No, I do not golf! But having long-time friends who own a vacation home on this amazing golf course, I can definitely say the Links at Bodega Harbour has the most spectacular ocean views that rival the golf courses in Hawaii. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, "in a true challenging Scottish style links course"...is how the fairway is described by the Links at Bodega Harbour website. What is not mentioned is the various types of weather you may encounter! But the locals and return visitors know and come prepared for howling, cold wind, dense fog or beautiful sunny skies depending upon the time of year and time of day. Weather delays? Not here. Be prepared to play no matter what!:) For the best golf in Sonoma County, the Links at Bodega Harbour is the place! Breathtaking views, abundant wildlife, and a challenging day of golf. Hit 'em straight!

The only links / seaside golf course in Sonoma county that's enjoyable. (Sea Ranch is a cow pasture not worthy of your time nor money). I thoroughly enjoyed my game today. The course is a mixture of three themes. Those being: 1. Challenging up and down topography. Severe changes in elevation and slopes. Sometimes I almost feared tipping the cart over on the sideways inclines. 2. Back holes 10 - 15 are wide open. Almost boring, not really challenging for a golfer with less than a 10 handicap. 3. Holes 16 & 17 are the weirdest two holes I have ever played. You abandon the cart. Get a push cart. Walk across a 150 yard wooden walkway in the middle of a brackish marsh that has 15 foot tall reeds. Hit the ball of those reeds to the holes. When done with these holes you trek back to your motorized cart and proceed to #18. I was told that this course is a delight when the weather is warm, sunny, mild and calm. And that it is pure golfer hell when the wind is howling. My experience today was grim grey skies and 10 mph winds. I played well enough. I plan to return soon. Too much fun.

Beautiful view and new chef is amazing! It's a hidden gem and bartenders are the best in Sonoma, super friendly and always recognize repeat customers.

OMG. We had tee time this past Wednesday at 9am. We drove up from the City. I don't know about Bodega Bay but in San Francisco we've got our best weather in September October timeframe. As we drove closer and closer to Bodega Bay it became apparent the weather wasn't going to resemble San Francisco's. It was blanketed in dense fog. Like zero visibility. I went into the pro shop. I asked if there was a weather delay. Nope. He said to imagine I was in Scotland. Our tee time was at 9am. We were there at 8:30am. So the four of us teed off at 9am. We didn't have a clue to the course layout. We were following this twosome, one who was a newbie. After awhile they allowed us to play through them. The starter gave us a heads up about hole 5. So we knew it was like a Z. That really helped. It wasn't until we were on the back nine that the fog finally lifted. Then we got to see the harbor and the ocean. Holes 16 & 17 you either carry your clubs or use one of the push carts they provide. Both holes are built over marsh land. Don't even try looking for your ball if it goes into the marsh. The course was in great shape. All in all we had a good time.

It's a great course - I lucked out and had a perfect day (no wind). It will be foggy in the morning. It is hilly and would be a challenging walk. The holes are forgiving until you get to 16. Good luck with the last three holes, play conservatively and don't try to bite too much off of the16th.

Great breakfast burritos and even better service. Professional and helpful. Would come again for sure. The course is difficult for me as an intermediate, but the most beautiful and fun golf course I've ever been to.

I can't say enough good things about this establishment!! I took my mom on a mother/daughter trip for the weekend. We were staying at one of the rental houses only a block away from the Links. Neither of us had ever golfed before so I decided to book a lesson for us. Our instructor was so awesome and so kind!!! We truly had the best experience!!! My fiancé likes to golf but I usually just sit in the golf cart and watch him play, now I feel confident enough to join him!! I will most definitely be going back soon!!! Once again, wonderful experience. Our instructor was so so nice and patient with us!!! I can't wait to go back!!

Without question the most beautiful course in Sonoma County. Best advice is book an as early as possible tee time. It tends to get really windy later in the day. This is a very fair course and will challenge every aspect of your game. Walking 18 is not for the faint of heart. The pro shop has a great selection of needs, local canned beers in a refrigerator, friendly staff and a substantial residential discount for green fees. Order food from your cart or mobile app and pick it up at the turn. I don't normally eat when I'm playing but can say it all looks great. Things that would improve the experience is more water stations on the course; I'm part camel and consume copious amounts of water. The warmup facilities are straight forward and meant to give you the chance to groove a swing in a batting cage like unit. You may not get to see majestic range swings but you can feel if you're striking the ball properly which is enough for me at least. Parking is convenient and albeit small sections there has always been a spot on the most full days.

#18. Really hard to hit on the downhill slant but if you hit it pure it'll be amazing!

Stunning course! As a intermediate player, I felt quite defeated in the front 9 since there was a lot of elevation changes, houses everywhere, and the putts breaking towards the ocean I needed to adapt to. I didn't expect this course to be easy so I wasn't expecting to do well, but man it was rough adjusting to those fast, unpredictable putts. My bf however did amazing and got lots of birdies and pars so I guess it just depends on your handicap. There are seriously houses everywhere with absolutely no protection at all. If you hit a hard slice, you will be in trouble. Luckily we didn't run into huge issues with the houses but it was absolutely terrifying! I was able to lose only a few balls and still have fun. The course is in amazing shape and grass was super playable despite it raining the day before. Probably the best price and conditioned golf course I've ever been to. Too bad I live in the East Bay. I will be back tho! Give this place a try. It may be intimidating but just go in for the experience, not to win or do well.

Pros: this was a very charming estate and the staff was beyond kind to both of us and our pup. He was welcome everywhere except the dining room, the pool and spa. The room was very cute and clean. The only downside for me and my allergies is that there is wood fireplace in each room. The bathroom had plenty of hot water. The breakfast was from 8-10 am in the dining room and had a decent meat-less spread. Toast, bagels, oatmeal and toppings, plain yogurt, cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, fruit salad, coffee, tea assortment and juices. The grounds are super cute and weather permitting there is a movie playing on a projector with complimentary s'mores to cook on the outdoor wood fire. Since we had our dog, we didn't use the pool or spa. "Aunt Kay" we interacted with the most and was so kind to both of us and Dio. She made our stay! Not only was she informative but also checked in on us when we we'd pass through the lobby. Dio was a big fan of her. Cons: if you have allergies or are sensitive to wood smoke, this is not your destination. Again, there are wood burning fireplaces in each room and a large fire pit by the movie. The room we stayed at is across from the pool and it can get noisy. You can also hear everyone that walks in front of your room. Along with that there is a lot of wildlife, so you may need ear plugs. If you need to sleep in the dark, the front blinds are going to still let in light, so bring a sleep mask. Update: we got a text that I forgot my socks in the room. They offered to mail them to us, we declined. I don't remember the last time house keeping and the front office too the time to be that considerate.

I finally got a hold of the reservation person, not on site, (the last three days I tried to call this place twice they did not pick up, and just now, I was in the middle of the conversation, and was hung up on). Further, before I actually spoke to this person just now, I sent them not one, but two emails in the last four days via their own website, and have not received a response. My friend and I did a staycation at this facility a few years ago and enjoyed our stay. However, it does not appear that customer service exists at this place anymore. Since they've made it blatantly clear they don't need my business, I'll make sure any of my out of town friends and family looking to stay on our coast, know exactly where NOT to stay.

The planning process was great, although Tianna, the individual on we initially worked closely with, transitioned to a different place so we were paired with another person on the team by the final walk through. Despite the change, everyone else on the team has been phenomenal, especially Christiana and Marisa so definitely all staff is AMAZING! When they mean they will handle everything, they seriously took care of everything day of. I did not have to ask my bridesmaids to do a single thing which helped with the overall process. The staff took meticulous notes during our final walk through and planning so everything was as envisioned. Christiana was our day of coordinator and seriously, she was the most patient and kindest person I've ever met. She was smiling the entire time, truly genuine, and had the kindest heart. No words could describe how she is as a person and I'm truly grateful to have had the privilege of working with her. As an anxious Type A person, I could not imagine how my day would have gone without having such a genuine calm person by my side. Day of, we were running about 30 minutes behind schedule, which wasn't anyone's fault. We took a bunch of photos during cocktail hour per our request, there was confusion with our escort cards on our end, and my dress had to be adjusted for every photo, oops! We still managed to adapt and the entire team, including the DJ, was flexible and calm throughout which I truly appreciated. Open bar was great and bartenders were awesome! Definitely worth the top shelf liquor package. Food was good although we had small hiccup with the prime rib and there was miscommunication about the buffet. However, I am more than happy with how management and staff handled the problem. They took accountability, ownership, and offered a resolution - that in itself to me is more than I could have asked for. With weddings or any event, there are small issues or error to arise, so I'm more than pleased with how Marisa and the team went above and beyond even after the wedding. We got a lot of compliments on the venue itself. From the outside ceremony site to the indoor ballroom, every area was stunning. All my guests are primarily from the East Bay so it was a nice change in scenery yet still close to home. Overall, I'd recommend this venue! From the staff to the vendors to the food, everyone has been a pleasure to work with. Thank you StoneTree staff, you are all wonderful!

Elite Package Ok…read moreit's a long one but if you're going to invest money anywhere I think it could be helpful to make an informed decision. So overall I think the concept and idea of all inclusive planning is cool and can help ease some wedding planning stresses but throughout, I've explained it (when people ask) as a bunch of companies that have decided to partner to work cohesively but mostly to maintain working relationship. You will need to reach out to each vendor and make appointment with them and meet whether face to face or over zooms but aside from wedgewood.. Same as you would if it were not all inclusive. Again what it does however, is gives you dedicated partners that are working closely on a constant basis... we decided to go with wedgewood because we have 1 year old twins and figured it would be a great fit for our situation. The staff are really friendly and extremely nice. You have a good amount of meetings with Wedgewood(maybe 3 plus a binder pick up so 4), in my opinion not too many, but I'm also local. You go through the run down, multiple times of what to expect, what the steps to come are, and how you'd like your day to look. Planning and coordination The day of, leading up to the ceremony, the day was seamless. Maybe an hour or 30 minutes before the ceremony the officiant meets with us in separate rooms (in my opinion too late in the process to iron over last minute details) I expressed a detail I'd liked altered and he gives me push back, to the point where I have to remind him this is my wedding. Floral Florals were nice, however I asked for only greenery on the tables and there were blooms. Also there were supposed to be guttered petals lining the ceremony isle instead there were 4 bags of petals unopened piled at the start of the isle. When I reached out to wedgewood they expressed the florist did not give them any instruction--but again as stated you have multiple meetings over the course of time and it states plainly in the paperwork that is an element of the ceremony Ceremony As the bride I can only speak to when I entered. But there was some issue with walkie talkies that ultimately delayed my entry. The song I was to enter to (I wanted no more than the first 54 seconds to play) was pretty much done after I was driven about 25mph on the back of a golf cart to the ceremony... hunny the hair is getting thrown all over from the wind, I'm holding on in hopes that I'm not thrown, to show up and my song is almost over. At this point ok we're gonna roll with the punches Officially yours I think the officiant thinks we've all come to see him. I kinda had strange vibes in our meeting but I like to trust that people are able to perform in their expertise maybe better than they can explain. We did ask for prayer in our initial and only meeting but a lot more interpretation was given rather than word. Danville bakery I absolutely loved this bakery, the owner was lovely very accommodating and listened to the things that were important to me. We picked up a tasting box and faxed back our request. Again I'm local so no big deal for me iMobile dj The dj was very good he was familiar with our music genre preferences and sound system was good throughout ceremony and reception. We met via zoom he made sure he understood our preferences and what we expected the day to look like, even provided recommendations Buffet capt I didn't have much a a close interaction with the catering staff. I appreciate them making sure all our small guests were served promptly. Even at the end of the night Vicki made sure the groom and I had food to take with us in case we didn't get a chance to enjoy our food due to the days flow. However the next day a lot of guest said they didn't get cake, and these were guest that don't communicate with each other and also no cake was sent back with us. Per the next day response of our coordinator stated each seat had a slice and there wasn't any left... mmm I dunno Our dedicated coordinator left at the beginning of our reception. Kinda strange but aside from cake issues our reception was fire (we had a really good dj) Overall experience I don't plan to have another wedding but if I could do it again I wouldn't necessarily make this route my first option. Again they are really nice but the actual flow of the ceremony needs more dedication. If there is a rehearsal and multiple meetings where we discuss how the day should look, I expect my day to reflect that. Yea things happen but we (if lucky) only get married once, these businesses function daily and could be a lot more fluid. Maybe don't depend on walkie talkies, maybe keep a copy of the plans on hand and make sure detail are covered. At the end of the night we tipped coordinators, dj, buffet capt, and bar tender. Side note: To be fair I reached out the next day expressed my gratitude and asked for possible resolve. I was replied to the next day (folks get busy) and no accountability was taken.

She had wonderful ideas for the games, decorations, food, and picked out a perfect venue (with plenty of parking space in SF). They even had a wonderful candy bar for us, milk and cookies bar etc. Everything was so unique down to the baby shower games they picked out for us! I absolutely loved it.
