Stopped by for breakfast this morning at Hidden Cafe. The place was hopping as it's a popular spot. Kristen was my awesome server with a smile that lights up the place. All of the staff were very friendly and professional. I ordered the house omelet with o'brien potatoes and sourdough toast, OJ and a cup of coffee. The food was good and the service terrific. A very peaceful and positive ambiance. Recommended

Was around the area for a wedding. This place is definitely the place to be the morning after a wedding party. I tried the loco moco and the serving size was huge and filling. It definitely tasted amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. Definitely come early to avoid the line.

When we got to Camarillo, my daughter took us to Hidden Cafe for brunch where the menu was influenced by the owner's Chamorro heritage. The restaurant was somewhat "hidden" in the back of a multi building complex. Staff were quite busy but friendly and attentive. We took the first available table inside with views of the kitchen instead of the covered patio outside. Not sure what to eat, the menu listed many choices for both breakfast and lunch that should satisfy your hunger pains. The combo and sub choices also added more to the decision making! Overall the food was filling and satisfied some of our cravings for a Hawaiian style breakfast. The deluxe loco moco was good for 2 to share (with an extra plate included) with a beef patty grilled to your choice of doneness and came with spam and Portuguese sausages. My other daughter devoured her Portuguese sausage classic breakfast while I deviated by ordering the chili verde and eggs special. Definitely satisfied our hunger and would come back again.

5/5 Stars Don't let the name fool you--Hidden Cafe is a true hidden gem. If you're from Guam, Hawaiʻi, or simply love authentic island-style comfort food, this place delivers. The owners are originally from Guam and have been part of the Camarillo community for decades. They're incredibly friendly, welcoming, and treat you like family. It's easy to see why this restaurant has such a loyal local following. The food is the real deal--authentic, flavorful, and made with heart. Whether you're craving a taste of Guam, Hawaiʻi, or just a great home-cooked meal, you won't be disappointed. If you're driving through Camarillo or live nearby, make Hidden Cafe a stop. Great people, outstanding food, and an atmosphere that feels like home. Highly recommended. Five out of five stars!

This Cafe is located in Camarillo off Camarillo Springs Rd. It's so hidden that you might have passed it! It's on the first corner to you left. My Family wanted to eat here for breakfast. I never been here before, the hidden cafe felt so warm, cozy, super friendly and very charming. I love there are choices where you can eat. Whether it's inside, outside inclosed netting no flies , or just outside patio, and seating right out front of the cafe! Upon entering I noticed how super clean it was & so were the restrooms, this cafe is highly organized & attention to details! Our hostess told us that if we have a party everyone needs to get there first before she can sit us down, So kind of her. Our waitress Fernanda asked us if we had any questions & we did. She answered them all beautifully. We also asked Fernanda if there was some way we could lower the volume of the music. Jesse came by and changed the volume, that was very sweet of him! We ordered 2 hot Teas, 2 coffees, Veggie omelette which included hash browns, chicken omelette which included hash browns, classic egg whites Benedict which included O'Brien and Pancakes side of bacon . Everything was super delicious, their portions sizes are great too & so we're price points! Fernanda always asked if we needed anything, she was on it! Fernanda was so sweet, kind, caring, very genuine! She has this upbeat positive personality that really radiates! She is your Rare Diamond, her shine will never fade! Jesse was also so sweet & kind! I like to Thank Hidden Cafe for a lovely & beautiful visit! I would love to especially Thank Fernanda for making our visit so memorable!! I'll be definitely be back again! I'll tell all my family & friends to come here!

This is the great loco Moto. You gotta try this one. There's even a special one that has spam and some other things in it too.

This cute little place offer great service and really good food. We really like the loco Moko and it's worthy just to come here for that. The turkey patty is great and so are the wonderful.

This place may be hidden but sure is packed so come early. It's a small place but plenty of seating outdoors and pet friendly too. Why 4 stars? The last time we went I order to go and was given a stale cinnamon roll. We live an hour away and unable to return it. It's a crime to sell stale cinnamon rolls! Service 5 stars! Totally love... I can't even remember the other thing that I ordered because the cinnamon rolls were so memorable. They are beautiful, large, and delicious and topped with butter!!! We ate outside on the back patio and had a big party. The wait took awhile but that was probably because it was graduation weekend so the area was very busy. They took GREAT care of us and I would absolutely go back the next time I'm in the area. Literally for the cinnamon rolls alone.

Private parking lot. Classic diner ambience. Indoor & outdoor seating. Quiet neighborhood. Customer service is always a hit or miss, but we truly appreciate the good days. This is our go-to breakfast spot when my significant other is in town. My favorite are their pancakes - they taste deliciously buttery. But as you can see in my photos, they've gotten disappointingly small though ::sigh::

Totally family friendly! High chairs and changing table, yay!! Inside and patio dining. Love their expansive menu with some unique items. Usually a wait any time we go so expect that. Food is always a hit. Recently tried a different dish and went with the Portuguese sausage w/fried rice & fried egg, breakfast game changer.

They sold my email and information to a spam company without my permission. This is a shame since I liked them and WAS going to go back.

The food here is always good, it will fill your belly. But foodies don't expect anything remarkable, compared to what you can make at home.

West of Orleans is the real deal; an institution that meets, excels, devastates all notions of what Cajun/Creole/BBQ cuisine can or should accomplish to stand out amongst the rest of the competition. And with how high they stand, all should recognize. With a menu as expansive as most, West of Orleans manages to offer their patrons all of the classics seen with most other restaurants of the same variety, but with so much more... But onto the food. It's true to its word. Fresh, delicate, light, harmonious in every sense of the word. Flavorful beyond flavor. The PoBoy was delicious, as the shrimp popped, the remoulade sauce incredible, tangy and sweet but not overpowering. The Jerk Chicken Mac-n-Cheese was the perfect pair between savory and succulence. Not too spicy, not too smoky, just enough of everything. The macaroni held up its half of the bargain as well. Currently planning my next experience here. Stay tuned.

GETTING HERE:…read more Ventura Crab N Spice is located a few doors down from The Habit on Telephone in Ventura. The footprint is the Winco shopping center. REVIEW: First timer here (what.) and it was so good! Quiet, not too busy on the day we went (during the week). I remember in my baby years of Yelp I used to note that a restaurant was "good" if it was busy. Post-shutdown and currently 2026, it's OK to me if it's ghost town inside. :) We ordered the Clam Chowder Bowl and Sweet Potato Fries. GREAT! The chowder had nice flavor and was thick, and the clam pieces were tasty. The bread was warm and soft, so full of flavor. Service was good. Love the vibe inside, too. Love the decor and the entire vibe. As much as I love seafood, I can't wait to go back to try their other menu items. Thank you for a great meal. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing because of the service. We were seated at a table without menus and left waiting for about 10 minutes, which felt like an eternity because the restaurant was extremely hot and there didn't seem to be any A/C running. Once someone finally came over, we ordered our drinks and the AYCE option. Our first round of food came out fairly quickly, but we weren't given any utensils, and our drinks didn't arrive until we were nearly finished with the first round. We ordered our second round as soon as our drinks arrived, but then waited another 40 minutes for the food. When we asked about it, our waitress seemed irritated and dismissive rather than apologetic or helpful. Because there is a posted 90-minute time limit for AYCE, by the time our second round arrived, we were understandably disappointed that we didn't have enough time to order a third round. The frustrating part is that the food itself was fresh and tasty. We really wanted to love this place, and it's unfortunate that the poor service overshadowed what could have been a great birthday dinner. We left with a bad taste--not because of the food, but because of the experience.
