      The technician came to my home for a regular check on my a/c and furnace. He did not explain…read moreanything to me and he was there for over 2 hours. When he did speak to me he handed me a notice and said he shut off my the gas to my furnace because it was emitting carbon monoxide into my home. You can't imagine how upsetting this was. He then recommended a salesman from Aire Serv who could come out immediately. It was a scam! Aire Serv tried to overcharge me by$12,800 for a new a/c & furnace. I got a second opinion and my furnace was operating within normal standards and the unit I bought cost me less than $10,000. Aire Serv attempted to get me to make an overpriced, emotional decision. I recommend others avoid them.

The last straw was when they sent someone out to look at our furnace, he was there under 30 minutes, said the "door panel" wasn't closed correctly and charged us $368! When I called the office the next day, at first they were understanding and I thought they would correct the invoice that was for no real service or parts at all, and just charge me the trip charge, but they had already cashed the check and 2 days later claimed there was nothing they could do. I immediately cancelled our membership with all of their services! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

It never occurred to me to check services we had in Maryland such as Angie List and Thumbtack. As a result, I stumbled upon "All Around Handyman." Upon accessing Yelp and detailing the services I needed. I was pleasantly surprised by an immediate response from the owner/operator of All Around Handyman, who requested that I select and schedule a date and time on his calendar which I did. Chad arrived ten-minutes early with a big smile on his face. I found him to be knowledgeable, professional, and respectful. As well as a very resourceful handyman. It was refreshing to meet a friendly handyman with a downhome attitude who shares a similar outdoor lifestyle as I. I hadn't laughed so much as a resident of Sioux Falls. Chad was precise as he measured, eyed, marked and hung a 3-piece Glass Wall Sconce Set on wall behind dining room table. Also, hung pictures on walls behind/above living room couch, the fireplace, office desk and bedroom headboard. Placement of these pictures made the apartment more attractive with a homey vibe. Now Chad is my go-to person for apartment services.

We thought we would enjoy it but didn't realize just how nice it was really going to be. The crew was professional and wasted no time in getting to it. In addition to the garage they also installed a new floor in our screened porch. That turned out equally nice. Both projects were so nice we wished we had done this years ago. This was a 3 day project and even though we are 100 miles or so away we felt the cost was well worth it. Give them a try - you will not regret it! I had a horrible time trying to get them to come out and complete the install, I begged and pleaded with texts not being returned. That led me to contact another contractor and thats how I found out about the issues. I was nice enough to still allow them to keep the money in full and asked for a refund of my remaining money. They made up some 4% fee to take off my refund even after I paid for the horrible work. Do your research before hiring anyone! They also adjusted my front door and did not reinstall the trim correctly. It looks horrible!
