I come here every other week to get my gel manicure. Occasionally I'll get a pedicure when I have the money to splurge. Lee always takes me, either right away or at the least.. a ten/fifteen minute wait. I saw a review where a woman complained the color she wanted wasn't exact. Well when this happens, I tell them and then pick out another color. Not a big deal. They're respectful and very sweet. Came here today, a Tuesday, and it was a little busy around 3:30/4 pm. The place was alright. They could maybe use a little more staff for peak hours because although I came in at a good time and only waited about 2 min., there were several people who came after me that had to wait 30 min. The woman who did my nails was sweet. When I walked in I wasn't really greeted, I had to initiate what service I needed. Overall, my nails look nice and it was only $16 for a regular mani/ pedi so I was pleased ! If you come in and there is no wait then it's definitely worth it, quick cheap and decent ! Pedicure was alright , I felt from the moment I walked in as if everything was being rushed. The pedicure station is in the back not enough room for anyone to get by (picture posted). I did a simply spa pedicure the 5 minute massage was hard and ruff the top of my feet actually hurt. After my pedicure was done I was moved over to get my manicure . They put a bowl with marbles and water my hands never went inside the bowl that's how rushed everything was that they didn't even realize. In my quest to find my go-to nail salon, I decided to go to give this place a try. They had me choose my pedi color quickly and off to the back I went. This is what happened in a nutshell: 1) They don't immediately sanitize their tools (for mani + pedi). That's not to say the tools are never sanitized, but the artists in other places I've been to always do it on the spot. 2) They don't immediately clean the manicure stations. When I was sat down, I didn't have reason to think there'd be nail clippings from the customers before me, but there were. When they moved me to another artist who had more experience with gel, same deal. 3) I understand manicure stations get dirty, but the UV lamp was insanely dirty. It was to the point that I couldn't lay my hand down comfortably (I had to hold them up mid-air). 4) No pedicure drying station (at least it wasn't offered to me). Initially I didn't mind this because I walked out in flip flops, but over an hour later I put on flats because it was raining and noticed they were messed up the next day. The artists did a great jobs on my nails but unfortunately the experience will probably be enough of a reason for me not to come back. read more

I feel so guilty to have tried a new nail place but my usual place had a limited amount of colors and I wanted to try something new. There were so many Essie colors here! The regulars were waiting in line so I figured it was a good place. They didn't have too many people working, but everything ran very smooth and I was able to get in a pedicure chair by the time I picked a color from the selection. I went around 12:15 on a Friday and there were 4 other people getting their nails done too. I got acrylic tips ($25) gel were 38. Lee did my nails and he was so nice and my nails came out great. I went here for an eyebrow wax. The skin under my eyebrows got completely ripped off. I don't know if it was the wax or the technician but I'm so upset. I have 2 strips of redness under my eyebrows now and it looks horrendous. The skin is literally gone. The technician told me it was because I have sensitive skin....that's not sensitive skin that's careless service. I'm so beyond upset. Go somewhere else that knows how to wax. I came to this place after finding it on yelp. I had a pedicure #2 and a gel manicure. The young girl that worked on my feet did a really good job. And I loved my manicure! They do have a large selection of essie nail polish. I was able to find a nail polish color to match my manicure with no problem. I had the worst experience at this salon. I usually go to H2H but they were busy so I gave this place a try. I got a new set by Lee, which I felt he was rude, no personslity and was rushing. Didn't file my nails very well. The salon seemed old and dirty. He did a crappy job on my nails. Two days later 2 nails broke off. I went back to get them fixed by Lee and he gave me such an attitude. Accused me of lying when I got them done. I offered to show him proof but he did not care to see. He yelled at me to find a color, which I needed the same plain red used 2 days prior. All the polishes were old and dried out. He refused to help acted extremely annoyed and yelled some more. I was shocked at his behavior and that he was the owner acting like that. I told him he needed to work on his customer service and I would never come back. read more

I came in after work for a gel mani and pedi. I called ahead, but there was no wait at 5pm. Pedi: There were several different pedicures offered from $12 - $40, and I went for the callus remover option for $20 (which meant my feet were wrapped in plastic wrap and callus remover, and then given a good, long pumas- and man, did she go to town!) The massage chair was comfy, but I had to keep turning it back on every 10 minutes. My only real complaint was when I got home and looked at the polish, it wasn't the best paint job ever, but you can't tell unless you look really close. Mani: The gel mani was great, actually one of the best I've had. The guy who did it (I think his name was Lee), was very detail oriented, leaving no extra gel on my cuticles and making sure I was very happy with the color. And it was only $18 (with no extra charge for removing my old gel). My only complaint here was that they soaked my fingers in acetone instead of using foil on each of my finger. Massage: After my pedi, the lady came over while my nails were being filed and gave me the best back and neck massage I've ever had at a nail salon. She was awesome! The facility is not super clean or fancy, so if you're looking for a posh salon, this isn't for you. But I will definitely be back! I absolutely love this place! Although when you walk in it seems not worthy of 5 stars, the staff is always happy and greets quickly. They are always prepared to work and are very accommodating. I've been to other salons near the area but out of all of them I think I definitely found my to go spot. I usually come here because it's up the block and convenient, but the last two times I've been here, I'm TOTALLY unsatisfied with the quality of their work. I came back last time because my polish chipped off my pedicure and came back to get it fixed and the woman who fixed it literally painted over the polish that was already on. Seems like she should have wiped off the whole thing and painted it from scratch. Then again today, I noticed an air bubble in the middle of my big toe and at first I thought it was just dirt or something so I went to wipe it away and the polish smudged. I was under the dryer for TWENTY FIVE minutes. Definitely thought that'd be long enough for my polish to be completely dry, which indicates the woman used way too much polish. So, I went right back in and the woman did exactly what the other woman did and started painting over the smudge!! It was totally noticeable and she's like, "no, it's fine" and I said, "no, can you please take it off and start again?" I shouldn't have to tell you. I will definitely not be coming back here. Save your money and go elsewhere because they clearly do not care about quality service. read more

Horrible place. Don't ever go here. I went in to get acrylics done and the guy, Lee, rushed through the entire process. He didn't clean any of the files or equipment he used. Very unsanitary. He just started applying the acrylics without even pushing back or clipping the cuticles, or filing my nails properly. There's something you put on your nails before putting on acrylic called primer and dehydrator and he failed to so that as well. I never got a chance to wash my hands before he could paint them. He just rolled right through it. Especially after he had someone waiting to get their nails done by him. As if I wasn't am important customer enough paying nearly 50$ for acrylics. Also after I say down to dry my nails, the lady paying only 15$ next to me received a massage while I sat there with no one paying attention to me who had spent nearly triple than that lady had. After halfway through drying my nails, Lee realized he forgot to out a top coat on and sent one of the other girls to do it. She ended up ruining the glossy look and I had to sit there again n dry my nails all over. I say there drying my nails for nearly 30-45 minutes with my shoulders n neck sore from holding out my hands under a little fan like that. I've been treated much better at other places. I don't know what other reviewers have experienced when they have gone there but I won't be going there again. And I would definitely not recommend it to anyone ever. Also my acrylics didn't come out looking to great. They weren't even and thicker on some parts of my nail then others. I also had pretty jagged edges since filing wasn't done properly. Poor effort.
