But I eventually realized that I may not have been getting the best care. I had nothing else to compare it to. So when it came time for my annual exam visit, I decided to look for somewhere that would give me higher quality care. I did some research online for in-network providers and found Vision Source. When I read the reviews, I learned that Vision Source uses technology to help diagnose their client's needs. I also learned that the staff take their time to make sure your needs are being met. These were things I were looking for. I stare at a screen about 16 hours a day so I want to make sure that I am getting the best care for my eyesight. So I booked an appointment. After a short wait in the waiting room, I was taken back and had a completely different experience than I have ever had. I didn't feel rushed. I actually connected with each person. I felt like my care was a top priority. I didn't feel like a number being rushed through a cattle call. I learned new things about the condition of my eyesight and getting the glasses I needed was a breeze. While I was choosing my frames I got tired and started to sweat quite a bit. I asked if they had any water. My consultant went and got me ice water, turned down the AC and made sure I was comfortable while I made a decision on how I would invest in my next pair of glasses. My wife and daughter also wear glasses and I know that I will be bringing them here for their next exam and glasses.

The office managed to squeeze me in, even though it was the day before Thanksgiving. I saw Dr. Simpson, who diagnosed the problem; prescribed eye drops, explained exactly what they were for, and showed me how to administer them (I can't stand having things near my eyes); and told me to call her (on her days off) if the pain worsened. I could not have been happier with the care that I received. My eye continually improved, and it was back to normal within the time frame Dr. Simpson had given me. My experiences at Vision Source have been fantastic.

Rude office staff when I call. Dr Paul recommended single vision contacts and when they did not work for me she would not see me when I returned but sent her tech instead. There are 4 in my family and NONE will return. We wanted to support a local business but unfortunately our relationship will not continue.

My last exam & getting my new lens was one of the worst experiences ever. My last exam was May 2019 and several incorrect lenses were ordered/delivered. When the correct lens arrived none of the office personnel (at that time) could put it in my wireless frames so I had to make appointments on Dr. Paul's schedule for her to put in the lens. I left work & showed up for numerous appointments only to be told the Doctor was behind and I'd have to reschedule. It took over 2 months of the office manager cancelling & rescheduling my appointments before I got the lens in my glasses and by then it was Fall of 2019, almost 5 months after I ordered and paid for the lens. I talked to the optometrist about all the cancellations and time frame it took to get my lens and she wasn't at all concerned or apologetic.
