Absolutely love this place. I went to Hayes Freedom High, and we are about a 10-15 minute walk away, so this was one of my favorite places to go after school. Their coffee is amazing (their caramel frappe is to die for). They keep the place incredibly clean, and i adore the look they gave it. (Very modern/rustic style). The employees are always super nice. One time they were practicing art with cream on some coffees they made, and when they were done they gave them to my friends and I for free instead of dumping them. read more

I highly recommend this place! It's the only coffee roasting and coffee shop location in the area. The coffee is delicious, smooth and creamy (I had a cappuccino). The staff is friendly and prompt. I loved the ambience and decor, they preserved original wooden floors which makes the space feel inviting and warm (the pictures don't do it justice) There are spots with comfy chairs for private conversations as well as tables for meeting with friends. Hidden River has something to hide! The roast date for their coffee beans! I'm not sure if it the new owners or if they are going to blame the pandemic - they are too busy to label the coffee beans? The label says "always roasted fresh" but no date anywhere. Either you are fresh local coffee bean roaster or you're not. I will not buy again until you label your product with the roast date. It is not too much to ask. read more

Hands down my favorite coffee ever. I only buy this coffee for my home espresso maker. It's perfectly roasted, not bitter and freshly roasted in many varieties. Don't listen to the haters on here about masks etc. we've got a couple crazy Far Left wing nuts in this town trying to ruin businesses they are fully targeting in an attempt to control behavior of others. This is NOT a safe place to get coffee: We have tried to get coffee from Hidden River Roasters MULTIPLE times since the pandemic started, but the people handling food and making coffee continue to not wear masks. Each time we walk out completely frustrated. The employee at the register has been masked, but wouldn't you think the people handling the food/beverages going out to customers would be more careful by wearing a face covering? As a person who qualifies as high risk with a chronic illness, this is very concerning for myself, and for the customers who drink and eat from here, potentially continuing the spread. I was honestly completely shocked by the total lack of concern (or awareness) of Covid demonstrated at this shop. Not one of the customers or employees were wearing masks. There were at least 15-20 people inside this small space. I felt anxious the whole 5 minutes I was in the shop waiting for my coffee, and made it out as quickly as possible. I wish I'd double masked, or at least had some sort of warning before entering -- I would not have gone if I had known the risk. The coffee was delicious, and the shop itself is cute! I will be coming back, but only in a year or two when Covid is no longer an issue. read more

Still truly one of the best places to go in Vancouver/camas and Battle Ground is Hidden River roasters. Their coffee is amazing and their service is so welcoming. It is a great vibe in the coffee shop. Their coffee is truly smooth and their snacks are very high end. I'm always impressed by their baristas and their friendliness. I love that they have a second location in Battle Ground now. I didn't mind traveling to Camas but it's great that it's local and I can have my favorite drink so close. read more

This is my favorite coffee spot to hit up on a sunny day. They have a lovely outside seating area with bamboo and picnic tables and cornhole for entertainment. If you must instagram everything there is a cute background specifically for your selfie at Hidden Rivers. Baristas are all super friendly and want to make sure your order is right. They will gladly Fix it if it's not. Yummy foods with vegan options is a cherry on the top to be washed down with the great coffee. Another cute addition to the already great downtown Camas area. Not a single person was wearing a mask or social distancing. Approximately 20 consumers were in the coffee shop with two employees. Another consumer came in an asked if she should be wearing a mask and one of the employees, possibly the owner said Maskes are optional. I am so interested in supporting local businesses and unfortunately I cannot support this business because of their lack of supporting the State Mandates. Really a no star review. read more

OK coffee, however one star is due to zero staff at this business wears mask or facial shield. Lots of people use so called 'medical reason' that they can't wear a mask but really, they can't even wear a face shield?? Is not a mask over ur mouth or nose but it can cover ur coughs into drinks or food before severing it. A covid asymptomatic (no temp, or symptoms) staff can serve 50-100 cup of joes a day and that's how covid wild fire starts. we'll be back to phase 0 and close down everything, which that's something I don't want and people will lose more jobs. I loved this place. Favorite local coffee house that I walk to everyday I walk my dog. Never had a bad experience here. Coffee's great, atmosphere wonderful, etc.. etc... Why 3 ? Because it was just explained to me politely, with an ear-to-ear grin, that my dog was no longer welcome on the expansive wrap-around covered porch outside. Despite the spring drizzly weather. Despite the sign next to me, on the door, expressing how much they LOVE dogs, but please request we keep them outside. Now I am asked to go sit on the COLD, WET picnic bench around the corner. Also it is explained to me *wide smile* that they request I leave my dog hitched to the ONE new silver ring they installed in this area. What if there's another dog there? What if I'm not comfortable leaving my fur-baby around the outside of their business while I support their business, almost daily? Maybe it's because I'm not one of their local elite? Well, it seems, according to the ' 'friendly' individual who explains the new policy to me(WHICH IS NOT POSTED), "..not all people are comfortable with a dog outside the door." We were on the furthest posts, next to a chair, on the corner of the porch. He was well secured and away from the doorway. My wife used to really like their coffee. For me it was so-so. We stopped going there when it became apparent that they had no interest in protecting their workers and customers from COVID. This is not a political issue as some other reviewers have stated, it is a public health issue. When a restaurant gets flagged by the health department for not adhering to sanitation standards and lose customers for that reason, it is a valid basis for giving a negative review. I am surprised that Yelp has removed my previous review from consideration as they did with many others, but I would note that quite a few others who used to patronize this place stopped going there because they had similar concerns as mine. read more
