Staff go out of their way to make everyone feel special and every need attended to. From the practice facilities to the greens this place is PGA worthy! First tee box is 100+' above the fairway. Great way to start. Amazing clubhouse with no spared ammentities. Pristine condition to say the least. Lots of apparel and trinkets to choose from. Pulled up to the 18th tee box and was greeted by a staff member that cleaned our clubs and handed us chilled wash clothes as we exited the final hole. Pricey but worth every penny. Try and pick a day when it is not windy. Once it started it never let up.

Our foursome was approached twice by the course marshal about pace of play. After the first interaction, we made every effort to speed up (despite several holes that day being cart path only). We even offered to let the group behind us play through, and they declined. Despite that, we were approached again on the 10th hole in a way that felt hostile, condescending, and completely unnecessary. The interaction was so uncomfortable that we ended up skipping holes just to avoid being harassed again. After having spent $700 on green fees, food, drinks, and merchandise, this was not the experience I expected. What prompted this review on Yelp was the complete lack of customer service afterward. I took the time to send a detailed email to management recognizing the staff who were excellent and explaining what happened with the marshal. I received no response, not even an acknowledgment of my email. Unfortunately, this shows me how little they value my business.

Terrible past 2 visits, we're getting rushed per hole. We had started setting timers to not go past…read more15 min per hole, other patrons while playing would tell us to let them pass because they were playing fast but when they would pass us would slow down very significantly and my crew got spoken to multiple times. We were the only ones being rushed when there were high schoolers just on their phones taking their time and other as well going very slow. The groundskeepers were trying to do their thing and it would slow the pace a bit but the Marshalls didn't care. I really didn't wanna see it this way but we also happened to be the only Hispanic group and after the way we were being rushed and picked it it's pretty reasonable to assume not very nice things. Overall I've had great experiences at the course over the years but this newer staffing is very interesting.

One of my new favorite golf courses…read more It was my boyfriends birthday and we had afternoon plans so we arrived at 7:15 for a 7:40 tee time. I was happy to see the coffee shop was open. They were serving Starbucks coffee and I grabbed a drip coffee - it wasn't anything special but gave me the energy I needed. I was just along for the ride this time, so I can't speak much about the difficulty of the course. That said, the conditions of the course were great, and the views are even better. Our group finished all 18 holes in about 3 hours and 45 minutes. About two thirds of the way through the front 9, an employee brought us a new cart saying that ours was running low on battery. I appreciate that they were on top of that, as it would have been a bummer to get stuck with a dead cart. If you're looking for a scenic round of golf on the coast, this course is definitely worth a stop.

Bodega Bay golf links is a very-very difficult golf course. It is very hilly with many uneven lies…read morein the fairways. There is never a shot where the combination of your lie, elevation change and the wind factor hugely in your club selection. But getting to the green is only 1/2 the problem. The greens ( although somewhat smooth) are impossible to have success in putting. The greens are loaded with grain and there is absolutely zero consistency as to where it exists on the green. Zoom in on the last photo and you'll see what I am referring to. The darker areas are not wet or damp spots. That's how severe the grain is. Literally, you can have a 20 foot putt and have 3 maybe even 4 grain changes from ball to hole!!! The superintendent should get the vertical mower going asap.

Very unfortunate and preventable situation this morning. Booked a "hot deal" thru GolfNow so paid…read moremy 700 tee time online for $21.99. Get to the course and my reservation was not in their "system" which is a pen and paper system. The lady checking me in has no idea what I'm talking about. I show her my confirmation email stating that I paid 21.99 thru GolfNow and the "due at course" balance is 0. I also show her my bank statement showing the charge went thru. She says the $21.99 is the convenience fee. I tell her that there's no way I would pay 21.99 for a convenience fee. She tells me to tee off and to talk to her boss after the round. I go to use the bathroom before my round and she says her boss is here so I can talk to him now. Again. I explain the situation, show him the confirmation email, my bank statement and how the balance "due at course" is zero. He says that it's not right and that I have to call GolfNow myself to figure it out. All this happening 10 minutes before my tee time. He takes another look at the confirmation email and realizes that it's a 700 tee time which is their "hot deals" tee time I guess. He yells across the pro shop at the original lady that all 700 tee times are paid for if people book thru GolfNow. The only apology I got was an "our bad". I feel bad for the original lady who tried to check me in. She obviously was not trained properly which is not her fault. I was irritated that the "boss" told me that I had to contact GolfNow myself to figure it out. Why use a third party vendor if you don't know how it works?? It's not on the consumer to waste their time to "figure it out" for you. This was my first and last time playing this course. I wanted to like this course since I'll have weekdays off now and wanted to walk a quick 9 on the those days. I'd rather pay the bridge toll and drive to Buchanan fields in concord!

When you're sitting in one of the natural hot spring pools or hitting the cold dips at the spa, it really does feel like world-class luxury. Between the mud slides, the gravity chairs, and the fitness classes, you can easily spend your whole trip without leaving the gates. The Food: Solbar is a must. We had the seven-course New Year's Eve prix fixe with wine pairings over numerous years, and each were equally unique and incredible. It's that perfect balance of farm-to-table "health" food and total comfort dishes. For something more low-key, Picobar by the pool has some of the best Baja-style tacos I've had in NorCal. Plus, the whole place is super dog-friendly, which is a huge win for us. The Experience & Pro-Tip: Definitely book through AmEx Platinum if you can. We used the Fine Hotels + Resorts program and snagged a $300 credit, a late 4 p.m. checkout, and an automatic upgrade. I will say, even "perfect" places have their off moments. This year, despite requesting a room close to the spa months in advance (and confirming twice), they initially tucked us away at the far edge of the property. I wasn't thrilled about hiking across 22 acres in my robe and sandals! I spoke with the front desk, and the concierge actually went back and reviewed my recorded calls to verify the request. They did move us about 30 minutes later to a spot half the distance away, though it lacked the private fenced patio and fireplace of our original booking. I was too tired to keep fighting it and just wanted to get to the spa, so I settled in. Despite that hiccup, the service and the atmosphere here remain some of the best in the world. It's not cheap, but for the memories and the access to Napa's best vineyards, it's worth it every time. Can't wait to be back next year.

Compared to Stanly, the rates for rooms were more expensive while I felt the Stanly offered a much better campus. Despite the comments about the campus, the food onsite was pretty good and the reviews will be posted in their respective pages. The room service could have been better as they missed delivery of the pre-ordered breakfast in the morning as the night shift didn't properly fill in the order request and didn't get placed, but the team quickly remedied the situation and delivered not too long after our original request time. The rooms were comfy with a good layout, but the garden out back were covered with fences and it didn't feel as freeing as Stanly Ranch's rooms where the back patio is uncovered. Overall, I'd visit Stanly or Auberge du Soleil when going back to the Napa area.

There might be something similar outside a vineyard in Yalta, Russia. 3) I love Lake County for its natural beauty, its authentic people, its agriculture and a growing wine and beer industry. 4) The Riviera offered a good chance to see some old time rock'n'rollers (called Without a Net) execute many of the cover tunes I would request anyway, from Santana to the Doors to Dylan. Great crowd, good vibe. I would go back.
