Disappointing experience…read more I took my husband and 4 year old for their first pedicures yesterday! I had called and made an appointment earlier in the week. When we arrived we were instructed to pick our polish colors then told to sit at some chairs. When they saw my daughter they tried telling me she couldn't receive a pedicure because she was "too little" so they only wanted to paint her nails and nothing else. I pushed back as she could reach the water tub and was looking forward to getting one. The women at this location speak VERY little English and are not very friendly. My daughter and I had an okay experience with our pedicures (although some steps were skipped completely on my daughter). It was pretty rushed and there was little attention to detail. This was my husband's first experience and while he loved being there with us, he was very uncomfortable with the lady who did his pedicure. She never made eye contact, did not clean the dirt under his nails, was extremely rough when filing his toe nails, and was not friendly. She began his pedicure way after ours and finished a good 10 minutes before us. It was very disappointing. He wanted his toes to match our daughter and they didn't even acknowledge us when we tried to ask them to paint his nails. **beware of what they're charging you** I was charged $86 for the three of us and only asked for basic pedicures. The lady did nail art on my daughter's toe without asking and then charged me for it. We also got charged for the premium service when what we had received was rushed, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience. My husband has told me he won't be getting another pedicure because his toenails ache the day after and it was so uncomfortable. What a shame.

Natalie is the sweet owner & I had my nails done by Hallie. I showed Hallie several pictures and we narrowed it down to a fun, colorful Springtime design with a touch of glitter. I was incredibly impressed with her nail & cuticle care before my manicure, and the manicure process itself is a meticulous one ensuring every nail is perfect so that your manicure lasts weeks. I found W Nail Salon -- though the salon is "newer" here in Utah (Yui, the owner, used to have an established nail salon in San Diego), their reviews (a lot of them are on Google) are great. I called the salon, and Yui, the owner answered. I let her know I was hoping to get a mani/pedi done within the next day or so, and she promptly texted me the price list. I chose to do a gel manicure + classic pedicure the next weekday afternoon. I only live about 10mins away, but am newer to the area. Unfortunately there was at least two main streets my GPS directed through that were closed due to construction, and I had to get creative and find my own way around. It felt like it took forever, but I texted Yui, and she gave me some tips. I finally made it and wasn't too late for my appt. I was greeted by Yui and the others in the salon as soon as I walked in, and I immediately felt comfortable. I really liked the salon vibe. It's super clean, and everything is well-organized. I REALLY liked the color selection as well. Yui gave me her color and brand recommendations which no one has really done for me before -- I ended up taking her advice and liking the outcome a lot! Yui directed me to the pedicure tubs, gave me bottled water, guava juice and offered me some sweets which was an awesome touch. What hospitality! Yui was the only person who worked on my hands and feet, and I really loved how she took her time, making sure every detail was right. She is also very gentle and took care not to tickle me too much and used a cool dremel took to trim my cuticles. We talked quite a bit about cooking, travel and the like. It was a really nice time, and she gave me excellent massages. On top of it all, she gave me a bunch of hot egg rolls to take home (you can see in the pic I couldn't wait to munch on some on the way home, and they were good!) The pricing was actually $10 or so less than what I paid at K&Q (for practically the same services), but the service here was way better by far -- plus it's been over a week, and my polish is pretty much all still in tact. K&Q was chipping within days. I will definitely be returning here and hope to sit with Yui again! She is such a fun, sweet person, and I really enjoyed getting to know her!
