It was very cozy and had great amenities, including our own bathroom and kitchenette. I adored the little porch of our cottage. It was a great spot for stargazing at night. The grounds are very peaceful and quiet, and you can catch sight of some critters wandering around the grounds sometimes. My husband and I had a few animal sightings here, including a deer right outside our cottage! The facilities include a pool, a garden, a studio (which wasn't offering any classes due to COVID), archery, hiking trails, fire pits, and even a wood-fire oven you can use for cooking pizza! They also have bikes and water activities which were free to use. The hiking trails have vista points where you can meditate or catch a beautiful sunset or sunrise. There's something really peaceful about getting up super early in the morning to watch the sun rise and nature wake up along with it. Some things to note (from what I can remember): -No cooking meat or eggs on the grounds. -No pets allowed. -No drinking or smoking. I'm not really an outdoors person. I usually prefer to travel to places with more activities and sights to see, so we also explored the towns around the lake nearby besides just staying here the whole weekend. But I appreciated the nature and tranquility that Mandala Springs offered. It's perfect if you're looking for a short weekend getaway from city life.

They have discounts for military / law enforcement (even retired). After that, it seems to go down hill. The carts are old and worn. There are no trash cans on the course. Why? People were placing their empty cans/bottles on the half barrels hole description / markers. There is no sand in the bunkers. A lot of the cart paths are in dire need of repair. There was no water available on the course. They had the little huts, but no coolers inside. It was 90 degrees today. No drink cart on the course. No water on the course. That's insane. The course is still challenging and fun to play, but seriously...it could be so much better. Especially considering the location it's in. They seem to be riding on the fumes of the reputation they had decades ago.

Ruva and Irene were helpful every step of the way and made sure all of our questions were answered and were a big help with some of the vendors we ultimately went with. The venue looked beautiful the day of and the flow of event was smooth and on point. The food was delicious (by account of our guests) and the open bar we had was well worth it! Staff and everyone else involved were pleasant and accommodating. The table settings were set up exactly how we requested both in terms of decoration and seating chart wise. We would recommend this venue to any couple because they are also fairly new and learning from every event that happens, they can only get better!

I called AR Weddings N Events one evening around 8:30 PM and AnnaMarie answered - first try! From this first call, I knew in my heart that I found the most amazing wedding coordinator. AnnaMarie is responsive, punctual, resourceful, flexible, kind, and compassionate. And of great importance, she is calm and creates calmness around her. I was clueless in terms of what is needed for a seamless and successful wedding, and AnnaMarie proceeded to explain all of the moving pieces in a wedding puzzle. Her vendors are amazing too -- DJ, flowers, photography, videography, and "Date Of"coordinators--all extremely professional, kind, and caring. AnnaMarie helped with every imaginable detail: color coordination, decor, rentals, dinner service, balloons, photo backdrop, and more. She helped us with a wedding timeline that made sense and kept the guests happy and entertained. She also helped with cleanup and made sure we got our full venue deposit back. On the day of the wedding, any time I thought of something and instinctively started to do it (I'm a mother!!), one of her coordinators would swiftly intercept me and say, "I've got this," and send me back to enjoy our guests. She and her team took care of EVERYTHING--all with smiles, compassion, and warmth. The wedding was magical and beautiful--so many guests said they were in AWE and that our wedding was one of the best (if not THE BEST) wedding they've ever attended. Thank you AnnaMarie and the entire AR Weddings N Events family for making our very special daughter's Disney Frozen dream wedding come true--down to the last snowflake! We love you!

But to my surprise, both the rehearsal and wedding day were completely stress-free! Christina, Taylor, and the entire team truly took care of me and my loved ones from start to finish. And can I just say -- my guests had so much fun! From the overflowing drinks at the bar, the gorgeous and spacious venue, to the amazing food during cocktail hour and dinner -- everything was absolutely perfect. I honestly couldn't have imagined a better day. Thank you so much, Hiddenbrooke Hills team!

Elite Package Ok…read moreit's a long one but if you're going to invest money anywhere I think it could be helpful to make an informed decision. So overall I think the concept and idea of all inclusive planning is cool and can help ease some wedding planning stresses but throughout, I've explained it (when people ask) as a bunch of companies that have decided to partner to work cohesively but mostly to maintain working relationship. You will need to reach out to each vendor and make appointment with them and meet whether face to face or over zooms but aside from wedgewood.. Same as you would if it were not all inclusive. Again what it does however, is gives you dedicated partners that are working closely on a constant basis... we decided to go with wedgewood because we have 1 year old twins and figured it would be a great fit for our situation. The staff are really friendly and extremely nice. You have a good amount of meetings with Wedgewood(maybe 3 plus a binder pick up so 4), in my opinion not too many, but I'm also local. You go through the run down, multiple times of what to expect, what the steps to come are, and how you'd like your day to look. Planning and coordination The day of, leading up to the ceremony, the day was seamless. Maybe an hour or 30 minutes before the ceremony the officiant meets with us in separate rooms (in my opinion too late in the process to iron over last minute details) I expressed a detail I'd liked altered and he gives me push back, to the point where I have to remind him this is my wedding. Floral Florals were nice, however I asked for only greenery on the tables and there were blooms. Also there were supposed to be guttered petals lining the ceremony isle instead there were 4 bags of petals unopened piled at the start of the isle. When I reached out to wedgewood they expressed the florist did not give them any instruction--but again as stated you have multiple meetings over the course of time and it states plainly in the paperwork that is an element of the ceremony Ceremony As the bride I can only speak to when I entered. But there was some issue with walkie talkies that ultimately delayed my entry. The song I was to enter to (I wanted no more than the first 54 seconds to play) was pretty much done after I was driven about 25mph on the back of a golf cart to the ceremony... hunny the hair is getting thrown all over from the wind, I'm holding on in hopes that I'm not thrown, to show up and my song is almost over. At this point ok we're gonna roll with the punches Officially yours I think the officiant thinks we've all come to see him. I kinda had strange vibes in our meeting but I like to trust that people are able to perform in their expertise maybe better than they can explain. We did ask for prayer in our initial and only meeting but a lot more interpretation was given rather than word. Danville bakery I absolutely loved this bakery, the owner was lovely very accommodating and listened to the things that were important to me. We picked up a tasting box and faxed back our request. Again I'm local so no big deal for me iMobile dj The dj was very good he was familiar with our music genre preferences and sound system was good throughout ceremony and reception. We met via zoom he made sure he understood our preferences and what we expected the day to look like, even provided recommendations Buffet capt I didn't have much a a close interaction with the catering staff. I appreciate them making sure all our small guests were served promptly. Even at the end of the night Vicki made sure the groom and I had food to take with us in case we didn't get a chance to enjoy our food due to the days flow. However the next day a lot of guest said they didn't get cake, and these were guest that don't communicate with each other and also no cake was sent back with us. Per the next day response of our coordinator stated each seat had a slice and there wasn't any left... mmm I dunno Our dedicated coordinator left at the beginning of our reception. Kinda strange but aside from cake issues our reception was fire (we had a really good dj) Overall experience I don't plan to have another wedding but if I could do it again I wouldn't necessarily make this route my first option. Again they are really nice but the actual flow of the ceremony needs more dedication. If there is a rehearsal and multiple meetings where we discuss how the day should look, I expect my day to reflect that. Yea things happen but we (if lucky) only get married once, these businesses function daily and could be a lot more fluid. Maybe don't depend on walkie talkies, maybe keep a copy of the plans on hand and make sure detail are covered. At the end of the night we tipped coordinators, dj, buffet capt, and bar tender. Side note: To be fair I reached out the next day expressed my gratitude and asked for possible resolve. I was replied to the next day (folks get busy) and no accountability was taken.

We told her the vague vision we had and loved the inspiration photos she sent us back. We specified what colors and general feel we wanted ("fall" but without pumpkins or maple leaves) and went back and forth a bit on the ceremony centerpiece, but beyond that we left a lot in her hands. I'm so glad we did because she got to do what she does best, which is create incredible floral art. I think Gina is also a bit magical because she did something pretty special and extraordinary with our flowers... A few weeks before the wedding she texted and asked me what jewelry I was going to wear on the big day. I sent back a picture of the earrings I planned to wear, red coral drops that my now-spouse had gotten me on a special vacation to Italy. He bought them for me in Napoli, a city that is very dear to my heart, and I chose them because they remind me of the "cornicello" a Neapolitan good-luck symbol that looks a bit like a red chili pepper. I didn't tell Gina any of that -- but on our wedding day she had red chili peppers scattered throughout our floral arrangements, including in bouquet. It absolutely blew me away! It felt like I was surrounded by little bursts of good luck everywhere I looked that day, and just meant the world to me. It also struck me as incredibly creative -- I'd never thought about including peppers in floral arrangements, and so many guests asked us about them. Finally, not only is Gina deeply creative but she's also a true professional. We had to move our entire ceremony from a redwood forest to our indoor reception venue on short notice due to rain. Gina pivoted on a dime without complaint, and really busted her butt to bring inside the forest feel we'd spent a year dreaming about. Furthermore, she and her team, with the help of our caterer and coordinator, flipped the ceremony space from an altar, aisle, and chairs, to a sit-down dinner for 140 in about 90 minutes. It took my breath away to see how she transformed the space and to experience how different it felt, and it was not lost on us how incredibly hard she and her team worked on our wedding day. And in one final very thoughtful surprise, she had purchased beautiful wooden cutouts of our and our wedding party's names for our plates at the head table. We had no idea she'd done that and were so touched by the gesture. To top it off, Gina was incredibly easy to work with, start to finish. She was a clear communicator, had easy online booking and payment, and was willing to work with our firm budget. I can also vouch for her special occasion arrangements; I hired her to send a bouquet to a friend for her birthday, and the arrangement was gorgeous. I'll be coming back to her for all my flower needs, whether everyday or special occasion, from here on out, and recommend her to everyone!
