Very nice lady answered and set me up with an appt. The tech came out and I showed him the wear marks. I informed tech I just bought this house and I found these marks. The tech was friendly, knowledgeable and professional looking. The tech represented Tri State very well I thought. The tech showed me that the doors had worn some of the 2x4 framing inside the garage to the point that they do not rub anymore and everything was working fine but he checked the rollers anyways and said there was a slight adjustment he could do to the first wheel on the track. Since he was out here anyways, I had him lubricate the spring and all the joints.

Not only did he fix our door in less than optimum conditions but he oiled the remaining two doors and made a safety check on everything else without being asked. I'm really impressed by a company that does a check (at no charge no less) and then tells you that everything looks good and nothing else needs to be repaired at this time. He did a great job and we will continue to use when other issues arise. I like supporting the small business owner especially when they do such qualify work and have so much integrity.

After 3 weeks had passed, the temporary fix had broken again, so I called him to see if the spring was in. He said he would come later that day with a spring from the warehouse? It seems to me that he had the spring the entire time, forgot about me and never apologized for it, so I questioned why there was not better communication from him. He said he would come out later that day to fix. About and hour later he called to inform me that he was not going to repair my garage door because I hurt his feelings when I questioned him. No accountability for his actions and I would NEVER recommend him to anyone I would've given no stars but of course Yelp makes us give at least one

I called Overhead garage door hoping they would supply an answer by phone. Instead they took a credit card and sent a technician. I showed him what was happening and he turned a knob on the garage motor. The garage door went down. It took a week for them to send the$125 bill. The garage door was again stuck. I researched again and saw in a Reddit post that sun was affecting the sensor. Now, we had the real answer. Yes, the service agent had come timely. Happily I was smart and took a photo of the garage door motor. But these guys could care lessabout helping unless they could extract unnecessary fees.
