Beautiful day for golfing under the blossoms
    Leah S.

We both love golf but we both also have a lot of miles on our bodies after military careers, so we just don't have the ability to do a whole 18 holes. 9 holes or less is really our ability level and searching for that brought us here. We came in on an overcast weekend morning and didn't have to wait long to tee off. They did have some carts so we rented one, threw our sticks in the back and started down the course. The layout is a head scratcher, but once you get a hang of it, it's not so bad. I wasn't super thrilled with the quality of some of the tee boxes, but overall, the course was fun to play. Prices are reasonable for those looking to have a short round, and for us on the more sorta beginner side of things, the course wasn't too hard. Biggest issue we found was having others golf onto the wrong fairway, and mixed up balls I kid you not, like 6 separate times. Other than that, this was fun, not super expensive, and a great quick nine on a local course.

    A beautiful on/off rainy day!

Still one of my top three favorite courses. Friendly, challenging enough and beautiful. I'm not a top golfer, just a dabbler about twice a month. My guy is in the men's club and there frequently working on the many nuances of the game.

Nice 9-hole course. Wish they had a website to pre-book tee times. Definitely will return.

Indeed speaking with a loud voice here almost feels like committing a sin. Even though I lived in eastern Sonoma county on & off for 51 years, yesterday was the first time I ever played golf here. My reason for the absence was "What, drive 50 minutes to play a 9 hole golf course? I live on a golf course where I'm a member of the club." Yep, Bone head excuse. This course is well maintained. Fairways are mowed nicely. There's no forest litter in the playing areas. Putting greens are smooth. And some of the greens are tricky with hills and dales. Of course the key to success here for a low score is to hit the ball straight to a landing zone that you can see. Don't attempt hero short cut shots through or above the grove of trees. Shot shaping around a curve is most likely to get you into trouble. If you are a golf addict that lives far away who happens to visit this part of California I heartedly recommend that you come here to play a game. If you are a local resident and have never played here, GO!

"The Rain, the Wind, the Views, and the Golf "....."what more can u ask for"…read more.. Golfing at the Links is always fun. We been coming annually for a few years and Bodega Links has always been accommodating. The "Guy" running the show is kind of LEGENDARY. He somehow manages to gather 20+ semi intoxicated dudes to post up for a photo ops prior to sending us on the course. - Course is super fun, even for a "not-at-all Super Pro" like myself who golf approximately1.7 times a year. LOL. - this place rivals some of the best courses i tee off at. Highly recommended teeing off at the Links whenever you get a chance. Sometimes you might get "Lucky" and get a hole-in-one where I'm holding the flag.

The greens are true but can be difficult to read (both speed and break, but that may be a personal problem, too. LOL) Holes #16 and #17 are very unique, but add to the charm, IMO. (It's not for everyone though.) Carts have GPS. There is no true driving range here -- only a netted cage. Plenty of convenient food and beverage options at the course -- both sit-down and to-go. Adequate parking. This track and the amenities make this an awesome golf destination with all of the lodging and dining options in the Bodega area.

I must say this is a gorgeous track with top notch facilities. The course if tough but fair. The greens are absolute perfection. Fairways are manicured. I think having mandatory caddies really help with the upkeep. Our group's caddies were Keith and Eric. Each caddy manages 2 bags. I suppose you can get a caddy for yourself, but I haven't played in months. This was just a chance to hangout with friends that I haven't seen so my game was below average. We played from the middle tees which is 6,156 yards with a 71.0/138 rating/slope. Pretty respectable for member's tees! After the round we enjoyed a nice Riesling wine accompanied with cheese and various small bites. I recommend sitting outdoor so you can take in the spectacular view. Their locker room is top notch complete with showers, steam room, toiletries and friendly staff to clean your shoes. Pro Tip: * Come early and hit balls at their exceptional range * Their range balls are Pro V1s * Seniors can ride/walk as needed * Tip your caddy $130 * Tip your shoe cleaner * Bring some cash and take care of their great staff

It's a very large venue which was nice as there was plenty of open seating. Our bartender was ok, nothing special. We asked for a bowl of water and he said there were two on the patio and pointed to one that had dog hair in it. We passed. We ordered a beer and four samplers to drink. We also ordered pizza but were told that the pizza place (Acre Pizza) couldn't do a half and half pizza and no modifications could be made. You can only add items on. So we ordered two pizzas and waited the 20-25 minutes. The pizza was ok, but nothing spectacular for the cost of 33 dollars per pizza, mine was a little burnt as well. The pizza came with two flimsy plates a few napkins and exactly 1 packet of red peppers and 1 packed of grated cheese. Just a heads up the Acre Pizza is a few doors down and when comparing menus there is a $5.00 per pizza mark up.
