I came across Hicks Brunson via their YouTube Shorts where they explain all about the Transitions lenses and others. Such good content, and answers so many questions. That said, I still had tons of questions so I reached out via phone. They spent 30 minutes on the phone, discussing my needs and provided me with 3 written quotes for various combinations of lenses that would work for me. I was amazed at the level of knowledge and care that was provided. The whole process was very consultative and didn't feel like sales pitch whatsoever. I am forever grateful for the help they provided I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment. read more

Outstanding service from Becky Joe at Hicks Brunson Eyewear! I placed my order over the phone, and Becky Joe made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive to every detail--even helping me choose the right frame style and fit without seeing me in person. Her professionalism and warmth came through clearly, even over the phone. It's rare to find that level of care and service remotely, and she truly exceeded expectations. Highly recommend working with her! THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR FRAMES! read more

I've made two separate sunglasses purchases here about a year or two apart. The first time I visited, I was the only one there and customer service was stellar (obviously). The second purchase I made (b/c I had a 20% coupon by mail), they were super busy with three people working and with customers. As I patiently waited, one of the staff kept checking in with me and assuring me it wouldn't be much longer. I observed her going to uber customer service status with an older customer that was a bit needy. I was impressed. I was soon quickly checked-out but not without a nice chat with the staff member (even though they were almost swamped). ' Be aware that their eyewear is of very high quality and you pay for what you get. I really appreciated that coupon! read more

Have been having back headaches and migraines the past few years (I stare at a computer screen or my phone all day). Talked with Becki Jo about the blue blocker glasses and decided to go ahead and buy a pair of EyeO's. They have made such a difference with my headaches!!! I have had them for a couple of weeks now and I haven't had one headache (use to get them every few days). The information I got on blue light exposure was awesome!! I really appreciated the time she took to educate me and having to put up with me having a hard time choosing a pair glasses I liked (I had Lasik to get out of glasses). I love what I did pick out though. They are comfortable and lightweight. I already forget that I have them on sometimes. Thank you!!! read more

I've been a Hicks Brunson customer for years and always been satisfied. About two and a half years ago I bought new frames and lenses because my prescription had changed. After a while I couldn't seem to get the smudges off my lenses. Went back in and seems I had crazing on my lenses. A part of the coating was rubbing off. I thought I'd have to wear them till my eyesight changed and I needed new glasses again. But Daniel called me and told me how much they value their customers and never want to lose one. My two year warranty had expired but Daniel made it right. I got new in smudged lenses at no cost. They didn't have to do that but Hicks Brunson does value their customers. Thank you Daniel and Hicks Brunson for standing behind your product and standing with your customers. John Kendrick read more

How refreshing to have a family owned business that really cares about you and all of your eyes are needs. For years I was getting my glasses and prescription filled by my optometrist thinking that that was the best way to go. However year after year it just kept getting so expensive and I felt that she was over charging me. Well, I finally decided to give Hicks Brunson a try since I live right near Utica Square. Boy, I am so glad that I did. Not only were they better priced for my lenses they really seemed to care about my satisfaction with them. Also the lenses were at a better price for the level above what I had. I was right, my optometrist was ripping me off. Needless to say, this family knows how to do business and is very passionate about it. I recommend them for all of your eyewear needs. read more

Great family owned and operated place. Great selection of cool frames. They only take one kind of insurance (not mine), and they can be pricey but the service is unmatched. My glasses were taking a little longer than expected and they literally made me a "backup" pair at no extra cost so I would have something to wear (my old pair got broken and were being held together with super glue)! I've gotten a total of 4 pairs of glasses there (5 counting the freebies) and they have exceeded expectations every time. I highly recommend them. read more

I've never received such knowledgeable and high quality customer service while purchasing glasses until I came here. Daniel was extremely helpful in finding a frame that was most aesthetic on me while being compatible with my prescription. Yes, the frames are a bit on the pricier-side, but my new glasses are easily the best pair I've ever owned. Hicks Brunson has a very satisfied, new recurrent customer. read more

I was in town visiting my father who had received a new pair of eyeglasses from the VA via the mail. He is house bound and needed to have them fitted to keep them from falling down his nose. While in Utica Square, I went in Hicks Brunson to see if they had nose pads or something to keep the glasses in place. Rick Brunson , the owner listened to my dilemma and told me to take pictures of my Dad wearing the glasses from several angles and bring them in and he would work on them. For Free! I brought them in and he made some adjustments and my Dad is very happy and wearing his new glasses. What an extraordinarily kind thing to do!! Growing up I got my first glasses at Hicks Brunson . They were fabulous then and remain so. It is so nice to see a family run business do well and also give back to their community. read more

Awesome family owned eyewear business. I cannot say enough about the professionalism. I have been using them around 12 years. My husband and I get all of our glasses from them. I have 2 little granddaughters that get their glasses there also. Let's just say little ones are rough on glasses. These people have taken care of the damage way beyond what is called for. When you first walk in you feel like you are the only person there. They have fabulous looking glasses and fun glasses too. I hardly ever post a review -- much less a 5 star review. I will not go to another eyewear business in Tulsa as long as they are in town. read more

My husband and one of my sons (6 years old) ended up in Hicks Brunson the day after Christmas because the electric helicopter that he had begged for, been on his best behavior for, and giddily received from Santa the morning before... had broken. He was in full-on tears. Under inspection, it became clear that a tiny screw had gone missing. It reminded me of screws from the hinge in sunglasses. The only place I could think of to repair it was an eyeglass store, so I called the nearest one, Hicks Brunson, and sent my husband and kiddo there, anxiously hoping they had the right screw. They didn't have an exact match, but they popped into the back of their store and made one. That's right... they made one! Wow! My husband said that my son thinks the workers there must be elves and is sure that their "workshop" in the back is magical. Apparently, my son even checked one of the employees for elf ears. So... while I don't wear glasses and no one in my family currently does, I can assure you that when we need them (and we will), this is the store we'll all be going to! Anyone who can be so kind, understanding and attentive to a broken-hearted little boy has not only won my business... they have also won my heart. Please... go support this wonderful LOCAL business who understands how to treat people, all people, with respect and kindness. It's a rare thing these days and these guys do it right! read more
